About Seven of Nine

Seven of Nine woke up in an incubator - a box with a translucent lid standing at an angle built into the wall of the room. The room was completely build from skymetal, glaucite to be precise but Seven wouldn't know. The room were the remains of an escape pod of an alien ship. Seven's ancestor went there for the renewal. Pushing the box open from the inside Seven stepped out and looked around. In the roome were various control boards, monitors and other tech but nothing that was still operational. Seven's ancestor chose the location solely for its seclusion. Seven started studying the environment and to learn everything that was to learn there. Once no new sensory stimuli were to be expected there Seven left that area and continued to study the world outside of it. Numeria. On contact with the humanoids of that world it happened that Seven was asked what to be called. Remembering the place Seven woke for the first time with nine numbered incubators in a row Seven told them Seven - Seven of Nine - as it was the seventh box Seven stepped out of.
