Description: Shamus is a human of average height and weight with
spikey hair of a dirty blond coloring. He has blue eyes
and a cheerful, freindly face that conceals a deceptive
nature. He generally wears a long brown trench coat with
a deep red collar.
Backround: Shamus Car'das was born in a large Tyrean city to a poor
family. When Shamus Car'das was four years old his parents
were killed in an accident on a ship. He was soon taken in
by the local theive's guild and showed a great talent not
only for sneaking and burglary but for con artistry. When
the barbarian hordes approached the city in which he lived he fled. Everyone he knew was massacred by these creatures and he was severley wounded. He fled north and ended up in Diamond Lake, where he now steals and cons whatever he needs to survive. He is embittered by the loss of everything he has ever known, and is slow to trust or befreind anyone for fear of what he views as the inevitable loss. He uses his natural charm and skills at deception not only to get what he wants but also to keep everyone at arms length. He is filled with a burning hatred of the races that overran his home. He has also devloped a slight limp and a nagging cough (both of which are entirely psychosomatic) for which he seeks a cure. He has troubles sleeping, often plagued by nightmares of the destruction of his home city and dreams of dark foreboding of coming events.
