Perfection made flesh, his body was one that many would die to have or to hold. His looks were otherworldly, his powerful build betrayed his great strength, the delicate scales on his shoulders and forearms spoke of something other than just celestial blood running through his veins. His right hand ended in talons akin to those of a dragon and his right forearm was far more heavily scaled as well. He also had a white, jagged scar that ran over one eye, luckily though his eye wasn't damaged. He has no body hair as well, the scar was the only thing that marred his perfect form. He often moved around in light clothes that allowed him freedom of movement and openly wore a crusaders cross with nothing written on it. Staring often into the distance, in the direction of the worldwound. The place where he lost his memory.
Background:
Sine Nomine, Celestial for Nameless, was found injured in the worldwound at a young age during the second Crusade. After he had been healed it was later discovered that he had lost his memories. Before he had reached the city of Kenebras the crusaders Preist had healed his physical wounds, which inadvertently prevented them from later restoring his memories. As the physical injury that had caused it was gone. His Crusader cross was the only identifying item on his person, yet it was strangely blank when made whole through magic. With nothing further to go on the investigation about who he was eventually went cold. He had been undergoing training when the Third Crusade began and was troubled with how it ended in disgrace. The Fourth Crusade however troubled him far more... During the Fourth Crusade he ran afoul of the Inquisition, unable to stand aside while they committed heinous acts on innocent folk. He had the ability to see evil which forced him to stand up for those wrongly accused. When his words fell on deaf ears he drew steel in the defense of the innocent, he lost but it wasn't in vain. Despite being a sword of Iomadeae it won him no mercy. He was quickly judged, soon to face the gallows until Terendrev stepped in, few could match the ancient silvers voice when it came for speaking on Sine's behalf. Why she had saved him he didn't know, he has always been grateful though and frequently sought her advice when she was available. Even after the fourth crusade he has remained in Kenebras, growing into a Crusader and Sword of Iomadae, he does what he can to heal the sick and weary while protecting them from the terrors that crawl out of the Worldwound. Often volunteering his time for free along with his divine services. However he is a haunted man, he can't shake the feeling he is forgetting something important and he has dreams... Dreams of falling, dreams of pain but it's all blurred and fractured, so disjointed that it was too difficult to make out or understand. He often wrote what he saw in a journal he kept on his person, hoping that perhaps if he wrote it down that it would help him make sense of the chaos. However the clearer some of it becomes, the more confused he becomes as to the truth of his origin. He felt the urge to return to the Worldwound, to find what he lost, to seek what was missing in his life...
The Real Story of Sine Nomine.:
Sine Nomine was once known as Tel'Aradoth Silverborn, he was an elf original born in a village that lay within Sarkoris. Born long before the Worldwound's appearance he had a twin brother, Tev'Aradoth and only his mother as his surviving parent. His father had been killed years before by barbarians. His mother's profession was Yeoman and they made a comfortable enough living off of that. He found love at a young age with a half elf named Selandra. This freckled face girl lit up his world and they were inseparable. They played together, they ran off into the woods together, everything seemed to be pointing towards a long and happy relationship. That was until the time the Worldwound hammered its way into the world and the horrors that spewed forth ruined their lives forever. However their time together instill in him a devoted spirit and a caring mentality like no other. She was truly the one for him. That was until the demons attacked their home enmass, they were far too numerous to be contained and those that weren't torn apart were dragged away. He saw his mother torn apart by demons while him and his twin brother were dragged off to face a fate worse then death. However they weren't permitted to die, they were brainwashed into servitude with the cult of Baphomet. After being converted they became completely devoted to the cult and worked to discredit and destroy its enemies. Namely a group known as Riftwardens that had newly formed to combat the threat the Worldwound posed on the world. However his brother and him were very effective in discrediting the Wardens, something they delighted in as soldiers of Baphomets faithful. They were also greatly rewarded for their services, it was during this time that the twins became established Sorcerors and warriors of baphomets faith despite their young age.. However the Cults lies started to unravel at the seams when, on a solo mission, the young elf stumbled across a lone Crusader. Eagerly he set upon them with spell and blade, swiftly defeating the warrior but before he could strike the final blow their helm fell off. Laying before him was a freckled face half-elf and his heart lurched in his chest for the first time in years. His mind was flooded with images long forgotten of a pretty girl he loved once and the terrible death his mother had suffered. So instead of delivering the final blow he let her live, bandaged her wounds and took from her a momento. Her Crusader Cross, as he turned his youthful wrath on the cult of Baphomet. He sought out one of the safehouse and systematically destroyed the cultists there. Using his ability to transform into a partial dragon and using his claws made the cultists no match for the prodigal sorcerer. He destroyed a couple of their safe houses, reducing them to ashes before being confronted by none other than his brother along the canyon of Screams. It was there the pair fought and ultimately Tel'Aradoth lost. Weakened by numerous injuries he was unable to battle effectively and was pushed back until he plummeted over the cliffside. He fell, he fell a long. Long time.... He saw a bright light, brighter then ever before and when he awoke he was different then before...
