Well, Shadow Magi did also have the power to corrupt Dream Creatures. That was one of their biggest threats, the corruption.
Honestly, I don't know how well that would work into a template, and about the only thing I know about the corruption is that it spread like a disease (if the Shadow Magi corrupted your creature, that corruption could spread to you). I will attempt to find sources, but I believe it was in the actual lore. I mean, there were SCADS of stories on the old Magi-Nation site.
I'll attempt to format and upload those online someday, as I have an old archive of all the stories somewhere.
Also, there is the Shadow Tracker that I would love to have a template on, but there's really nothing on them, aside from what's on the Yaki, Core Stalker card. :/
I love the work you've done so far, but I will point out that there is already a website up full of conversion rules for Magi-Nation to d20. It's old and, as far as i can tell, hasn't been worked on in a while. But what is there is a great amount of work.
