Thanks. I saw that and I guess I confused Hit Points with Hit Dice.

I'm trying to find a reference in the rules/books that says you can't have more than 1 rank in any particular Skill at lvl 1. Could someone provide me with a quote or page number?

Example: I have a new character with 9 Skill points to apply and I can't put all 9 in Ride.
