Vivienne and Alphonse both look uncomfortable in the relentless downpour and their spirit's seemed to drop even more at the mention of a river. Both the gnome and tiger had a distaste for large bodies of water and boats. The green haired woman squinted in the dim lighting, shouting to be heard, "Can you give us a brief description so we can recognize Eiastor and the team if and when we cross paths?" Any information they had now would surely help them out later, especially when it came to those they needed to recognize. A rather unsettling thought crossed her mind, What if the stones are the items Amenopheus wants me to collect? Good Mother help me if I have to try and steal one.. Both she and the tiger shifted their weight, almost in unison, as they watched the young man carefully for answers.

The gnome's cheeks flushed a vibrant shade of crimson at the sudden attention, she was used to being ignored and simply listening. Vinny's brain had already begun racing with the directions as she mentally calculated everything and then racked the recluses of her memory for anything that might help them with the demon problem...she hadn't expected such a blatancy from a man she had never met before. Demon lord, this could be worse than those elementals at Bonekeep if we don't do something... Her ears twitched and flattened slightly and her cat's mimicked them instantly, but she ignored his comment and looked to the man calling himself Osprey, "The Mwangi expanse can't be too far from here, if my memory serves me right...and we should not be allowing stones like that into hands that cannot be trusted, right Al?" The tiger let out a low growl and the fur along his shoulders bristled up slightly, the gnome nodded and looked to the man, "Alphonse and I are in." She seemed to relax at the notation, though she glanced nervously at Rando, and Alphonse followed suit. He pawed at the ground as if anxious, though kept his claws sheathed. "So, when do we leave?"

And that is perfectly fine Rando, I love quirky characters like that (: I mean, once she purposefully went up and flirted with a gnome to get the information we needed, the entire table stared at me but it worked. GM thought it was hilarious too (: Now, Vinny might not respond like me, considering she's extremely awkward around people, but I as the player have no problem with it.

Vinny sighed, looking down at her companion as she stuffed the note in a pocket. She could bite back the need to know gnawing at the back of her mind, that need for a new adventure. To her, it made perfect sense to at least see what he wanted to do, it's not like she would be on a mission for a while anyways. "What do you think, Al? Should we go?" The large, armored tiger tipped his head at this as if in response. The little gnome chuckled and adjusted one of the straps that held her legs in place, "I'll send a letter to Amenopheus to let him know I'll be out of commission for a while, I'm sure he'll understand considering the circumstances." Alphonse let out a soft and playful growl, bouncing forward. He seemed to feed off the anticipation and excitement that Vivienne concealed, expressing what she wouldn't or couldn't. Vivienne continued talking herself into it, justifying it to the one of the few beings she considered a friend, "Besides, it could benefit the faction in some way we just haven't figured out yet, right?" Fun Fact : Tigers cannot purr.

Vivienne searched the crowd for the man to no avail, her bi-colored eyes narrowed. Alphonse, the tiger she was strapped to, watched the people with a childish curiosity. There were too many people for Vinny to find the man again, but she and her companion moved along anyway. The Saucy Wench, huh? she thought as Alphonse trotted through the crowd, I should consult Amenopheus first... Though, I might not have an answer in time. The green-haired gnome contemplated this, mentally trying to remember where the tavern he had named. [Knowledge Local(+5) = 14 + 5 + 19]

A rather large tiger strolled into the lounge with, oddly enough, a gnome strapped into the military-grade saddle on his back. The green-haired woman glanced at the others with wary, bi-colored eyes as she muttered something to the beast she rode. The cat, on the other hand, had the look of an overly-excited kitten on his face. Upon closer inspection, it became painfully obvious that there were no reigns or any means of her controlling the tiger. She just kept a hand placed just before his shoulder, using the other to hold a rather large, top-heavy staff. |
