Door bashing is generally avoided IMC, It give whoever is on the other side plenty of time to prepare and there is almost garenteed to be a random encounter at your back just as the action starts.

Well i'm happy to have it.

Thanx for the input so far. I'll definately beef up Snapper, as for Hezz, i think a few more wizard levels, maybe not. The head Kaorti (Neegla, what the hell) is trying to figure out how to infuse him with Pseudo-natural energies as part of trying to make him her familiar. Neegla will be a striaght Sorc with a twin(or something) fighter to wield the Ice Pick. I still want to maintain the group dynamic established there among the goblins/Kaorti. Oh, and the snake at the front will be Kaortic as well, still a random encounter the others have no influence over it (and it isn't averse to eating them either).

Yes it is an awsome adventure, have you written any others Chris? I never noticed any.

I'm thinking about running Unfamiliar Ground from Dungeon 119 as a follow up to my last adventure. The primary themes of this campaign are "Steam Punk" and Far Realms/Abberation type incursions, So i'm thinking about chainging the goblins to Kaorti (yes that would up the power level, i have 7 PCs and they walk through most everything) should i change up the background (and Hezz) or leave that part alone?

I love the comics, never let them go. Long live Downer.
That said, does anyone get "The Portent"? I feel like i'm missing something, or maybe it's missing something. Anyway, not to fond of that one.

I had Rufus Laro from Shackeled City join the party, he is still in it and they just completed "The Test of the Smoking Eye". I am however getting tired of using him as a plot device.

OK, i just read through the last few instalments and i'm going to re-think the way i'm running it. The hardest part is going to convince them to leave Occ willingly.

Will do...

I wasn't implying it had to be humurous, i was just hoping for stories/ideas from people who had done so. I only tend to skim the later adventures and focus on the imediate ones. The monk sounds cool and i would be curious as to how his nature would influence the plane. He took a vow of poverty so i would probably cause valuables to disapate/change.

I definately would have ruled the same way as you did with the ranger. Tell me more of how this influences events.

As you might have guessed i am causing the PC's nature to influence the plane, the geyzer is elemental air at "sand blasting" velocity. Also the cysts are releasing thier captives as they turn to air. An army of the abyss is waiting for something to happen in the Occipitus region. I'm running this this weekend and will post more here. Your comments are welcome.

I will review the last two adventures before running this, do you think it will make a difference?

Of course i'm letting it stand, and i have some plans for repercussions, i was just wondering if any other DMs have dealt with PCs gaining this template, and the resulting hillarity of course.
