Sorry for my relative silence lately. Part of my job as a minister is to conduct funerals. Since second wave of covid is hitting Western Europe hard since the beginning of November, I've had less and less time to post.
I was surprised as well by the amount of lore dump in this scenario! However, I enjoy it very much. And I find you do very well as a GM here, asking multiple times if the pace was okay, if you should do anything to enhance the game. I genuinely think your competence as a GM is not what slows the game. This scenario is pretty unexpected, it looks more like an interactive cinematic than anything else to be honest :)
As a matter of fact, Shamak can handle social, but as an early character of mine (PFSnumber-2) is built mainly towards combat.

As a non-native speaker (writer tbh), I may not be the most able among us to "speak in ornate ways" haha. Maybe Drake will be better that me for that!

The hulking half-orc waits to have answers to what Drake asked, but suddenly has another question.

Once on the plane of Axis, the big half-orc coughs and squints his eyes, looking for any sign of life.
When the small horse-like creature appears, Shamak can't contain a deep laugh when he's compared to a priest.
"AYE! I AM NO PRIEST. WE ARE MEMBERS OF THE PATHFINDER SOCIETY. GREETINGS!" he says, bowing a little clumsily.

A broad shouldered half-orc who stands at 6'7 and has plenty of tattoos on him enters the room, kicking the door open with no great care. He is wearing a mithral breastplate with a mendevian flag on it. He has a Falchion at his side that has a special aura to it.
The man bears no sign of his belonging to the society nor to any faction, aside from one tattoo who looks like metallic wings burning, covering his muscular right arm.
Looking at the persons around, he yells "YEAH, I KIND O' LOST ME WAY! BUT I'M HERE NOW. SHAMAK REPORTING FO' DUTY!"
Shamak looks like he just woke with a really bad hangover and his breath stinks of an interesting mix of mead and beer.
He looks around slowly, acknowledging the situation and eventually shouts "YES OF COURSE! I WILL BRING NO TROUBLE! I SWEAR!"

He then loudly explains what he know to the pathfinders willing to hear him talk about Hao Jin.
