If you clicked on this thread, you are either excited to see all sorts of new games in Kansas City or just reading through all the cool threads. I'm assuming the former.

There is a serious lack of Pathfinder Games in the Kansas City area. I need YOU to help make a difference! Beginning in March there will be at least two Pathfinder games a week and a whole day of Pathfinder on Saturday!

That's a lot of games and I need players to play in these games!
I can't run tables for gnome statues. They are terrible at filling out their chronicle sheets.

If you are interested in playing or judging, please send me an e-mail (SBrummond@gmail.com) or post below. I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Greetings fellow Pathfinders!

You are seated in front of the ocular display unit with a message from Venture Captain Sir Ma'Layo (AKA Seth Brummond - SBrummond@gmail.com) with an urgent message.

Starting 12/8/2011 and repeating every other Thursday, I will be performing a ritual with several willing participants where we will sit down at a table in a building and pretend to be people we aren't, roll some dice, role play some dice, and have a great time.

Please be present at Pulp Fiction Comics and Games.
(1100 SE Blue Pkwy, Lee's Summit, MO 64063)

I will also be running infrequent (once a month) games at other locations throughout the Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS area. If you have requests, please send your scrolls to the e-mail address listed above. It will be a great time!

I travel to many different conventions and find myself organizing or GMing at them. Here's some advice I can give to GMs who are traveling to a con. If this is repeated elsewhere, I'm sorry.

1) Read the mod. Read it before you get there and again at the con before you run the game. Reading the mod before you get there allows you to do the following.

2) Prepare the encounters. I note the encounters, monsters, and traps. I set aside monster figs that I know I'm going to use for a particular encounter and keep them ready. One way to organize is to use ziplock bags with post-it notes or note cards noting the encounter.

3) Prepare the maps. I either draw them out ahead of time and move a book to 'reveal' the map to pcs or (recently) shell out $0.75 for a black and white rendition of the map at the local Fed-ex. Drawing the map saves on precious time.

4) Prepare the certs. Sign everything on the bottom.

5) Know your GM number, know the event code, and write your name legibly on the paper in case a player has questions.

6) Have fun. What's the point running a game if you aren't going to have fun? Don't turn off the next greatest GM because you are having a bad day.

Hello!
I use a document that accesses the PRD when I game. I own several Pathfinder books. Unfortunately, when I attend conventions, I don't want to carry around 20 pounds worth of books. Instead, I carry around an iPhone and iPad. Is there any way the new books/play testing material be accessible on the PRD?
I would like the following documents: Ultimate Combat, Ultimate Magic, and Bestiary 2.

Thanks!

I play a level 8 alchemist in a home brew setting that barely deviates from the core PFS rules. (We level at a slower progression basically.)
How do I become a better party member? Or more importantly, how can I assist other party members? I don't want to take the spot light with my damage dealing, and I have.

How I try my best:

I have precise bombs, frost bombs, and fast bombs. I have the trait to get me a 5% reduction in brewing potions, but no party members have expressed an interest. Outside of combat, I am the knowledge guy and craft(Alchemy) guy.

In combat, I fly, hasted, and fast bombs until the enemies stop moving. I'm doing tons of damage and the party makes quick work of most encounters with three precise bombs per turn from the flying Alisto.

TL;DR: How do I stop taking the spotlight and become the guide on the side?
