Sesi quietly readies her bow and stalks forward After she's about sixty feet away, she turns and mimes planting a spear into the ground, she points to herself, then the boar, then the party. After making sure they got the message to get ready, she moves closer to the boar, and readies a shot when she's thirty feet away. Do I need to roll again? If so, can I take 10 for an 18?

"No, no, sorry. I was just... I was just trying not to laugh at the absurdity of the tale I had in mind," Sesi says, chuckling as they move along the road. "No," she repeats, sobering considerably as her eyes see things from years ago, "they are not a joke. They are real. The Winds that Walk are terrifying spirits that eat the flesh of men, elves, dwarves, or any other race that can think and talk. They float in the air and walk on legs that end in charred stumps that never touch the ground. Their heads are like that of elk or deer, but with maws lined with sharp crooked teeth and dripping with blood." The varki ranger blinks, coming back to the present, her eyes boring into Foxglove's. "Pray you never meet one, Lord Foxglove, for only the gods can keep you form madness then," she says, clutching at the pendant that hangs from her neck.

Sesi makes no apologies beyond shrugging while wearing a fools grin at Lia. === Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 He's got to be lying... maybe. Sesi decides to make it a point to talk to Pendrix later about it. Bluff (To keep a straight face): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 "Tell me, Lord Foxglove, what do you know of the Winds that Walk," she asks in a dark, somber voice. I don't want to step on any toes, so I'll see what the GM says before continuing on, and having Sesi crack up half-way through.

"Oh, it's not so bat as all that," Sesi says to Lia, unable to help herself, or keep the grin on her face from growing, "though I must admit I did cave rather swiftly to this urge to parrot the foxy gentleman coming into the bloom of manhood in his punnery. Hat I gnome ewe didn't enjoy this sort of wordplay, I wood have found some other tack to chew on." By the end of it, the Varki ranger is grinning ear to ear, and her eyes are twinkling with delight.

Sesi finishes off her breakfast, feeling a little better with a hot meal and some mead in her belly. "My, Mr. Foxglove, you have quite a pheasant sense of humor. I hope you don't find my companions or me boaring, or fowl. I'm not so shrew our day is foal, but I'll defer to Karst on this, lest he think me some vulture barbarian," Sesi says with a grin. I regret nothing!

"Agreed," Sesi mutters as she follows the others out. The drizzle is enough for her to forget the festivities after the goblin raid. Once Hemlock makes it clear they aren't needed, she heads back to the Rusty Dragon. "I've never liked rain," she says to no one in particular as they make their way back, "Too cold, too damp, and it seeps into your bones so slowly you don't even realize it until you start shivering."

Sesi scowls at the state the crypt is in. Whoever had left the skeletons for them had also done this, and disrespecting the dead, to be blunt, was not a wise thing to do when a Varki might find out. "So, anyone know why they'd want the bones laid here?" She asks the question in a voice as cold and pitiless as the plains of Windhome.

The fight done, Sesi chants a short verse and light begins to shine from her sword's blade as she runes her fingers down it. "Figured it'd be better to have some light in case of any more nastiness waiting for us," she mutters before heading into the mausoleum.

"Lemme go make myself more presentable and I'll go with you. I should have plenty to chose from," she laughs as she motions to the pile of clothes and robes that she'd won the night before. After drinking the coffee and a lot of water, she is definitely feeling better. Assuming he lets her... Sesi comes back downstairs dressed in dark clothes that wouldn't be out of place in a thieve's or assassin's guild, save the symbol of Desna hanging from her neck. She carries her sword and bow along with her arrows. "Well, I'm ready when you guys are," she says in a chipper mood.

Sesi sniffs at the drink before taking a sip of it and jerking wide awake as the bitter taste hits her tongue. Before she can comment on that, she keenly feels the splitting headache that causes her to see white flashes when she moves. "My head," she groans as she clutches it and slowly lowers it to rest on the table. On the plus side, she is awake.

The glare that Sesi gives Lia from under the hat is enough to give just about anything pause, but the fuzzy memories of the looks of dismay as she won hand after hand brings a smile to her face. "Some poor fellows decided to teach me how to play Towers. After a few hands, they said we'd be playing Strip Towers. Didn't lose a hand," she tells Lia with a laugh, that's soon replaced with a groan of agony as her her headache decides to kick it up a notch or two. "Ne'er drinkin' like that again!"

Bethana finds Sesi splayed out on one of the benches by the long tables, a blue wizard's hat on her head. Around her is a pile of empty mugs and bottles as well as the clothing of some young men that had invited her to a game of Towers after she'd gotten drunk. Desna must have been smiling on the young Varki ranger as she managed to win every hand, and giving the nature of her winnings, the young men had obviously been trying to get the young woman naked. "Shush. Not so loud, m'head will 'splode," she tells the halfling woman when she tries to wake her up.
