Shadow the Cat's page

Shadow sits stiffly at the edge of the door, her unblinking amber eyes following Lynnda as she floats through the strange spherical room. The cat steps aside when her master steps back through the doorway into the hallway. She then winds around her master's ankles, purring loudly.

"Maow!"

Shadow feels her mistress' disgust and surprise at the male human's attack.

"Hsssss!! Growwwwr!"

The cat jumps on the man's ankles, biting and scratching him.

2 claws +4 (1d2-4), bite +4 (1d3-4). Or, 1 damage per attack.

The cat jumps off when the man bolts down the trail.

"Mrrrow!"

Perched on Lynnda's shoulder, Shadow glares at Foxglove with narrowed amber eyes, her ears partly folded back. Her tail swishes in agitation.

--Don't like!--

Shadow hops onto Lynnda's shoulder for a better look. She adds to the applause.

"Miaoooow!"

Shadow hops from Lynnda's shoulder into her lap. The cat's unblinking golden eyes stare at the sheriff, and she cocks her head slightly to one side as if sizing him up.

Perched on Lynnda's shoulder, Shadow narrows her eyes at the jailer and folds back her ears. "Hsssss!"

Now back on Lynnda's shoulder, Shadow looks at the young archer with narrowed amber eyes and shakes her head, swishing her tail in long arcs. If the cat were a person, she would almost seem be expressing disapproval.

"Mrrrow!"

Shadow looks at Halvor with a seemingly mirthful expression.

"Purrrrrrrrrrr"

Still perched on Lynnda's shoulder, Shadow digs her claws deeper into her mistress' jacket. Arching her back and hissing at the goblin, she swats menacingly at its torch as it swipes by-- a bit too close for comfort.

"Hsssssss!!"

Still perched on Lynnda's shoulder, Shadow arches her back and folds back her hears.

"Grrrrrowww! Hissssssss!"

"Meow!"

With typical feline grace, Shadow jumps from Lynnda's shoulder onto the bar, and starts lapping at the milk.

"Purrrrrrrr..."

"Meow!"

Shadow closes her beautiful amber eyes as her master strokes her head.

"Purrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

"Meow!"
