I apologize for not posting lately. I have heat exhaustion, and it's a lot more draining in real life than in Pathfinder. I don't even have the mental energy to watch a movie without taking a nap.
The good news is that two days of rest and lots of water is all its supposed to take to recover, so I'll hopefully be back on Tuesday.
Shandra returns without a word, and heals Anfial. I can't believe I showed such weakness in front of men. Now they'll think I'm some dainty flower they can pluck.
The ranger quietly sets to polishing her shield while the rest of the Pathfinders investigate and discuss the situation.
Shandra casts another spell, then inches closer. "I'll rush in and take the hit. If anybody wants to follow, come behind while it's trying to strike me!"
Crunch:
Standard Cast resist energy (fire) on myself
Free 5-ft. step
Shandra charges into and through the nearest enemy, impaling it on her shield and driving the creature back.
Crunch:
Swift Animal Focus (bull)
Full Round Charge (yellow)
Spiked Heavy Shield:1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32Piercing:1d6 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 plus Bull Rush (uses the attack roll, and I will move with the creature--+5 ft. for every 5 past its CMD)
Why is everybody so eager to get themselves killed? There's enough things out there trying to kill Pathfinders without us helping them!"Don't get too close to these things! Pick them off from a distance." Shandra unstraps her shield and stows it away.
@GM: I resized the map so that it's easier to see/handle. When you're done with the sand depression, just right click on it and select Order>Send to Back. You can then enlarge the next map, and it will automatically cover the old one. Our tokens are already at the front, so they should automatically appear above the new map.
"Well, that makes my choice simple and obvious. My goddess has not shown me any of those spells, but she has given me one for resisting harmful elements."
I've never tried using GD for that, but I can tell you that it takes me less than 5 minutes to do chronicles in Reader. And also, it's difficult on our end to print the GD chronicles.
Do you keep a USB drive with you? If you do, just throw Reader on it.
I pretty much ignore Simone. For how week her stats are at this level, I don't even want to deal with running her. And Shandra can get scent for 1 minute, so I'm not worried too much about losing the wolf's senses.
It's either very good or very bad that I was busy the past couple days and Matsu beat me to it, because I was going to dump both cups on the floor.
"Why in the seven hells would you swallow a drink offered by an enemy? Well, I won't stop any other suicidal idiots." Shandra looks at each Pathfinder before backing away, keeping both Matsu and the cups clearly in her line of sight the whole time. That boy is either a traitor or too stupid to tie his own shoes, but either way, he better stay the hell away from me!
