what's in stock?:
Bio-implants, augmetics, servitor production equipment/implants (for the shop keep), mechadendeite parts, that kind of thing.

Sirus brings the kit to Josiah. "Here."
He then goes about assessing the contents of the store and seeing if this place is worth claiming. He could use a new shop to run his business out of.

Sirus glances at Shakes, but says, Somebody's likely to look in on this little rukus soon. Everyone knows the sound of gunfire, after all. We need to hold off the looters that come poking around if we are to gain anything from this little incident.
He starts moving around as he speaks in search of a medkit. Maybe behind the counter?

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus was just about to pull the trigger on his own lasgun when the shop owner suddenly ignites, just like the monster did...
He compares the experiences and can come up with only one identical factor: his new ally. He would need to have a chat with Shakes. Later.
For now, he shrugs at his employer's death and looks around. Looks like we just inhereted a shop. Is everyone ok?

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirius ducks behind the nearest cover and brings his weapon online.
Wha- Who shot first? Why?

Sirus is taken completely of guards as things devolve from a normal transaction to shots fired in less than ten seconds!

I'm still here. :)

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus takes the credits and stands back. He was curious what the two characters wanted, and besides, they had watched him deal. Turn about's fair trade.

75 to cover medical expenses incurred as a direct result of the job. Sirus counters.

If required, sirus helps count the ore. If not, he keeps both eyes on the merchant and counts the ore anyway. Gotta make sure it's right, after all.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus glances at the pair and sizes them up out of habit.
I could probably take the smaller one. That brute though...
He turns back to the shop keeper.
Friends of yours?

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

An associate. You never said I had to do this alone, after all.

Sirus plops the ore down onto the floor.

Your shortage is being caused by some kind of mutant infestation as far as I can tell. We got attacked while we were down there as well. I recommend a heavily armed, and armored, sweep of your operational area.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

For the first time Sirus actually grins.
"Credits, my newfound companion. Credits."

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

It's a vile process. Sirus hates that he has to maintain his feeble flesh, but such is his life. For now.
He hands over the credits and, still limping slightly, takes up his burden to go report to his employer.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus nods, but looks unconvinced of the reason for the flames. Thankfully, he doesn't push the issue.
"You're probably right. Let's see what I can get for 15 creds."

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

If treatment can be had for is than 15 creds then yes. I don't have a strong feel for the value of the currency yet.

As Sirus makes his way back (possibly via a medical plaza), something works is way through the pain. Something off. He asks,
"How do you suppose that thing burst into flame? It didn't look flammable and my shots didn't did it."

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

"I plan to turn it in for creds. Honestly, I'm flat broke and this is the only way to fix that situation. I'm actually looking for what has caused the regular shipments of this stuff to stop, but this should at least soften the blow if I fail."

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus limps along under his load of ore. His leg screams in pain. He put forth his utmost effort to ignore it.
"I have no idea what that was. This deep down you oftentimes don't.
My leg is damaged, yes. But I'll be fine. I really wish I could find a decent Medicaid Mechadendrite. Then I could fix myself up."

Shakes probably assumes he means he would heal himself. That's not what he means.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus grumbles to himself as he walks. The flesh was so weak. He really needs all of that extraneous crap replaced. He heads back toward the lift to get the ore somewhere secure.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus makes no move to pursue. Let's get this material to a secure location. At least I won't go back empty handed. I wonder if that manner of mutant monstrosity is the reason for the slowdown in shipments.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

My bad. Updated in a rush. I have 2 wounds left.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

The thing mauls Sirus's left leg.
Wounds gone. 1 critical to the left leg.

It then knocks the leg backward painfully and twists it to an awkward angle.
I suffer 1 level of fatigue.

If you could post the results of a test like that (possibly in a spoiler) it would be greatly appreciated. That way I know if I get to act and how I am affected if I can.

Sirus is completely thrown off by the appearance of the horrific creature.
"I would be happy to feed them to you, as soon as I get them replaced." Sirus offers in all sincerity. "But I haven't been able to do that yet, so you can't have them."

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

"Afirmative."
Siris tugs the sleeve of his robe up to reveal the business end of his lasgun.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Indeed. It's not every day you get something that effects 80+% of the market share.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

I would have done the same, man.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Shakes? You there, buddy?

