Amazing. I am out of questions, so its time to go back to the table and play some more. Thanks so much, again guys!

csouth and inultus thanks so much! You have made it clearer now. theryon, you too, thanks so much for all the info. I love how helpful these forums and pathfinder fans have been! This has been great. I do have some follow up questions somewhat related to this topic.

1-The base set came with several characters and there is also a character add-on deck to provide 4 more. I would assume this would allow an 11 player adventure. However, as i read the rulebook it mentions topping out at 6. Is there a point to purchasing the add-ons if you cant play a large group together?

2-On top of that add-on deck there are class decks coming out. Again whats the point of extra characters?

3-If a person were to purchase all of these items anyways, would they even be able to fully fit in the box? lol dumb question but i had to ask now seeing all that is to be purchased for RotR.

Thanks so much for taking time to answer a noob's questions!

I am still learning exactly how HUGE the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game is. I recently bought the base set, Rise of the Runelords. As i was cruising through this site and learning more, on one of the first pages i came to was a long list of campaigns. Here are my questions.

1-Are these campaigns independent from each other? I play Harsk in ROTRL. When that is wrapped up after the 6th adventure deck am i done with him? Which brings me to my second question.

2-Is the next campaign in the lineup, Curse of the Crimson Throne, another base set i must purchase, with its own characters and such, or is it simply the first of another set of adventure decks i must purchase.

3-As i look down the list of campaigns i see 15, each with 6 adventures. I am just looking for clarification as i would like to keep my character as well as purchase and play the adventures in order.

Rise of the Runelords
Curse of the Crimson Throne
Second Darkness
Legacy of Fire
Council of Thieves
Kingmaker
Serpent's Skull
Carrion Crown
Jade Regent
Skull & Shackles
Shattered Star
Reign of Winter
Wrath of Righteous
Mummy's Mask
Iron Gods

thanks for the help guys!

Ok thanks! So simply put, weapons may remain in my hand indefinitely unless i use them for a bonus die. Valeros gets to use them for a bonus die but recharges instead of discard. Thanks! Got it.

When it comes to fighter type characters, for Harsk or Valeros, is it beneficial to cycle (recharge) your weapons to get those bigger hits or horde them and hold a couple in your hand?

Hey all, i am brand new to this amazing game. I have two (what i feel are probably going to be dumb) questions. First, a friend that taught me how to play the game said that weapons after played do not have to be discarded. I couldn't find anything conclusive in the instructions, but i thought since it was played for combat it should be discarded like other cards are. Versus being able to keep weapons in my hand until i decide to use them for a 1d4 roll. Second, how does Valeros' power work when it comes to recharging weapons? Sorry for such silly questions i just want to make sure i am grasping this game correctly. Thanks in advance!
