As a self appointed spokesman for the greatest race, I have to say no.

My gaming group has switched to PF for over a year now, maybe close to two, and we still call it "DND" when we're discussing it with other people. Like, we say "Are we playing DND on Friday?" instead of "Are we playing Pathfinder on Friday?" I also notice that when I stick PF games into my schedule, I type "DND." My wife still calls it DND.

Anyone else notice the same thing? Note for the sake of discussion, nobody I've talked to bothered playing DND4thED.

As long as there are halflings involved....it is called awesome....

Pizza King is the single greatest experience in pizza, and steak and shake rocks as well....Halflings from West Lafayette Indiana invented both of them....In fact we invented most forms of snack food,,,,except for anything that says Kiashi on it....that is demon thinking...I think that poser a$$ Gnomes came up with that.

All I know is that they aviod halflings....it's ok because most monsters have a self preservation instinct.....

Why are halflings so overburdened with looks personality and awesome combat prowess?

A true book of good only needs one entry...Halflings...good in any way that you can think of.....

It can't be evil....you see according to the "Halflings are the Savoirs of all realities" sourcebook, this happens all the time....Halfling beauty has the effect of a charm spell and then when we do as we always do and completely devistate in combat,any emeny that has witnessed our deific visages were charmed and then dead...yet we are still the ultimate paragons of good....the example that all good races aspire to.

The "Halflings are Eternal" sourcebook states that goblins have the height right, they are plagued by the lack of a halflings eternal beauty and angelic aspect. It's ok, nobody (except halflings of course) is perfect.

Must once again open the hallowed pages of the Halflings rule all and eternal sourcebook:

Halfling don't generally need to have a recorded Armor Class, they are nigh untouchable, in addition to being immortal and god-like...which is to say that gods are halfling-like.....sometimes I just have to sit back and take a minute, our overwhelming greatness takes a little while to process...there is ALOT there.

In the Halfling O.G. Pimp handbook a death attack is defined as any attack made by a halfling.....You can try and kid yourself but you know you fear the knee cap thrust!

Two weapon fighting? I would like to once again reference the "Halflings dadgum rock" rule. Which basically states that Halflings rock with both hands....(get your mind out of the gutter).

I would just like to reference the "Halflings are the bomb-diggity" rule.....we really do rock when you stop and think about it....I just don't want anyone who isn't a halfling to feel bad about not being born a halfling...it probably isn't your fault that the Gods just don't like you.

Even the most depraved necromancer hesitates to create Halfling zombies....many would think it was a size thing...it isn't...it is a style issue....Halflings are simply too damn pretty to zombify.

But to get back on topic, Dungeon Master may have been a good guy, but he was (to me) terribly creepy. I think it was those sideburns...

That wouldn't be a bad game plan, but you might want to think more outside the box. That one hasn't been a game changer for quite some time.

Actually she did say that...it made me sad.

I think he was jerkling them around personally......and I think that the cartoon was written by a pro-human political organization: Halflings were definately(as usual) woefully under represented.....

And don't give the LoTR arguement either.......Eliah Wood? come on....why couldn't they shrink down Vin Diesel to play Frodo? or Jason Stathem to play Samwise?

I can't help you with the stats but Venger kicked ass. The other characters were whiners.....except Bobby the barbarian they should have let him smash more stuff.....Dungeon Master was screwing with them the whole time.

It was a good time....while I feel the halfling community was woefully under-represented, it was still a lot of fun.

I would really like to see a Gazetteer. I am really amped by the way Paizo does business and the Pathfinder game is awesome! The folks in my game group have a "setting" we play in that we would love to "port" into the Pathfinder setting............ and multiple choice were always my favorite kinda tests!
