Adir:
"I understand, thank you friend Bloodmoon." The words sound sincere, though the speed at which it says them suggests that any understanding ithe has is surface at best. "But I do not understand why everyone still seemed... displeased? After I had dispatched Razor, why did they still react as they did to my removal of his parts? Have we not always removed anything of value from our enemies?"

Servitor stares across the table to Stalwart. "Yes, you may sit. What is it you wish to speak of?" The warforged in its standard lack of good etiquette skips any form of introduction itself.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor nods slowly, slow enough that the lack of understanding becomes clear. "Yes, that is why I destroyed it. It no longer served any purpose but its own, that perversion from its duty turned itself from taking the suffering of the fleshwalkers and bearing it itself, to denying this task and instead seeking to be the cause of this suffering." Servitor speaks the words slowly as though talking to a child, unsure if what it's communicating will be understood.

Servitor dutifully replies. "Because it is not justice." Servitor lets out a small utterance of pain as it begins working on a different wound, the healing magic taking care of the majority of the wound left behind by Razor. The machine works in relative silence. "Perhaps because of... Provost Bonal? I..." Servitor breaks its own silence, still deep in tone but almost timid before lapsing back into it. "No, I do not know. Friend Bloodmoon, I do not understand what has happened. Destroying Razor was a fulfillment of my purpose, a removal of a source of suffering in this world has done nothing to please me, I do not feel as though this was my purpose..." Servitor looks up suddenly, excited? "Sorcery! That is it, isn't it? Razor cast some kind of sorcery to try and save itself before the end. That is why we all felt so empty, disturbed." Servitor nods, seeming satisfied with the answer.

Welcome Kinad! I'll take a look at your sheet next chance I get.

Meanwhile, finished leveling Servitor up:

Class:
Armor Master Fighter

Class Ability:
Armor Training 1

Feat:
Improved Charge

Gear Purchased:
Masterwork Transformation Spell on Sledge (350 GP)
+1 Enchantment on Sledge (2,000 GP) once I got the WBL bonus.

During his downtime, Servitor will repair himself first and foremost so I'm back to full HP, will take about 32 hours. Time after that will be spent fulfilling his promise of turning Razor's remains into crude jewelry and attempting to sell that, for what little good that will do. If he has extra time after that? Uh... ? I'll cross that bridge if I come to it.

Here here Tierney, that was a good one!

And thanks Adir, it honestly just kind of rankled my feathers to see an accusation be levied at Adir like that over discontent voiced from actions Adir had no part in. Fine if Uriah wanted to take issue with Servitor or Jarot, we're not exactly going to be great friends with the average paladin. Hell, I'd even give a slight pass to taking a shot at Tierney just because he hasn't been as vocal as Adir, even if it'd still irritate me a bit. But taking a shot at Adir just seemed petty, so I wasn't going to just let that one slide without a word.

Working on leveling up Servitor as we speak, should have the exacts done soon Mason.

Jarot:
Servitor listens to the alchemist speak of his troubles, and its troubles, and generally just stares at Jarot. Its eyes stare unblinking, unflinching, just meeting Jarot's gaze. "Thank you friend Jarot. I... need time to think on this." Servitor walks off slowly, peeling bug corpses from its metal frame.

Servitor takes the remaining trip and celebration quietly.

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 2
Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 13

After some time, he approaches Jarot. "Friend Jarot, may we speak?" Servitor retreats to its room, and quietly sits down, and begins to repair itself.

Same note as Jarot, spoilering, but anyone's free to read. :)

Jarot:
"Friend Jarot. What happened to Razor does not appear to be what is bothering me. I have been contemplating my actions, and I have been seeking to rid the world of all who took Friend Bonal's life from him. Yet despite riding the world of most of the attackers and Razor itself, why do I feel no... completion? I have fought and defeated dangerous criminals on several occasions now, but it gives me no sense of purpose, no completion. I was hoping that you could help me determine why this is..." Finding itself incapable of reaching into the deep stab wound left by Razor, Servitor pries its own chest open a bit further with a similar brutality as he did to Razor, though with considerable more effort and pain.

"When I was... born, I signed a contract to work in the mines. Soon, I began to dread every moment following the last. Days meant nothing, all that you did was mine and mine and mine, there was no sun to tell the passing of time. I hated every moment as me and my brothers toiled away in the dark with no end in sight and no personal driving force. My brothers all spoke of past occupations, dreams for the future, things I could not understand. Eventually I was caught in one of the many mine collapses, my frame and strength kept me conscious through the event. And I could only help but wonder 'why?' Why was it that I had to suffer so? Why did my brethren have to suffer so? Once they dug us out and began repairing us, I asked one of the guards who worked there. His response defines me, as he simply told me it was my place to do so.

