Tonight was the final session of the Shackled City Adventure Path. I ran this campaign for six players using Fantasy Grounds (with no voice chat, only text). We started way back in September of 2006.

My thanks goes out to all the people who had a hand in putting the SCAP together. Your hard work provided our group with 4+ years of fun.

The demonic form of Adimarchus has the following listed under the Attack entry:

Attack: +42 melee (2d6+23/17–20 plus special, Ashen Blade) and +34 melee (1d6+6 plus 1d4 negative levels, 4 tentacles)

A single strike with the blade in addition to all four tentacles? Seems like it should be a single attack with either the Blade or a tentacle. Am i missing something?

'Nuff said!

Tonight i ran the puzzle of the Starry Mirror, only to realize that it was no fun at all for the color-blind player in the group. A quick notation next to each color made it ok, and he ended being the player to crack the code part-way open, with a second player finishing the job and solving it.

Is there a hotline to report adventures that discriminate against the color-blind?

Today i purchased the pdf version of Dungeon #104, and was a bit unsatisfied with the quality of the images.

I run the Shackled City Adventure Path online (using Fantasy Grounds 2) and was hoping to easily copy high quality maps and images for use in the game.

I'm assuming that the images are the best they can be for the issue, but was curious if a should bother to purchase pdfs for later instalments of the Adventure Path. Are the images any better in later issues?

(On a side note, i do not feel the purchase was a total loss, as i can still copy the descriptive text of the adventure for use in my online game.)

Thank you in advance for your time in answering my question.

If you cannot find folks in your area to play the game with, perhaps you could get a game going online via OpenRPG. It requires a little work to learn to use the program, but it might be worth it to get your game on.

Do you think 3rd Edition (3.0 / 3.5) encourages power gaming more than previous editions of the game?
