The little pseudo dragon pops his head out from behind the dwarfs head, holding onto the back of his neck guard.
☆Some pretty shiny's friend/mount Duncan. You promised a hoard for brave Silf you did.☆

Duncan pats the Pseudo dragon,
Ain't forgot ye, Buddy.
He looks back to the dwarf with a shrug.
Me little dragon friend needs a bed. 20 gold outta the value o the tools if ye could.

The little dragon flaps off Duncan's shoulder and squeezes through the gap they have already made and finds a high perch near the door, ready for a quick escape.

Ok, friend/mount/Duncan. Silf is used to funny smells from being locked in too tight cages with other familiar creatures wizard slaver kept. Did not clean often. Duncan was Very ferocious. Silf thinks Duncan makes a great warrior against big enemies but Duncan WAS hurt. Should Duncan wear better armor perhaps?}}

The little dragon flaps down to his ally once more and resumes his customary perch.

The small PseudoDragon stands on his hind legs on Duncan's shoulder and cranes his neck to be as tall as possible on his perch, which is to say about eye level with a tallish human.
He mentally projects to everyone but is regarding Torvald,{{Silf IS a mighty small dragon! Fierce Duncan is Silf's mount in battle. Good friends. Duncan and Silf are nice but Fierce. You got any shiny's fer Silf's hoard, Mister Dwarf? Or meat? Silf is Hungry and Silf riding Duncan DID save you from Man/Bear thing.}}

Duncan pats the companion and speaks in dwarven, which Silf did not understand,

The pseudo dragon had some difficulty clinging to the stamping dwarf and resolved next time to simply fly overhead and assist where he could.

The little raptor shrieks at the living Maiden's and flaps up to a perch in the next room, while Graxer questions.

The pterosaur chirrups at his masters instructions and wheels overhead near the ceiling, baring his fanged beak and not taking his eyes of the prone Grey Maiden ready to alert his master should she attempt to flee or attack again.

The little dragon sat on the Dwarfs armored shoulder, his claws digging into the leather covered pauldrons and tail wrapped in a single loop around his owners armored collar.

The tiny dragon puffs up at his proclamation. A bit eager perhaps.



I've been running campaigns in a homebrew setting since D&D 2nd ed, but converting to the new systems (2 => 3 => 3.5 => PF1) was pretty simple. I downloaded the playtest rules a couple of days ago, and this new system seems like it is going to be a little more complicated to convert.

The homebrew setting has a few quirks about it: some custom races (and the elimination of some of the standard races), a bit of custom magic with some high level custom mechanics thrown in, and a very different implementation of deities and divine based casting.

The setting is very low-fantasy, with most of the goals oriented around political, social, and economic conflict rather than "good vs. evil" high fantasy concepts.

What I'd like is some insight into where to start. I have hundreds of npcs, locations, and settlements to convert, dozens of spells to convert, and 4 entire races to rebuild from the ground up.

Keep in mind that I'm just now learning the rules, but any insight would be appreciated.