It may seem a simple thing, but suddenly I understood. Humans could not have survived the cave in, humans could not have survived the pockets of poisonous gas that we found from time to time, humans do not have the strength or endurance to mine effectively even. For every ounce of suffering I had felt, I spared a human the same suffering two-fold, and this is what I was built for. This was the reason I was given life, it is my place, to suffer in the stead of you fleshwalkers, what clearer meaning could I derive from being 'warforged?' As your tale tells, it is of little joy for the soldiers who fight in the wars, or even for those who just support them to be in the war. So I was created, my people were created, to excel in battle and suffer in the place of your kind. Yet in doing so, find purpose, and lessen the suffering of the world.

This is why I cannot abide Razor and those who think like it, they do not understand their place. And because of this they lay blame upon fleshwalkers for the troubles born from their own hearts, stealing, killing, rebelling for a satisfaction they will never find in their blindness. Never once, do they realize that the role set out before the warforged is one of the greatest boons of our condition: we never have to suffer as your kind does, wondering what meaning our lives have. This is why I do not understand. I have removed Razor, and his ilk from this world. Yet why do I not feel satisfaction? Why do I not feel as though I have completed my purpose once more? I removed suffering, yet more than ever I feel incomplete for it.

If your research could be furthered at all through me Friend Jarot, do not hesitate to ask. I am warforged, I am Servitor, it is my duty and my joy to serve, doubly so for a friend."

Okay, moving forward to the coming entrance of Adir, I leave it in your hands whether Servitor and Jarot are still talking when he arrives, Jarot.

Craft Blacksmithing: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

As the knock resounds on the door, Servitor stands and opens the threshold. Before Adir stands the massive warforged, chest splayed open and painfully similar in look to the end that Razor met. "Friend Bloodmoon, please, enter."

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

That's just not true on Adir's part. He attempted to solve the conflict with the highwaymen before the party fully formed by intimidation and coercion and not brute force. He's admonished Servitor for the scene just now with Razor. Anytime we've encountered a group of enemies for the first time who aren't just mindless bugs or automatons, Adir has sought the peaceful resolution if it's at all reasonable to do so. There's a reason I had Servitor more or less ask Adir for permission to execute Razor because it has become obvious that if anyone was going to raise a complaint and stop him it would be Adir (and in the end, despite getting the go ahead, the methodology still invoked Adir to step in and raise a complaint).

Personally I also have to emphasize that Servitor itself is also on the do-gooder desire list. There's a reason that despite the atrocities he's committed I still have Servitor down as a Lawful Good character. He's not born of human instinct, nor have hardly any training in human society or culture. Servitor has no idea that there's such a thing as a "war-crime" as he's not been taught nor is the idea as simple as instinct to it. But that does not preclude a desire to be a moral being, it just means that he's got no frame of reference beyond his own introspection which is limited to where his role in the world is. Take that for what you will, but if given sufficient time to observe, learn and study, Servitor will eventually become almost obnoxiously paladin levels of goody-two-shoes, it's just going to take coaching for him to learn the nuances of these things.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

I can only speak for myself, but yes, Servitor is quite done with that. He was only so extreme with Razor due to his lust for vengeance against him in particular. And as mentioned, Servitor has come to realize that the whole vengeance thing didn't really do anything to either solve problems or make him feel better. So he's pretty well done. He'll still need to be told by somebody that there's a difference between dismantling a warforged for parts and looting a body traditionally, otherwise that will continue. But I did make Servitor to be malleable to other character's whims because I wanted the other players to be role models and guides for Servitor as Adir suggested.

If Uriah isn't comfortable with this, I can understand. I the player was not really comfortable with it either, Servitor was just a character in which the circumstance demanded it. My mother and sister are writers, and I participate in this heritage recreationally, and have served as the editor of a literary magazine. Sometimes I'm driven to tell a story not because I even really think its fun or enjoyable, but because I find satisfaction in exploring tales that help me solidify my own understandings of what it is to be moral or to be human.

So no, it's not likely Servitor will ever revel in such brutality again. And while I know dictating the actions of other people's characters is generally a cardinal sin in RPGs, Servitor was literally made with this in mind. So please, as Uriah raise your voice and tell Servitor that he's basically committed horrific war crimes against Razor, and he'll fall in line with that. And turning Razor into scrap metal was not about the money so much as the story, I thoroughly expect Mason to tell me they don't really sell for anything since crude metal bracelets sold by a 7 charisma warforged aren't exactly going to sell like hotcakes. And if we start jumping too far ahead in WBL, I'm sure Mason will rein us in as needed, he's got the GM toolbag at his disposal and the power of fiat at his disposal if we ever start taking too many doors. ;)

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Scary thing is, Servitor DID believe that Razor was truly alive, and if a human skin happened to have good resale value it'd do it just as willingly to him as it did it to Razor. It's the understanding of the sanctity of sentient life that Servitor is missing. As far as its concerned, yes Servitor understand you shouldn't just go killing people pel mel, but its on the same level of breaking someone's prized vase to him: Generally not a good thing to do, but if they tried to break your vase first, and are kind of jerks in general, they probably just have it coming at this rate. Being a constructed item in addition to a living being makes the line a bit blurry to him. This was really just the same as looting the highwaymen to Servitor. Yeah you normally aren't supposed to take people's stuff but the dead don't need it. And Razor was immobile and going to die so it really was effectively already dead, so no reason not to start the looting ahead of time.