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus isn't exactly thrilled to have to mine the stuff himself, but it was better than nothing.

Sirus pats his arm when the sound appears. It looks like a unconscious fidget. He's actually setting his hidden lasgun to overload.
Something's coming. What do you think? he says quietly.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Crap. Sorry. I completely forgot. Man, talk about starting a relationship of on the right foot.

I saw it going in that direction! he points, But it's probably gone now. Let's keep moving. Whatever it was, it was too fast for me. If it meant is harm it'll be back.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Not you, Him. Sirus points at the store owner.
And I saw it going in that direction. he points again.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus's mind almost instantly pulls up a list of things that could be small and green. It's an extensive list.
"Identify the green creature that just fled the area" he demands.

Sirus supresses a cough as they arrive. I've got to get my respritory system upgraded. This flesh goes haywire at the slightest thing. he thinks.
The state of the machines down here was downright offensive, which was to be expected, but still.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus nods. I was just told the same from this upstanding merchant here.
Very well. I accept your aid.

He looks back to the scrounging scoundrel and starts to stare at him while he waits for something fixable to emerge from the pile of scrap.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

A single eyebrow lifts a fraction of an inch. "You are waiting for death?"

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus turns to the shaking man. Trouble. If you have any information concerning a reduction in the regular deliveries of Adamantium uphive or are willing to assist me in my investigation into the same, say so. If no, go away.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus is a pretty unremarkable person in his fleshy bits. Average height, brown hair, and a bushy moustache are the only notable features. What made him stand out were his robes (slightly worn) and his Utility class mechadendrite.

He regards tree shaking man with the neutral mask that is the hallmark of the Admech.
73% chance birth defects, 20% chance traumatic or neurological disruption to nervous system, 7% chance warp corruption. he concludes and turns back to his business.

awareness vs 11: 1d100 ⇒ 96
tech use vs 66: 1d100 ⇒ 73

Sirus scans the pile and doesn't see anything right away. Maybe if he scrounged around he could find something, but he didn't feel like spending that kind of time here.
I said I would repair an item for you, not sort through your scrap. he says without inflection.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Increased disappearances was worrying. That almost always led to instability in the local markets, which meant reduced tech availability. He didn't have enough data to extrapolate what may be coming, but anything from an Imperial Tithe to a gang war was possible. Normally he would like to move to a more stable region, but he didn't have the resources this time.

Point me in the right direction and I'll fix one item of your choice free of charge up to 15 cred.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Ouch. I'm sorry. Don't worry, I was just checking in.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Uhhh. Boss? Everything ok?

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus is momentarily jealous of the augmented eye. Sucn an upgrade would be his eventually, but nice things required credits. He sighs inwardly and approaches the vile little man. A quick glance at the thing he was working on was enough to dismiss it as scrap so he ignored the man's clumsy attempts to repair it.
Sirus, true to form, dispenses with introductions. "I need information. The adamantium suppliers down here are behind their quotas. I'm here to collect."

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus stores the information away and does his best to avoid the sickly folk. It would not do for his biological components to become incapacitated.
He makes his way to a dealer he's known before, a shady fellow with shadier connections, but he was effective and informed and that was good enough for Sirus.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Your posting load should go down once we meet up. Good job keeping up so far!

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sounds good. :)

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus keeps his hood up, his eyes open, and his mechadendrite obvious. 95.6% of the time his perceived association with the Ad-Mech kept him safe. This was not 95.6% of the time, so he didn't trust it now. He had the equivalent of a M36 lasgun strapped to his arm and hidden, but that would be of little use against more than a single assailant.

A Heretek and an unsanctioned Psyker. This should be fun.

You may want to post in recruitment and remind them. Most people don't peek into the other tabs of the campaign until told to do so.

Wounds:5/12 Crit 0 | Fate 3/3 | Currently: fatigue0 | insanity 0 corr 15

Sirus nods. Deadline?
Naturally he, whoever he was, would charge for basic equipment. Not for the first time, Sirus wishes he had a more robust mechadendrite to work with. Soon. He would expand his capacities as soon.

He takes the details and heads back to his lair to make sure he had everything. He does. It's actually hard not to have everything. He's been here for what feels like ages and the only addition he's made is the decent sword at his hip. He sighs and sets off for the deepest levels of the Hive. Time to go see why the Twists are keeping their metal from the Man.
