Shane, when he is able packs up and leaves in the middle of the night, never to be seen again.

OOC: My college coureses are beginning again and I don't think I'll have time enough for this anymore. Beat of luck!

You're doing a great job playing Shane. I'm finding myself wanting to go beat some sense into his head myself ;-)

OOC: Here are Shane's Virtue: Justice and Vice: Pride. You can't say what he says, isn't true. Even though he isn't so diplomatic at saying it. He's a straight shooter. Calls 'em like he sees 'em! Oh!... I just went to Tommy's Profile for the first time to see if he had any Virtues and Vices listed. But didn't find any. An saw the "Half Blood American Indian" info. there. I hadn't realized that before in or out of game. Any how, the Chiefs and Indians thing was just a figure of speech. An we all know what is the #1 Bumper crop grow in the backwoods of Kentucky, right!

27 is a little old to be chasing after that young college tail. I wonder how Sara and John feel about the hired help pursuing and catching their little Princess.;-)

Good Gaming,

Shane just slowly shakes his head and quotes Shakespeare's Hamlet, "Me thinks the lady doth protest too much"! In response to Tommy's heated defense of his decisions and actions "I'm sorry, but babies have been getting along just fine in this world, long before Similac and Pampers came upon the scene". Pointing to the baby supplies on the counter. "I myself was breast feed and had cloth diapers, just like all my brothers. An I turned out just fine".
"And this one would of survived just fine with cow or goat milk until you could of found a wet nurse for 'em. An far as cloth diapers go, with all the old clothes that the average american family has in their closets. I'm sure you could of found something to use. Perhaps some of Glenda's old high school homecoming and prom dresses. She looks like the type of young lady who would have plenty of those in her closet. They would make fine diapers. It's not like she's going to
be using them again".
"As far as water goes, you have a well here. I'm sure most of these old farms around here have old manuel pumps somewhere with all the other so called junk, stored in their outbuildings. All it would take is a few hand tools an a little elbow grease and some common sense to switch out a electric pump for the manuel one".
"No offense, but after hearing Tommy talk, I can tell common sense isn't so common around here".
"I thank you for your hospitality and fixing me up. But as soon as I'm mended up and able to travel, I'll be hitting the road. There are to many Chiefs and not enough indians around here for my taste. Which wouldn't be so bad, except some of those who have made themselves Chiefs are pretty much wet behind the ears and have been smoking the Peace Pipe a few times to many"!

John said "You really think going it alone is wise?"[/b]

Shane answered him saying. "Yes, I think would be wise. There's a 100 perchent chance that someone else is going to screw things up for starters. With me having to pay the price. I could of easily evaded that Mob of Thugs we came up against in town, with just riding in the opposite direction on my Mt. Bike. If I hadn't tried to defend the Haywagon. I wouldn't be in the shape I'm in. Once I get back up to where my rig is hidden in the woods, near your Father-in-laws place. I will beable to get my hands on my equipment. So I'll beable to asure something like this won't be happening to me anytime soon. You can bet on that".

Shane isn't a very good patient. As he hasn't had much experience with it before. Since not once in his 22 years before been admitted to a hospital. Since he had been home birthed by Mid Wives. The worse aliments he had every had were the flu, measles, chicken pox and a sprained ankle when he was playing on the basketball team in high school. Being layed up didn't much agree with his demeanor. He worried about what was happening with Suzanna, up in Campton. He is thankful to those who have attended him. An tries to be patient with being a patient. But it still rancored him that he had agreed, against his better judgement, to go along with taking the Haywagon to town etc. Which had put him in the situation in he was now in, in the first place.

Male Human

Shane will convalesce his require 6 days.

OOC: What happen to O'Brady and Torres's Players???

Male Human

Regaining consciousness, Shane says. "I told you this damn thing would get us killed". As soon as I can, I'm out of here. Who and the hell goes looting without a weapon anyway"? Glareing at Bryan. I don't suffer fools gladly"!

Male Human

8-dice, +2 for All-out-attack, +3 for will power point, -2 for defense = 11 dice)
11d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 3, 3, 2, 4, 5, 3, 3, 3) = 34

Male Human

"Shane you have to take a -3 to all rolls".

OOC: -3 dice, or -3 to each 1D10 roll????

