Sh'torek nods to Nthanda as she manages to heal up some of his wounds. "Thank you." He then draws his own weapon as Nthanda then warns of the possible signs of the broken coconuts.

As the healing energies flow through the Undine, Sh'torek feels rejuvenated as he continues fighting, to engaged to even realize why.

Profession (sailor): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Sh'torek will aid Victoriana as much as possible on the ship; finding out that even that will not be near enough.

As Plugg orders them to retrieve fresh water, Sh'torek looks to Dhugal and nods. "I could not agree more, Dhugal. Anywhere but here has to be a far better place."

"Looks like we're in for trouble. I don't think Mr. Plugg is following the captain's orders. If he's heading where I think he is, he might be planning to replace half the crew with meaner pirates, and that means up. So, who else on this boat can I trust?"

Snake glances around before responding to Victoriana. "Boldwin, Dhugal, and Ambrose. They are the only ones I trust. There are others I believe they've turned to our cause, but we shall see."

Black Dhugal wrote:
Dhugal does the minimal amount of work necessary to avoid drawing the attention of the officers. During quiet moments he seeks out Boldwin, Sh'torek and Ambrose, "We need to take control of this ship. Plugg is steering towards Bloodcove, not Port Peril. That can't be good news for us. Let's recruit others to our cause."

Sh'torek's eyes narrow. "Then we shall take control. If we are headed to Bloodcove, then that will be Plugg's final destination," he vows.

Nthanda wrote:
She does seek out Sh'torek, Dhugal, Boldwin, and Ambrose during the few minutes of communal mess-- in hushed tones over ship's biscuits and watery soup, she asks them how each of them came to be on the Man's Promise, and from where they hail originally.

"I left home to try my hand at sailing. I was finding the experience to be fascinating. I learned a great deal from the different ships I was working on. Although, none were pirate ships until this one. I was taken by surprise just before going for a swim. I was knocked out and I woke up on the ship that attacked you and the others. That is it."

Trying to get something in there for now. Probably mid next week before some "normalness" arrives. Sorry.

Nthanda rubs her burned hands one against the other, and continues to speak quietly to the tall stranger. "I am hearing your words, maqi. Some in this world are deserving of bad fate. Though our fates were set anyhow, I am thanking you, that your turned your blade away from death."

Sh'torek listens intently to the the gnome's words and remains silent, acting casually. But then as she slanders him and storms off, he looks to Nthanda stoically. "She is quite convincing," he states as a matter of fact.

Having no desire to take part in any celebration, Sh'torek keeps to himself as he is relieved to find some time to rest and not have to worry about tasks. At least it is a small reprieve.

Anger rises within with the tossing of the sailor overboard, but Sh'torek manages to keep his calm. One day... he vows through narrowed eyes at the Captain.

After the Captain's speech, a small drop of hope enters into Sh'torek, thinking this is the moment he's been waiting for. The Captain will not be on this ship? This is the chance I have hoped for. Scourge and Plugg will soon pay. One way or another, either they will both be dead or I will.

Nthanda wrote:

On the Man's Promise, she looks around for the pirate-that-hadn't-wanted-to-hurt-anybody.

"There is little room for being kind, on with pirates," she says cautiously.

Sh'torek looks to the woman a moment as if trying to discern her intentions. Leaning in a bit, "I will never kill just for the simple fact of killing, EXCEPT, for those like them," he says with obvious venom as his eyes dart toward Plugg and Scourge. "Those lives I will not hesitate to end... or at least die trying." He then leans back out, his eyes still fixed upon her for a moment before finally looking away. Now, we shall learn...

As the main threat to the barbarian falls, Sh'torek's breathing begins to return at a normal rate as he turns his attention to the now fleeing pirate. Just as he raises the dagger to take one last strike, he remembers the warning by the captain on the punishment for killing another pirate. Deciding to let Maheem go, he turns to Sly. He immediately bends down and pulls her out of the water. "Don't die," he tells the unconscious body, hoping she still lives. He then carries her back upstairs in an effort to find Sandara. If she dies, then so do I.

Passing on the AoO. Will attempt to take Sly and find Sandara. Hopefully she isn't already dead or bleeds to death.

This is all based on the assumption that Maheem keeps running. If he stops and decides to attack again, then there's no way I can do all this in one round. And then my action will change.

I know you mentioned we all have our things, but Sh'torek wouldn't dare be carrying them around for the very reason of said items being taken away again. And that goes for all of it. He would stash it within his room. If they search his quarters(or whatever you call the place he sleeps), then they would find it all and could take it. It just doesn't make sense to him to have his weapons and armor on when he knows they're not suppose to have it.

But having said all that, if you prefer they take it, then that's fine too. Doesn't really matter to me.

Seeing two of the crew he clearly remembers, he catches sight of their weapons but says nothing and proceeds to get to work. Noticing several items, he picks up the shield first, the tanglefoot bag next and then the rest.

I totally failed to mention this, but Sh'torek possesses this Alt race trait: Water Sense This is simply just for future reference is all. No worries on it now.

As the barbarian is taken completely by surprise, he feels a nasty pinch from the creature as it gets a hold of him one moment, and in the next moment he's been set free due to the magic of Sandara. Reaching out to grab the dagger, he snatches it cleanly. "Thank you." He nods, turning and stabbing at the creature.

I have a +10 in swim. Also, I let someone else roll for Sandara. My rolls are notoriously terrible.

Sh'torek - shirtless and shoeless as always - looks to the others, leaning in, "As will I." He nods and then dives in.

No swim checks due to the +10 in swim, which is auto succeed.

Didn't realize she was 40' from me. By reading the above post, I thought we were in the same location.

Seeing Dhugal's throw land perfectly, "Well done, Dhugal!" Sh'torek will swim alongside her and make sure she makes it okay the rest of the way.

I'm curious as to the CMD roll. Can she not freely be grabbed? Would she not want to freely be grabbed? Again, just curious.

Edit Cool. Well if it's possible, I will allow her to grab me then. If not, we'll just continue as is.

Sh'torek looks to Rosie before looking to where the rope is hanging down. Turning to Boldwin, he yells through the rain. "Tie the rope off, Boldwin! And quickly!" With that, Sh'torek backs up a few steps and takes off, leaping over the railing and diving into the sea. As he comes up from under the water, he looks for the rope, swims toward it and grabs the end of it. He then quickly turns and swims with a graceful speed straight toward Rosie, grabbing her to keep her from sinking. "Here! Tie yourself off!" He hands her the rope. "I'll keep you afloat while you do!" Once she manages to tie herself off, Sh'torek will give a sign to the others to pull her up.

Sh'torek has a swim speed of 30'.

Sh'torek grows more concerned as things are starting to look bleak. "Dhugal! Find a rope and give me one end of it!" He yells after the half-orc as he moves to find another rope.

With the rain making it difficult, Sh'torek manages to finally make the climb and gets to work on the rigging. Blasted rain. Is there not enough working against us? He thinks to himself as he looks upon the sky, observing the rain as it pours heavily down upon him. I do so like the rain, though. This place is making me bitter.
