Nerele at first looks confused at the question. After a short bit she smiles though and gives a small shrug. "Starsong has given me a gift, a talent that I can make use of. Times come where others have need of this talent - when wounds strike them or sickness claims them. I provide relief and succor where I can. In exchange I am supplied with the physical needs... food, warmth, shelter." She pauses, gesturing at the building around you. "What is needed to survive. Still I wander and search and explore, learning of the land about and seeking what there still is to be found, but always have this place to return to and these people waiting for me." She smiles and cants her head slightly to the side. "Curious. What has your lady asked of you, so different from my own?"

I suppose I have been asked much the same, save that rather than sending tasks to me, my Lady has shown me evil and given me the will to oppose it. Never have been called to a single place, but instead to have a friend and to follow where he leads. I know little of returning, only travel. No place has ever called for my return.

May I ask what other lands and people you have known?

removing his coat as the room warms up

Pardon me if I speak akwardly- I'm not used to the presence of beautiful women.

I know little of the duties of someone such as yourself- how to minister to a community. All that Shelyn has asked of me has been of another nature. What you do may be a higher calling. How do you deal with the spiritual needs of others?

After quite some time of waiting, you are at last intruded upon in your silent vigil. A young girl who looks to be in her early twenties, only about five feet and a shave tall and bundled up in a heavy parka that looks far too big for her but very warm, enters the building and gives a slight gasp when she sees you. She quickly recovers her composure with a slight giggle, however, and brushes back her hood.

There are three rather striking things about the young woman at first glance. The first is that her cheeks and the space just under her eyes are decorated in intricate tattoos that seem to shift in color depending on the angle you view them at. The second is that her eyes look to be the same color, shifting as well depending on how the light strikes them. The third is that though she looks quite young, her hair is stark white. Her ears have a slight curve and come to points, marking her as a half-elf... you think.

"Good morn to you stranger," she says with a lilting laugh after a few moments of observing you in silence. "Welcome to my shrine. I am called Nerele. What brings you to my lady's abode?"

Sindri bows and smiles

Good morning, Mistress. I am Sindri. Pardon my intrusion in this place, but I could't pass up meet'n you. I, too have been called by the gods to service, though it was the call of Shelyn I heard.

It is my habit to visit the shrines I pass and talk to the keeprs in each. Do your duties allow time for such?

Sindri waits patiently to meet Nerele, wondering what his new friends are doing. And checking out the door for smoke clouds that might indicate if his partner is in trouble.

He'll stay till early afternoon, then, if Nerele hasn't come by, head to the general store (?) to pick up iron rations.

Sindri takes a moment to appreciate the simple, yet sturdy and beautiful construction, remembering the community effort that built it. Then he takes a seat on the floor in front of the candle and begins thanking his goddess for all the beauty he has seen in the world.

He will wait for Nerele, the priestess to return.

I'll spend some time scratching Pierson's ears after breakfast. Then I'll mention I'm planning to go visit Nerele, the priestess at the local chapel. Anyone want to come with me? I'll also ask her what she knows about this Orran Grimnuckle and his job offer.

edit : I'll cover the cost of breakfast of whoever lets me.

Not to complain- I can go for days with in character small talk, but if its bothering any of you , Let's just assume we spend the morning getting to know each other. We can post an out of character summary of what we would say about ourselves.
Variel and I have some errands to run in town. He wants to visit the alchemist and I want to visit the priest at the chapel. should we split up for a while, then send some of us to see about the job on the notice?

speaking to his table mates as well as the newly full table next to them

We're new to town too. Just got in yesterday. Was the best day's sleep I've had in weeks. Sure is a pleasure to have a fresh bed and someone else's cookin. No offense, Variel.

spoken perhaps too loudly but with good cheer as he enters the common room.

Variel:
Let's say we arrived yesterday morning, arriving before the caravan. Since then, we've been asleep in a shared room at the grizzly ( unless you wanted other company). The morning noise has finally woken us up and we are getting ready to go downstairs for fresh food- I'm out of iron rations from the trip here.
Do you wish to visit the alchemist we've heard is here or not?
I'll want to stop by the shrine when the priest is there.

Mornin' all.

Looking out at the recent snowfall

Isn't it a beautiful day? Just about perfect weather to kill a giant!

Proflie -might- be complete.

Most, but not all background details added for Orthos' use. Otherwise, profile is a work in progress. I should be able to finish up monday night.

Meet the basics of Sindri, scrappy and cheerful cleric of Shelyn.

Take two on Igore.

I like this much better than Igor. He was an attempt to make a solo class sorcerer, which PrimeMover003 did much better than i did. Igore is a brute with the -feel- from his bloodline I was looking for. He is not a primary spellcaster, but he should work well. At level one, a barbarian works, at level two he gets sorcerer bloodline, and from then on he is set. Major weakness is a low ac, but he has hp's. Also, if you cannot add grave touch (a melee touch) to his gauntlet punch, I would switch his feats to Imp. Unarmed combat and Improved grapple. Some magic protection and such and I'll be good. As he levels, he alternate barb and sorc, so at higher levels he'll have more spells and a harder punch.

What do you think?

What I have learned is that for me, sorcerer is not a single class character. I'm too attached with the utility of having as many spells as I can learn, as soon as I can learn them to play the sorcerer as only a spell caster. But I must say that I like the way he multi-classes. Igore fits my test build requirements. Yet again, Pathfinder has provided me with a character that is, rather than is heading to a prestige class.

My wishes for sorcerer?
-Bonded item- possiblity allowing me to use for touch spells instead of additional casting
-more spells known (use int stat to provide more known spells as per bonus)
-more skill points and more skills (but that will always be true)- I would like to give each bloodline some class skills, at least the ones they could get skill focus for
-more in the way of higher level bloodline powers- These don't make me crave them
- to get a look at the feats enhancing sorcerer and barbarian I know will be seen eventually
-A polymorph to undead spell on par with the other polymorphs

But I don't -need- these things- Igore Proudfoot already works. THANK YOU, PAIZO FOLKS! -niel