Male Human

2nd Combat Round

Shane will set his Composite bow down and draws his Machete and Survival knife from their scabbard and sheathes on his belt. Trying to distract the Thugs he says, "Hold on for one more minute you guys, I see the Cops coming"!!! An then attacks the hopefully somewhat distracted Thug in front of him.
Str 3+ Weaponry3+ Cloak & Daggar2, using D hilted Survival Knife as Shield/Parry
8d10 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 3, 9, 2, 8, 7) = 37

Keeper of Forbidden Lore wrote:
Shane, hella good roll 10 hits, which would have dropped a bear of a man so the guy you shot is down for sure

If Shane is not engage in hand to hand next round, he will keep firing the bow until thus engaged. An then go to the Machete and Survival knife man to man combat skill set.

Male Human

Now it is round 1 :)

When it is his turn, Shane will shoot point blank into the wounded Thug that comes at him.
11d10 ⇒ (10, 10, 8, 9, 10, 9, 6, 4, 7, 7, 8) = 88
Additional 3 dice for the 10's rolled.
3d10 ⇒ (1, 10, 10) = 21
Additional 2 dice for the 10's rolled.
2d10 ⇒ (3, 9) = 12

Then Shane will set his Composite bow down and draws his Machete and Survival knife from their scabbard and sheathes on his belt.

Quote:

Switch shane and tommy's spots on the map. Shane you picked them out as a threat at 100 feet still in short rang for you for you your ranges are 44/88/132+ yards so 0/-2/-4 on attacks. You get 3 turns of actions{3 shots before the others come out. Your attack is dex+ firearms+ draw= 6 but takes a -2 from the cars in the way so 4d10 per shot. Pik your targets. OH what kind of arrows yall using?

Shane will shoot at the Duck guy and the two thugs closest to the horses, using 3 of his hunting arrows.

Duck 4d10 ⇒ (9, 9, 4, 4) = 26
Thug1 4d10 ⇒ (10, 7, 6, 10) = 33
Thug2 4d10 ⇒ (1, 3, 5, 8) = 17

Male Human

Shane has no intention of going into and looting any store, as mentioned in his last post. He well be standing watch outside. When seeing the orginized mob of thugs coming into sight. Shane will stick his head in the door and yelled.
"Bryan and Tommy we got trouble incoming, get your asses outside ASAP".
At the same time thinking to himself, I told them that damn haywagon would draw in trouble, like horse manure draws flies!
(Shane would of shouted a warning to them when they were at least three times as far away as they are on the combat map.
"It appears you've set your sites on aquiring something that doesn't belong to you. So approach no further or I'll be justified in starting to send some arrows your way. To warn you, I've been shooting one of these thing since I was six! So whose going to be the first to taste some of my feathered death"?.

OOC:With his Draw and Loose and Rapid Nock Skills, how many shoots would Shane get off before they got to where they are in the combat map? I would say atleast 3 or 4. Let me know what dice mechanics I need to use to figure out if Shane hits and how much damage is done.
So has Shane gained any extra experience points or special benefits for having his(Virtue: Justice and Vice: Pride) played as well as they have?

Good Gaming,
Marc

It's been less then 2 days since the Event that caused everything to go to heck in a handbasket. So Shane, being who he is, feels quite conflicted about the looting. An doesn't do any himself. Though he well stay outside and keep an vigulant eye on the horses and haywagon, as well as any possible dangers, while Bryan and Tommy do so. Some how justifing in his mind that being a look out and watching the escape vehicile isn't the same thing as actually stealing. Thinking that somehow he can still manage to take the high road, even in these circumstances. He wonders where Officer O'Brady and the rest of the local law enforcement are.

When they pass the Pawn Shop, that they had gone to the day before, a twinge of guilt caused Shane to peddle quickly by it, trying not to glance in its direction. He'll be glad when they finally get to Mr. McCoys, where he remembers seeing some stuff in the shed when he Bryan made the Stretcher/Litter in, that he wants to use to modify his Mt. Bike with.

Either one is not exactly non-conspicuous. An would at the least need two horses to pull it.

