Son of Sir Balin of Karfeld, Male Human
Sir Eldon makes his way to Beatrix's body, but as he does, suddenly a flurry of attacks strike him. Aedorn sends an arrow flying his way, but alas it deflects off his armor. His movement to shield himself opens him up to a viscious strike from Morthos, a deadly blow to his side barely averted from a mortal one. Tatya hexes the knight to further hinder him to open him up to two more arrows from Aedorn, one finally striking true, as well as another blow from Morthos. Yet after this flurry, the knight still stands. Surprise Round Inish

Sir Eldon is caught completely unaware. You each get a surprise action, as well as a first round action before he goes. Lucky! Surprise Round Inish

Opening the doorway beyond stands the man who claims to be Sir Eldon, a claim reinforced by his attire. Dressed in fine plate armor, Sir Eldon also wields a large shield strapped to his left arm, and a longsword in his right, the blade at first raised as you enter. Seeing the sight before him, he lowers the blade. "Ah, good. I had thought you may yet be an Asmodean, attempting to lure me into a relaxed state. I am Sir Eldon. And how may I call you sir gnome?" As you enter and Sir Eldon lowers his guard somewhat, you notice on his neck a pendant, silver and sapphire, in the middle of which is inscribed the symbol of Iomedae. An impressive symbol to the Inheritor. Bostarg:
You sense from the man that he is indeed still wary, though the wariness of one who is always on guard. You also sense your song has not enraptured the knight. I've adjusted people on the map, if it's not quite fitting, feel free to move. Dice: Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12 Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

"Indeed, captured and imprisoned, though left with armor and blade. A foolish choice, I would expect more from Asmodeans. Do you think you can manage to find a way to open this portal? I ask that you do not unnecesarily endanger yourselves to free me though, if you can escape, take the chance."

A voice calls back through the doorway, "Friend or foe I know not without knowing the nature of the one who calls out to me. If you walk the path of righteousness under Iomedae's gaze, then indeed I shall call you friend. I am Sir Eldon, Knight of the Alerion Order." Knowledge (Nobility) DC 15 or Alazandaru: Sir Eldon is the son of Sir Balin of Karfield, and honorable knight of the Alerion Order. He is quite skilled in the art of swordplay and a devout follower of Iomedae, near fanatical in his beliefs.

"I did indeed have a Silver and Sapphire Holy Symbol dedicated to beloved Iomedae. A rather expensive piece I might add, though I can't recall if you made the appraise roll on it or not. There was also another one in the room with the stairs to the east and the secret door. Laying on a pedastel. Though I don't actually know that bit of information, so probably shouldn't be telling you."

As Sir Eldon makes to rise, our villains lay into him. Shulme digs his spear deeper into his should, but Sir Eldon grabs at it, pushing him away. Teon comes in, digging into the same shoudler with his fangs, causing obvious pain to the knight. He brings up his shield to smash it into the area of Teon's neck when the Draugr commanded by Xanos comes in with it's axe causing the knight to pull back, a deep gash as the plate armor buckles underneath the force of the strike. His akward twist opens his back up to Cain, the advantage given and his Falchion digs deep into his back, opening yet another wound. The knight is still not fallen, preparing to launch his own attack, yet sluggish from blood loss as Shulme comes back in with his spear, penetrating the opend gash in Sir Eldon's armor, who finally succumbs to his wounds. The knight falls to the ground, bleeding. Heal DC 10:
Sir Eldon is unconsious, bleeding, but still aways from death Hope you don't mind me taking a few liberties with the descriptive post there.

Shulme charges into the room, sinking his spear deep into Sir Eldon's should. The Knight clenches his teeth, ignoring the pain of the wound as he fixes his gaze upon the oracle. Round 1

The door opens to reveal a man, a tabard bearing the symbol of a Knight of the Alerion Order. Attired in full plate mail, bearing a longsword in one hand, a heavy shield in the other, dangling from his neck is a fantastic holy symbol to Iomedae, composed of silver and sapphire. Seeing him dressed in full armor and attire, the resemblance to Sir Balin is quite visible in his face, his features, his stature. As the door is opened, he takes one look upon your group, hate burning in his eyes as he recognizes several amongst you. "In the name of Iomedae and the Knights of the Alerion Order, I demand the lot of you throw down your arms and surrender immediately. Foolishness in resistance will be met with steel!" There is no jest as he speaks. Price & Cain:
You recognize this man. He was one of the loyal cultists who worked with you. From what you can recall, he displayed skill with a sword. He often was skittish at time about some of the tasks you performed, thinking at the time he had not fully settled on being a cultist. Reflecting back now, he had been on guard patrol at the time of Sir Balin's attack. Teon:
This is the man who captured you, clearly remembering his face. This is indeed the son of Sir Balin. A Knight of the Alerion Order, Sir Eldon. Round 1
