From the latest rule for Arcane Archer: http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/coreRulebook/prestigeClasses/arcaneArche r.html

It seems the race limitation is removed from the "requirement" section but there is still some text about "elf/half-elf" in 'alignment' section:

"Alignment: Arcane archers can be of any alignment. Elf or half-elf arcane arches tend to be free-spirited and are rarely lawful. Similarly, it is uncommon for elven arcane archers to be evil, and overall the path of the arcane archer is more often pursued by good or neutral characters."

So to be clear, does it mean only Elf or half-elf could become Arcane Archer ?

Could I buy masterwork weapon/amor in any village/town? (if I have enough gold) , DM said masterwork could not be bought, you have to get it by looting, roll or forge. Is it true?

I just start a new character with 900 gold . I purchased a composite longbow with strength rating as +3, but DM didn't allow it because he thought this is a magic item which requires "craft magic item" feat and at least 3*2 CL level to create.

Actually there are several questions here:

1. Could I buy any initial weapon (including magic item) as long as I have enough gold?
2. If answer for question 1 is no, could I buy any masterwork item or composite longbow with Str as long as I have enough gold while building a new character?
3. Is composite longbow with Str regarded as magic item indeed ? if it is not, could I buy it at any small town as long as I have enough gold? If it is a magic item, is there any restriction to buy it?
4. Could I buy and use any magic item even if I didn't have "craft magic item" feat ? Do I have to have some certain character levels to use some advanced magic item?