IC: "Well I think just the three of us making it to Mr. McCoy's and then you two getting him back safe and sound to his family here, would be a big enough accomplishment". Said Shane.
"Remember the baby needs formula and probably other baby supplies also. I don't think that can wait. An I can't wait to go either. An like I've asked before, but never got any answers to, don't you guys have family and friends in the area, that you want to find out what their situation is. It seems this would be a good place to bring them. Like Mr. Wakeland said. There is alot of good farmland here, that needs people to work it and defend it".
A glow of pride and love comes to the face of the young man as he continues. "As far as my Sweetheart goes. Suzanna can take care of herself. She's a regular rennisance woman. Beside being a nurse practitioner, she's nearly has her black belt in Taekwondo. In the Society of Creative Anachronism, she is a heavy fighter and shoots archery as well. Along with knowing such archaic skills such as spinning and weaving cotton and wool fibers on a shuttle loom. As well as herbal lore for both cooking and healing, to name just a few. She has identical twin younger brothers, Sean and Connor, age 17, which she has basically raised for the last four years, since their parents died in an a auto accident. Both of them are also Fighters and Archers in training. (For legal purposes you have to be 18 to Heavy Fight or shoot Archery in a sanctioned SCA event). But of course with a signed legal waiver, teens 15+ can train at a sanctioned SCA practice, with their Guardian present. Their SCA Household/Clan of 10+ SCAers, are from within 10 miles of Campton. So like I said, I don't know whether or not I'll be coming back this way or not. I'll have to see what the situation is up there.
So I think it would be pretty selfish of me, to bring you two all the way up there to Campton with me. An then ending up telling you, 'Thank's anyway, but I've decided to stay up here. Good luck with getting all the way back to Jackson by yourselves'. Right"?

Male Human

"I'm in the Coast Guard and not the Army". Said Shane. Continuing he said. "A Unit that has trained together in tactical maneuvers in enviroments and situations that they are likely to come across would be a great asset. But I'm sorry, but you, me and Bryan going down the road, clippity cloppity, is not such a Unit. I think I would do better on my own, moving quietly. I may even just travel at night to better avoid confrontations".
"I don't know if you want my opinion or not. But I think trying to take that haywagon into town right now would be a mistake. To many cars on the road. An the three of us won't be enough to defend it against any organized gang or such. That may see it's as the very valuable asset that it is"!

Male Human

"I don't know about you, but I just want to get a heaping helping of what Mr. Wakeland is fixing up there. An then find a warm place to curl up in and catch up on my ZZZ's"! Said Shane.

Male Human

"Wow, thank's for your concern for my safety and well being and all". Says Shane. "But Tommy, don't you and Bryan have Kith and Kin nearby that you have your own concerns about? It would be selfish of me to drag you all the way up to Campton, when I don't even know if I'll be coming back this way. Beside I thought riding shodded horses on pavement wasn't the best thing in the world to do. For both the horses or the riders.
A single man on a Mt. Bike, is alot more quiter then the lip clop of horses hooves on pavement. An alot less threatening to anyone they might come across. Perhaps you can accompany me as far as Mr. McCoy's and help him make his way back to his family here".

Male Human

'well !" John says [/b]" What the hells going on in Jackson and who is he?"[/b

Not waiting for any of the others to answer, Shane says. "Good Evening Mr. Wakeland, Sir, my name is Shane MacIntyre, I'm a Marine Law Enforcement Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. Or at least I was, not sure what is going to happen with that now, if things stays the way they are. I'm already AWOL, as of 0700 this morning".
Continueing. "Yesterday afternoon, I was driving through the area, on the way to Florida. When everything went cattywampus haywire, me and my vehicle ended up on the side of the road, not far from your father-in-law, Mr. McCoy's Place. After a bit of a rough start, we made a nice acquaintanceship. There was a big Greyhound bus and other automobles crashed just north of where I stopped. We got most of the injuried to his place. An I and another, ended up taking the most injuried gentleman, via a bicycle litter we rigged up, into the Medical Clinic on the north end of town. Before I left Mr. McCoy's, he asked me if I would make sure his Daughter, Sara and Granddaughter, Glenda got home safe and sound. I promised him I would. An now it seems that they have".
"As far as things in town. We spent last night at your Animal Hospital and this morning went to the hospital. On the north end of town, fire had broken out. An people were doing some looting. I talked a few moments to a Fire Department Superviser who had his men fighting fires with a Bucket Brigade. After we went to the hospital and a Pawn Shop, by the way firearms don't seem to work anymore, if you didn't already know that. We ran into a Police Officer, named O'Brady, a K-9 doghandler and his dog. He seemed to know Tommy and your Daughter. Maybe he had brought his dog into the Animal Hospital for something, I don't know. Anyway we made it here safe and sound. I would appreciate it if I could get a meal and somewhere warm to sleep for the night. Then I'll be out of your hair in the morning. I going to be headed back north through town, and eventually all the way up to Campton, where a Lady Love of mine lives. I'll be stopping by to say "Hi" to Mr. McCoy on the way. So if your wife, Sara would like me to take a letter or anything else to him, I would be happy to"!

