Selene takes a moment to place her hand on the woman's shoulder before she went upstairs. She prayed as she donned her gear, returning to more of her traveling style. She then came down to place her habits with Ferona. "Please keep these for me. I shall return for them and wish them not to get lost. I trust and respect you Ferona. The Moon Maiden guided me her and she was not wrong for entrusting me to your care. I pray she keeps you and your kin safe, and that she blesses your house with all she can spare." Selene says coming back down in her scale mail, her shield, and holding her spear. On her head though remained her Coif, and about her neck was a scarf as the cleric wondered if she would need it should the weather turn sour. " May Selune blesses us and guide us. May she protect us and watch over us as we journey into the bog and seek the lost. Let us pray to find them and return them safely." She prayed again using now the common tongue instead of that she was accustomed to using.
Selene enjoys the smiles she receives from the child and then finally speaks. " We will do our best to find these goblins. Have faith, though the answers you hope to have may not be the ones you get I hope you get closures!" [
Selene helps Ferona with getting the woman settled in. As she does she then sits beside the woman and focuses on keeping the baby calm. as she does she hopes that Oskar and the others can talk to the mother. Selene listens as she does the little baby coos and giggles back entertaining the child. Selene was saddened she would never get to be a mother, at least of Bors and her children. Now she just wanted to make sure no one else suffered having a loved one slain in the night, by faceless thugs.
"Let us get you inside." Selene says as she looks to the others. "Let us help her up and get her and her child inside." Selene says to others. She literally held her hand out to the woman.
Selene rushes out holding up her skirts as she gets to the woman and begins to look her over as she does she speaks."Are you and your child alright?" Selene will try to assess the best she can first with a general once over and then digesting the overall look.
"Fear not, I am a servant of the Moon Maiden, you are safe with me and my friends" Selene will say after a moment to hopefully ease the woman's fears and anxieties.
Selene smiled as she felt that maybe with these Selune sent people, her husband's spirit and her own heart can be laid to rest. As Oskar speaks Selene nods. " I gave a detailed account to the watch and had a copy of what I had said. It is in my journal. If you'd like I can fetch it and show the page." Selene says with a sense of relief that another of her party wished to help her.
Selene gingerly took off her silver holy symbol from her neck. It was well forged and the detail was someone who did the project with love. the leather cord that held the symbol, was rough, but Selene untied it and slowly pulled the cord-free. "Bors' never got around to making a proper necklace and clasp for my holy symbol. A gift for our wedding. He knew how much the goddess was to me, and to show he understood, crafted it with the silver he had saved." Selenes' eyes began to tear up as she pulled off both rings. The silver bands were simple. One had a small hammer and chisel. This one was definitely sized for a man. The other had a little Cresent moon, one that was sized for her. Holding them up she was definitely letting tears fall down her lavender cheeks as she let the dwarf look at them. " Everything else of Bors they took. His tools, the raw silver, his money, even his belt knife. These are the only things I have left of him." The Nun then reached in to grab a kerchief and sniffled into it, before a sob came. Selene didn't let the sobbing last to long before she began to utter in some guttural language a few words and she seemed to muster up some resolve. "Sorry about that. It's just I miss him. We...were gonna come here and start a family" She admitted softly and somewhat distant as she stared at the symbol and then her rings. The whole thing was still painful. She honestly didn't know if she could find who did this to her husband, but if she could stop it from happening to another woman out there, then she would feel her crusade would not be in vain.
Seeing The Gnome come over and do that Selene laughed. It was comical, but also seemed earnest. Selene plays along and takes the card. " Thank you Mr.McKraken, I appreciate it. And yes my husband was working to buy a shop here to practice his trade. He was a silversmith. Some thugs targeted him and he died. And all he was clutching was his wedding ring." Selene pulled out her silver holy symbol and the rings that were on it. As she does one finger begins to track the ring and looked off forlornly.
Selene woke the next day and before anything cracked open her prayer book. The Tears of Selune, a Poetic Prose of Selene was a good read the writer or writers had a grasp of verse. The very flow was almost akin to Halfling verse with Dwarven liturgical phrasing. Though most thought it Elven, the subtle notes however truly showed that it was contrary to the belief. Once done with a few packages, Selene dresses and heads back down for breakfast. Her dress was very conservative, almost as if she had never left the abbey.
