On a dark and desolate winter night when the moon was full a small, pale baby with lightly pointed ears was left upon the doorstep
of the venerable wisewoman Caitlyn. Both revered and a little feared Caitlyn had never married and took the appearance of this alfkinder as a gift from the Earthmother and quickly took to raising her as her own. The baby girl, Siobhán soon grew into a healthy child, displaying a few 'unnatural' talents that hinted further to the fact that she may not be entirely human.
Whilst Caitlyn fostered and taught the young foundling the locals grew supersticious of the strange child with her pale hair and eyes and features more youthful than her years and either payed her too much attention (sure that her very touch could heal) or hid away from the obviously unnatural child. As such Siobhán had no real friends save for her adoptive mother and the books they kept but it didn't bother her in the slightest, she adapted well and kept a sweet temperment.
Not long after Siobhán's 20th birthday her adoptive mother passed away of natural causes leaving her utterly alone and to fend for herself. Having learnt well under Caitlyn the half elf quickly became self-sufficient and despite physically appearing to have only just entered her teenage years in body she soon prooved to the members of the local village that she had learnt well under Caitlyn, she was older in mind and perfectly willing and able to take on the responsibilities of the previous wise woman. She has worked in this role for over a decade since and whilst some locals are still very untrusting of the mysterious woman they turn to no other for wisdom.