Male Human

OOC:Just to clarify to Officer Kyle O'Brady's Player. Shane is not a member of the Marine Corp. He is a Marine Law Enforcement Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. Marine, is a general term relating to the sea or ocean. Which means he is stationed on a Coast Guard Cutter and is a armed member of at away team that boards vessels for inspection and to check for smuggling of drugs and other contraband. The Coast Guard also performs these duties on the Great Lakes as well.

Male Human

"Well that's all I know, sorry I can't give you better Intel". Shane tells O'Brady. "Best of luck to you Officer. I made a solemn promise to someone that I got to see through. So right now my current duty and responsibility is headed down the road. But I'll be headed north again out of town when I get done. Maybe I'll run into you".
Taking off his backpack, he takes out of it the stainless steel hatchet in it's belt sheath and one of the bayonets he had gotten at the Pawn Shop.
"Here, my compliments, from one civil servant to another. You can make a spear, by using the hatchet to cut down a sapling and put the bayonet on the end, by putting the widdled down end of the sapling through the barrel hole on the hilt of the bayonet and use zip ties or tape to further secure it to the shaft. Got to go"!
Putting his backpack back on and checking to see that all of his gear and weapons are ship shape and within easy reach. Shane gave the Police Officer a salute. An turned his Mt. Bike and rode south down the road, catching up to and then passing the group traveling with the gurney. Taking the point position, scouting ahead for any signs of danger.

Bryan wrote:

"Why do you feel compelled to tell everyone your life story Shane? Name's Bryan by the way."

"Well apparently you weren't paying attention Officer. An take a step back from what? It's Bryan who seems to have problem, not me"! Shane says to O'Brady. "As far as seeing any of the city's civil servants, I saw some firemen doing a bucket brigade up there at the worst of the fires. But your the first we have seen of any law enforcement, either city or county. An we started out over at the Animal Clinic on the corner of Broadway and Highland".

Male Human

Shane says' "I'm not trying to piss anyone off. I gave the man the answer to the question he asked. Plain and simple! I can't help it if doesn't like what I have to say. If I would have to guess, I'd say the guy has a problem with authority figures. An who an heck does he think he is anyway, to question the way that I conduct myself"!

Male Human

Bryan gives you an icy look before turning away. He clenches and unclenches his fists for a few moments, if you didn't know better you could swear his hands are shaking.

Seeing Bryan's reaction, Shane say's. "Like my Dad always said, 'Don't ask questions that your not going to like the answers to'!". He then glanced over at Officer Kyle O'Brady, and gives him a knowing look. "Civilians just don't understand do they? You can't know, what you haven't experienced, right"?

Bryan Woods, Survivalist wrote:
"Why do you feel compelled to tell everyone your life story Shane"?

"Well Bryan, I can tell you have never served in the Armed Forces. See when you join anyone of the 5 Armed Forces and usually any law enforcement and firefighters unit with in the United States also. You swear an Oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States, against all enemies Foriegn and Domestic. Those who truely take that Oath to heart, no matter what uniform they are wearing, are a member of a long lived and honorable brotherhood that goes back to Valley Forge and before. Thus when I identify myself to fellow public servants such as policemen and firemen, etc. They know that I have sworn the same Oath that they have. An am more likely to be a person of high integrity and honor, then your averge John Doe on the street. An thus far more unlikely to be a person of a nefarious character. Believe me, the fact that I'm a Coast Guard Marine Law Enforcement Officer, is just the tip of the iceberg, as far as my life story goes"!

Male Human

OOC: Since we have that Appalachian Emberverse Goggle Map. It would be nice if we used it to keep track of where we are. Also I take it that Adam Fletcher and his Player are not with us, too.

Male Human

OOC:Is Kyle O'Brady an Officer from the City of Jackson, Or a Deputy from the County of Breathitt?

Male Human

As Shane see's Officer O'Brady's uniform, including his his K-9 Patch on his shoulder. He unnocks the arrow and quickly places it back in the quiver. Setting the compound bow across the handlebars. He slowly reaches into his inside jacket pocket and takes out his I.D. and Badge an opens it and holding it in his left hand.
"Hello Officer, the name is Shane MacIntyre, I'm a Marine Law Enforcement Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. I have worked with K-9 Drug dogs and their handlers as part of the Vessel Boarding Teams I have been appart of in the past. That's a handsome looking dog you have there".
"Yeah I know, I'm way out of my jurisduction. I was just passing through vacinity of your lovely town yesterday afternoon on the way to my next duty station. When everything sorta went to hell in a hand basket".
"Hate to tell you this, but that pistol your packing there, is only useful for pistol whipping someone. Along with everything else that doesn't seem to work anymore. It seems that gunpowder, no longer has the explosive punch it use to have. Don't take my word, check it out yourself".
"That's why I'm toting around this here compound bow. It's now the state of the art in long range weaponry. Lucky for me I've been shooting bows since I got a BEAR 15lb fiberglass bow for Christmas when I was 6 years old".

