There's Battle Medicine which lets you do it with 1 action, but the default 2 action First Aid Action just stabilizes or stops bleeding, doesn't restore any HP.

The help actions from allies, take another look. Lieutenant's Oprak field medicine kit.

GM, I would like to suggest that Benkost using fire moves like Blazing Wave would give him either vastly lowered P. Cold recovery DC, or just end it instantly, due to the nature of his body shooting out literal burst of flame(the air around him would grow very hot, and cause the ice to melt).

Sorry about that. Ending the persistent damage for cold AFAIK is to roll a 15 or higher on the flat check. For bleed you can be healed to 100% but for most of the persistent it's either roll a 15 or wait 10 rounds. How would you have tried to lower the DC though?

Melt the ice covering one's arm. We have torches, so holding flame onto or near the icy patch would've done plenty.

Additionally, we have Benkost, who can use his kinesis to hold literal intense fire over the ice. I'd argue that doesn't merely reduce the DC, but possibly end the condition instantly depending on how it's used.

Also it's not a hard rule that it lasts 1 minute. It can be more or less depending on what seems fitting at the time.

I definitely didn't appreciate the way you handled the post-combat persistent damage btw. It seems particularly cruel to not give the party time to try and find ways to lower the recovery DC, or end the persistent damage immediately.

I'm assuming a lit torch can be used to counteract the persistent cold damage effectively.

This is a nudge to Benkost. I'm likely gonna have Claire draw a torch soon.

Considering moving Claire to the back of the line for party formation if someone wants to move up.

After the module so far, I have zero confidence she can do much of anything when an actual encounter starts.

I see that, and also that it is a high-tier table. I'm rather light on non 1st level characters. It's pretty much a guarantee i'd need a Level Bump. Do you know if any of the characters have a Mentor Boon?

Apologies, I realize I probably should have said as such.

Depending on what happens, I may still be able to bring a lvl 2 char with Protective Mentor. I'm waiting for confirmation on another entry.

Extremely hyped for this one. I'd been fretting recently over what i'm gonna do when the Abomination Vaults are finished. Now I don't have to worry about it!~
