I got the GMing guide in the mail today and I was very exited that all kinds of people at Paizo like Jason Bulmahn signed it!

That is a fantastic outcome, and hopefully got its start at kid's track. Looking forward to her being able attend a GM101. And, I am looking forward to playing at her table some day.

As a reward for her accomplishment, I am personally buying her a copy of the Gamemaster Guide if she doesn't have one.

I started playing before the beginner's boxed set came out. I would love to run some kid's track games. Maybe at CanGames this year.

Thank you for the Gamemaster's Guide.

So, Shadow Stalker, what advice can you give us, on being a good GM? (That's a serious question. All of us have things to teach and things to learn.)

What was the best thing to happen at the tables you've run so far?

The most important thing is to have fun, so do things to make sure everyone has fun.

Well, when you run your game things are never going to go as planned. The PCs do unexpected things, as they always do, but be prepared to use something fun to surprise your players.

In one game, I had a player who was swallowed by a frog. Her character had one foot out of the frog's mouth (describe things in a fun/funny way), so someone was trying to heal her. The cleric used up at least three healing spells before she got out of the frog. I enjoyed her expression when she found out she was in a frog (so did everyone else).

I would NEVER give a bribe. If I give the bribe I will probably get something like " You have a -10 on your saving throw because of..." and make up whatever you think goes best in there.

If I were a GM I might give them a +1 on their next roll. If it was a serious game probably not.

Sorry, a typo in my last post. Take out the I in "but I my group is a little cautious.".

To be honest, I have never been in the role of a GM but I my group is a little cautious but we are never discussing every possible outcome. So I would probably say a mix of both.

Well , I have a huge masstif and I use him as a mount. Pretty useful and he does a lot of damage. he is also an excellent guard.