Male Human

OOC: Is Officer Kyle O'Brady in Uniform? What is he a Officer of?

Male Human

Hearing the commotion behind him, Shane circles his Mt. Bike around and heads for the group around the gurney, with arrow nocked. As he closes the distance, he tries to disern what exactly is going on. Ever alert for danger!

Male Human

As stated before, Shane will defer to Glenda in matters of where she thinks her Mom might be and where we should go.

Male Human

After giving the storekeeper, a ten dollar bill for the 3 rolls of grey duct tape. Shane put the machete in it's scabbard and one of the a stainless steel hatchet in it's belt sheath, on his belt. Which already has his sheathed survival knife on it. He puts the two extra bow strings, the 3 rolls of duct tape, the remaining stainless steel hatchet and two bayonets in his backpack. Putting on the shooting glove and bracer, he threw his backpack back on, as well as the full quiver. Making sure he can easily access to retrieving the hunting arrows it carries. Again testing out the 120 lb pull on the compound pulley bow. He threw it diagnolly over his left shoulder.
Retrieving his Mt. Bike he gave a nod to the Storekeeper. Making sure the coast was clear. Shane slipped outside to await the others. Getting on his Mt. Bike he rode it out of the parking lot on to the main road, just circling around, scouting for any possible danger in the area around the Pawnshop. Stopping he took the bow from around his shoulder. An practiced riding with the bow resting on the handle bars. Once he figured out the best way to do that. He practiced riding the bike with no hands, after bring the bow into play and drawing a arrow from the quiver and nocking it and pulling the string and arrow back as if to fire it. He almost crash twice, but after a couple of minutes Shane got the hang of it. He also practice dry firing the bow with out the arrow. How he would do in actual combat situation remained to be seen. He planned on practicing more as soon as they got the show on the road.

OOC: Adam Fletcher's Player hasn't posted anything since 15 June. Have we lost him?

Male Human

"Darn, I knew I was forgetting something. How much for a roll of duct tape? I need 3 or 4 rolls".

Male Human

"How about the remaining hatchet and those two bayonets for the balance. Does that sound fair to you"? Shane asked the Shop Owner.

Male Human

Shane feels bad enough as it is, knowning what he knows about how useful a firearms now are. To haggle with the man for them. He will ask about the machetes in back. An takes the best in the lot.

Male Human

With his $375.00 of Store Credit. Shane will buy a $200 price ranged bow, a quiver, 24 hunting arrows, a bracer, shooting glove and a couple of extra bowstrings. a stainless steel hatchet and a machete in a sheath if they have any. Whatever credit is left can be used by the others to get some stuff also.

Male Human

As they entered The Pawn Shop, parking his MT. Bike just inside the door. Shane say's, "I want to sell my 357 Magnum Revolver and my modified 12 gauge, short barreled Winchester Defender Shotgun here for store credit. How much will you give me for them"?
Shane will be looking around the store for the usual Japanese three blade sets. An any other swords he may have of 440 stainless steel or better Also at the Hunting Archery Gear; bow, arrows, etc.. Also belt hatchets, felling axes and machetes. What exactly is available and at what prices? Plus anything that could be used as a shield. Something that can have straps made of a used belt nailed into it and bent over on the other side.

Male Human

Shane turns to Glenda and says. "You seem to be a smart young lady with a good head on your shoulders". Glancing over at Tommy, he continues. "With a few exceptions. No one's perfect. What do you think your Mother would do? You being her daughter, would know best. So I will abide with what you think is the best course of action"?