Inside Selene takes time to remove the armor and clean her weapons. She is meticulous. She cleans and sets the items to the side making sure they would be ready for the next time. She uses her Thaumaturgy to help clean and make them crisp and clean. After that, she will begin her evening prayers. Selene wants to find those responsible for her Husbands death.
Selene nods. " I well, I know now I will need more then just myself to find the one responsible for my husband's death" She says to the group with a bit of venom in her voice for the words ' One responsible'.
I have alot of Od&D to 3.5 on digital file. Also love Hackmaster for my 2e/1e needs As for Xp you could get xp for killing ants! And all manner of animals and insects and some plants I think like I said we repost everyone's in character goals and we can see what we can try and focus on.
Never ran or played in the Pool of Radiance. I am not as familiar with the Moon Sea Region outside Zentil Keep (thanks to the Dagger Dale Modules and the Zentil Keep Module) Would be interesting though.
"Oh sorry, I was just hoping you had something in your spell arsenal, cause I don't" Selene says as she steps forward and reveals her wounded chest. "If you are giving out healing I would love the assist" Selene says with a smile. She would look at his technique and who his god was?
"Healing magic! Interesting! I want to see your technique when you heal my wound, also if you have the magic, could you clean our Gnome too?" Selene says to Keefe as she was curious. In fact she wondered if he was a cleric who does the man worship?
"Mr.Grim I like that. Are you okay Mr.Grim? You seem a bit nervous about our gnome friend?" She asks as she looks past O'Leary to Grim. As she does she smiles wondering why the muscle. As she continues she watches the man, letting Oskar work on O'Leary."That aside it is a nice hat. Very dashing and handsome" Selene says with a smile showing her row of sharp pointed teeth.
Selene would look at the gnome and shook her head."You should execute your common sense. I know the Arcane is a cerebral art that requires a mind that is sharp but adaptive, and I have heard many an Arcanist tend to lock themselves away, but I had hoped a gnome of your intellect would be able to see the severity of such actions. You are almost like Sumyla the Sorceress of old, who focused too much on the art and craft and not enough on the day to day. So she found herself alone, with an experiment that lead to her death, no one was there to temper her brilliance, The flame burned to hot and she perished under it all!" She says hoping the gnome arcanist would at least show some more restraint.
Selene studies not O'leary, but the newcomer. With a decerning eye, she looks him over from the back.
As she watches them pass she looks up and looks to Oskar and Ispen "Should we maybe try and get him?" She says softly in a whisper. As she does she continues to look over to the scene with the gnome and the guards. " I once read a story about Alvediya the Alluring, a priestess of Selune who got caught in the Realm of Bane. She was naked and alone as she prayed eventually she was freed and allowed to take her revenge on the small outpost! It was glorious to read!" Selene relates to the others around her with a big smile.
Selene blinked and then released what Oskar was doing. She shifted her cloak to cover her wound. AS she did some of her locks fell free, deep lavender curls as she frowned. "His antics got my clothes and armor all dirty. I never thought this adventuring was this difficult. I mean look at my spear its scoffed! You'll be forced to polish it and mend my cloaks when we get home. I don't want the other wives to see my gear like this." Selene said trying to play herself off as a minor noble playing as an adventurer as many did.
"Master Reuleaux, I do not doubt the power of such a brilliant device, but often the best ideas come to those who bathe or sweat frequently. To think about all the time your brain has taxed itself with having to use that Pitblaster when a long soak brings visions of magic and devices that only appear on the fringes of your mind to the forefront in full view!!" Selene tells the inventor. She hoped he would find the wisdom in her words and maybe when he can take a nice long soak.
"We will determine that later. As for the information gathered we can piece that out. The first order of business is to get off the streets." Selene says as she lets the tip of her spear glow once more in the faint silver luminescence of the moons' glow
" wasn't your time, The Moon Maiden let me heal you. I take that as a sign the gods are not yet done with you Johnny. Not done with any of us." Selene said addressing Johnny with a warm smile. Though her sharp teeth showed she was trying to be warm and caring " Blessed Selune. May you guide these souls on to the afterlife. May they met the Diety they proclaimed soul arbiter of there soul. And thank you for allowing me to receive the gifts capable of helping my friends and allies from falling to the same date as another I once held dear." The priestess says as a quick Prayer for the fallen. It was a standard one in the older books about Chaplin duties. Seemed fitting so she said it with earnest passion.
