Hi, I'd like to submit this character for the game. I was in a Skull and Shackles game that folded and would SO love to pick back up where we left off... though with a new character, as sadly, the old one would be redundant in this party.

Sjora stands at an average height for a young woman. Her black hair hangs loose behind her, blowing in the breeze. Surprisingly violet eyes miss very little around her. Her leather pants are styled to look like clothing, though they are actually part of a finely-made suit of light armor. Under the top part of the armor, she wears a light hooded shirt, edged with a bit of lace, her one concession to her pampered past. When working or meeting strangers, she keeps a veil in place over her face, partially hiding her features, keeping her thoughts and intents to herself regardless of her words, which are usually cautious and measured. Sjora carries no visible weapons. Her healer's kit is worn at her belt, always at the ready for any circumstance that may arise. She does not, however, have the soft hands of a typical healer, bearing the scars and calluses of a weaponsmith and fighter on her hands and forearms, a definite disconnect from what she seems on the surface.

She is an oracle and healer, and all her information is in her profile.

I typically post at least once a day, often more frequently as the flow of the game requires.

Sjora nods at Rufon's assessment. "Yes, rufon, that's what I meant. We have no idea how much more we might have to investigate of that cave complex."

SJora casts the second healing spell on Thrace then, and smiles at the tiger, hesitant at first at touching the great beast, but finally laying her hands on him as she casts her spell.

"He's so beautiful... and deadly." She smiles at Rufon as she gently caresses Thrace a little bit.

there's still a 7 point heal up for grabs - if no one wants it, oh well... but it's there for the first person who wants to claim it.

Come morning, Sjora will attend the priest's morning service before her quietly private prayers during which she will regain her spells for the day.

After breakfast, she will smile at the others brightly. "Are we ready to try this again?"

Quietly to the others, standing away from Jalind slightly, Sjora speaks for the party alone. "I have that much on me and can pay it, but maybe when or if we find anything of enough value I can get reimbursed for your shares of the cost? Does that sound fair?"

Sjora looks at the ruins of the inn and sighs. "I guess we just find a place in town to set up a camp of sorts, eh? Unless some kind folks will take us in for a nap."

"Does Thrace need some healing too? I do have a little left. It might be a good idea before we search this room, in case there's another one of those things... or something worse."

When Sjora returns she shrugs and turns to Etienne. "I can heal your companion, but resting afterwards might not be a bad idea."

She begins the incantation to cast cure light wounds.

Sjora returns with a little sigh of dismay and shame. "I'm so sorry I ran... I was overcome with a sense of dread... to my utter embarassment. Please excuse my failing in helping you overcome this foe... but it seems you managed fine without me... I'm glad to see the threat is over... where is the body?" She looks around the room and finds no change really - not even a fallen foe...

Sjora continues to run, overtaken with fright... Knowing the way out, she runs back via the path already taken, hoping to free herself from this terrifying being.

If the creature is close enough to attack in melee combat, Sjora drops her crossbow and extends a greatsword from her hands, moves close enough to take a swipe at the creature.

If the creature is still at too far a range to reach in one round, she fires her crossbow... either way:

Sjora squints into the darkness, trying to see, and when she can't, focuses other senses, listening for the sound of wings or the feeling of disturbance in the air near her. She keeps her crossbow at the ready for the time being...

It'd be nice if I were a cleric with channel and could get all 3 of you at once, but it seems kind of silly to use a CLW on Isabeau when she's only down 3 points and can easily stay out of combat by flying to the rear of any fight. I can do CLW on Rufon and Thrace now if you want - just let me know if you want to do it now or wait.

Rufon, Thrace and Isabeau all show they are fine in their status bars, so it's hard to tell they could use some healing.

Sjora moves over to the circle and moves some of the sand around to deface the circle, breaking some of the lines, trying to do so without making a total mess, so it doesn't LOOK too terribly defaced. When she's done she looks up at Etienne and RUfon with a little smile. "Shall we move on, then?"

her curse is haunted so she gets mage hand and ghost sound as bonus spells - that explains the 0 lvls... I will look at the 1st lvls now.. sorry in advance if I made a mistake.

In just a brief minute, the earthbreaker in Sjora's hands seems to reabsorb into her body and is gone. She slips into the cavern and looks around. She examines the book but has no knowledge of such things like the arcane and makes the assumption that it is either religious or arcane in nature.

"Can any of you make any sense of this book? Should we destroy it?"

Sjora looks to Etienne and Rufon, then sighs... holds out her hands and from them grows a huge battering weapon. She shrugs with a little smile and beats on the door with the Earthbreaker.