Male Human

OOC: Let's look at this logically. Have you looked at the map of Jackson and where the hospital is in relation to the Animal Clinic and the Connors Place? As far as we know. Sara is healthy and fine and can take care of herself just fine. An would probably headed back to the Animal Clinic. It would be criminally negligent to take a new born on such a trek. You can't run away from a gang of hoodlums very well with a baby in tow. How are you even going to heat the baby formula, etc. It would be better to leave them at the hospital with Sheila. Then to do that.
Also if you look at the map, Sara, after leaving the Connor's Place, would take Hwy 1098 until it crosses Park Rd. and becomes Quicksand Rd. which swings around and approach the Animal Clinic from the South. While we would be traveling down Park Rd. until it comes to Hwy 1098. If Sara had started not long after dawn this morning, she would be most of the way back to the Animal Clinc. So if we went back to the Animal Clinic and got the baby and who's ever going to stay there with them, settled there with some source of heat. Which we can scavenge on the way back. Then those who are going to look for Sara can travel toward the Conner's Place on the route she would be traveling toward the Animal Clinic on.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&t=h&msa=0&msid =108606978534932899691.00048324f69cc069e43ff&ll=37.547708,-83.375502&am p;spn=0.044233,0.054245&z=14

IC:Upon hearing Tommy's Plan, he reenterates his own. Explaining the logic of his plan.

Male Human

OOC: I never got my answer about whether or not that the hospital we where at was Kentucky River Medical Center?
Logic and being a parent myself tells me it is a little crazy to be wandering around in the cold and wet with a newborn baby. As well as a semideranged woman.
Plus looking at the map. If Sara was going to walk, ride a bike or ride a horse back to the Animal Clinic. The shortest route is not on the road we will be traveling on for most of the way. Just my 2 cents.

IC:Shane waits to see what the others say.

Male Human

OOC:Is the hospital we are at, the Kentucky River Medical Center‎ at 540 Seldon Jett Road?

IC:"We'll I guess we better get Sheila and the baby somewhere safe.". Said Shane. "It's probably best if we just go back to the Animal Clinic, who knows, Sara may be there right know. If she isn't. Then we make sure everything is secure at the Animal Clinic. Then I think Tommy, Bryan and I should head out on the route that Sara would most likely use to go from the Animal Clinic to the Conner's Place and back. But first we need to find some bicycles and weapons. Bryan, I know I asked you before, but you never answered. Are you from around these parts. An if so, do you have things at your place that might be of use"?

Shane will continue to look for items he mentioned before. If they come across a Sporting Goods Store that has been broken into. He will take any archery gear, camping gear, axes, hatchets, hunting knives etc. Leaving a I.O.U. note with everything he had taken listed with prices. With his name, SSN and I.D. and Badge number.

Male Human

Waiting a few minutes to pass to let Shelia regain her composure. Shane comes over and tries to tactfully take Tommy aside for a moment. In in a low voice said, "Can you ask her if she remembers where Vet. Wakeland was yesterday afternoon, when all this went down? We need to find her. The sooner, the better".

Male Human

Wits+Comp=5 5d10 ⇒ (9, 6, 5, 2, 4) = 26
What does Shane find?

Male Human

Shane will also be looking for a galvanized steel garbage can lid that he might barrow, to use as a make-shift shield, as they move along the streets.

http://www.trashcandepot.com/2310cl-galvanized-trash-can-with-lid-economy-g rade-31-gallon-capacity-21-dia-x-31-h-trash-can-1777.html

"Yeah, Tommy, your the local, you can go ahead and lead the way around that fire mess! Everyone keep an eye for push broom or push broom handle. I can remove the screw on compass pommel and take out the plastic cylinder that has matches, bandaids and fish hooks, etc.. An screw the hollow hilt of my survival knife onto it and make a nice spear".

Shane's Survival Knife:

Male Human

"Yes, let get to the hospital. If we find a open Sporting Goods Store along the way. All the better". Said Shane.

Male Human

Riding up to the Group wheeling the gurney down up the street. Skidding to a stop. Getting his his feet underneath him, he whipped his shotgun around to the ready position and then points it to the sky.
Saying, "Hey Guys get this"! Pumping, rejecting the last shell he tried to shoot. An pulled the trigger with no effect, pumping rejecting, etc. Until all the shells were laying on the ground. "You guessed it, firearm's don't work either. So what do you think about that Adam? Is there any logical theory that you know of that would cause that? Stepping closer to the Fireman, so no one else can hear their conversation. Shane said in a low voice. "Just found that out myself". Showing him the two fired but not shot pistol round and shotgun shell. Continuing, he said. "Damn, I thought this was from something like a EMT Burst from a nuclear bomb hitting DC or something. Knocking all the computer chips in everything out. But it seems like somehow, the Laws of Physics have been altered. Do you have any idea what's going on? Have you notice anything weird about the fires. I wonder if I threw a round into one, if it would even go off"?