" Sorry I am used to teaching novices and children. Sorry" She says with a bit of a blush coming across her face. Seeing the drink she shakes her head."I am not much a drinker. aside from an ale here or there or consecrated wine I tend to drink water, tea ,or milk"
'Agreed, do we still have the egg?" Aelene asks as she leans a bit more on her spear
Selene will look over everyone and begin to assess them the best she can, as she does she also will spit onto her hand and rub any grime off of there faces as if a mother to a child. "Let us bandage our wounds and see to getting ourselves back to the Tea House. We can finish up and sleep off most of the wounds" Selene says looking at her own wounds and wincing a bit. She could have died.

Selene shifted and readied a shift withdraw from her opponent when an arrow hit and dropped the thug who had struck her. Hearing that her companions outside were also in combat she spun and dashed out the door and stood right next to the wall to assess the battle
Seeing Johnny Boy fall Selene looked up to the moon. Bathing in the Goddesses Luminescent glow she speaks out."May the Mother's warm silver embrace envelope you and soothe your ailments, Be Healed in the Name of SELUNE, BE HEALED!" She called out and tendrils of silvery light wrapped about JOhnny Boys' broken and bleeding body. The healing energy washed over him.
After the Spell Selene will move back and over to better monitor her allies.
"Pitak!" Selene spits as she shifts to combat mode, her Shield up and spear point out. She though notes the pain and knows her limitations. She begins to step back her movements defensive as she hoped the other more combative members will aid her and Reulueax!
Though Flanking and getting Advantage is an Optional rule.
Selene hears this and her face grows a deep shade of purple."BOYOS! BOYOS! Have you insolent thugs never seen a WOMAN before!" she growls in anger as she turns and her eyes flash with light her mouth moving as she outstretches her hand and growls. "BY SELUNES' MIGHT, SACRED FLAME!" She spouts lashing out whisps of silvery light form beneath the thug [E13] and slivery fire spouts up in a brilliant bright moonlight!
Selene looked down at Reuleaux "It isn't the time or place for such examinations. Besides, there is a book of reference that espouses in detail a lot of things about dragons and dragon kind! It was through rough, gave a variety of directions of both chromatic and metallic dragons. It is a good read. I would assume most of your questions are answered with in." Selene continued, her voice getting excitable about the works and her general descriptions. Selene by this time has walked over and rests a hand on his shoulder. Leaning down so she can whisper she speaks. " Igamination comes once it is in our possession. Also no harm is to come to it it remains intact"
Selene softly speaks her voice husky. "I still think you look handsome with the long hair and mustache, Let us hurry up so this transaction can be done, and I can give you a personal reward. You'd didn't hire me just for my muscle" Selene says softly but so the others could hear. her face appearing over Oskars' left shoulder appearing to be all into the rogue. She hoped it was convincing enough for the thugs to believe her.
Selene walked, her body shifting with each step. creaks and clanks could be heard as she walked, as she was awkward in her armor. Selene seeing Rueleauxs' light smiled and touched the tip of her spear. A gentle prick of her finger let the blood dribble down feeding her spell as the metal tip flared to life. Pale Silver moonlight began to shine. The priestess stood slightly behind Oskar and spoke." I shall be back here. I can better observe and assist should anyone need healing or defense. If you need a job for me, Personal assistant is something I feel is believable? Though I am open to suggestions"
"Master Reuleaux, You are an Adult! Those are children, Apologize." Selene says coming over to place a hand on his shoulder as she smiles at him. "If you do I'll take a look at your equations and see if I can find any errors or solutions you don't see okay" The Tiefling says trying to be warm and comforting to the gnome in hopes he understands.

Selene was about to scold Reuleaux, when The halfling she had just dined with appeared with the group of the men and the woman. Selene stood straight up amd began to stride towards the group. She would back up these folks. Selene made sure she was ready her Spear and shield should she need it. The sister hoped to diffuse the situation with words, but should that fail she would fight to defend the woman and her companions.

No need to be flowery or poet just be honest and preferably not crass." The six foot almost six foot two inch tall tiefling woman said. She was tall and a little bit plump in places but it wasn't hard to see that Selene could be considered intimidating as well as alluring. The priestess looked around taking in the surroundings and looked at the other group and blinked. Is that woman in trouble? Are those men? Will I have to intervene?