But yes, Servitor could definitely use some schooling on traditional philosophy and such for people to help him understand why everyone freaks out when he does these things.

lol, but I ain't been kissin' no gurls!

Servitor nods. "I apologize, Friend Bloodmoon. I will correct the order in which I was doing this." Servitor turns its hammer towards Razor and bludgeons it brutally to death, then returns to stripping the metal.

Response to Jarot coming soon, need time to think of a good response to this.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

And well horrified Uriah should be, he'd be either extremely jaded, or rockin' some anti-social personality disorder if he wasn't horrified. But reading about the warforged the world seemed to really try and emphasize how alien the thought-processes normal to the warforged is on average. As part of that I tried to look to non-human thought processes, not for morality justification, but for a frame of reference for the brutal yet naive nature of Servitor.

Servitor's hands stop immediately at Tierney's interjection. "I apologize Friend Tierney, I have misunderstood the will of this group. I was under the impression that we agreed that he was to die due to his likelihood to attack us again if left alive. Speaking with Friend Bloodmoon, we decided that its death would be delayed until we spoke with it and learned what we could from it. Friend Jarot just suggested that the interrogation was over, and that I should be the one to finish Razor's 'judgement.' So I decided to fulfill the promise I had made to Razor and remove its chassis to turn into jewelry later. I am a smith of tools, so my work may not be worth much for beauty, but hopefully, the money we raise from this can be used to further an attempt to pay for Provost Bonal's resurrection... if I am not too late."

Figure this seems a good time to reveal this plan of Servitor's to the party.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Ouch! lol... Yeah, guess I'm not that empty...

But Servitor has definitely been an interesting challenge for me RP-wise. Reading lines in the book describing warforged such as "They fight fiercely and usually without remorse..." and "In general, the humanoid races of Khorvaire regard the warforged as an unpleasant reminder of the brutality of the Last War and avoid dealing with them when possible." It made sense to me that warforged, lacking the instinct to protect their fellow pack animals and only kill as a matter of last resort, and instead being created for no other purpose but to fight and kill would be prone to acts of extreme brutality and barbarism when angry.

Once I was walking around my neighborhood and caught sight of a hawk which had caught a flicker. Unfortunately, despite hawks typically killing their prey on their first strike, the flicker had survived the initial strike only to be eaten alive slowly by the hawk. The hawk probably only found this inconvenient, or perhaps dangerous to itself, rather than finding itself morally horrified by its actions. Given that the warforged are definitely more predators than prey, more machine than pack animal, I've tried to encapsulate this mentality in Servitor.

Oh, and if anyone wants to stop Servitor part way through this butchery, by all means feel free to make a post saying you do such, as Servitor will listen to his "masters." I just said I did it from start to finish in one post because I really didn't want to draw it out. But if anyone says they interject into this brutality, that's totally okay by me.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

If it makes anyone feel better, Servitor has learned that vengeance makes him feel empty inside! O_o I feel wrong having written that too...

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor sniffs with contempt at Razor's feeble declaration of his master's honor. Servitor knew his masters rarely honored him, he needed no such comfort. Weak. "Bracelet, or necklace?" The question rings out a final time as Servitor begins quite literally ripping Razor to pieces, its adamatine hands easily piercing and ripping the metal off of the wooden base of Razor a chunk at a time until he's completely stripped. If somehow Razor stays conscious throughout the entirety of this, he is finished at last with a blow from Servitor's hammer. "...I'm sorry I could not do more to him, Provost Bonal..." Why do I feel so... dissatisfied? Looking towards the party, Servitor speaks, its inflection mirroring Adir's slightly, "Friend Bloodmoon, Friend Tierney, Friend Uriah, I apologize if my actions have disturbed you."

"What do we do with the Schema?" Servitor asks stoically, changing the subject drastically as it begins gathering Razor's pieces together. "Friend Uriah suggests we destroy it. As I have sided against his mastery last, I am compelled to listen to it now." Once gathered, Servitor begins placing all of the junk metal into the compartment in its torso.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

I'm waffling hard on what Servitor's alignment should be, though I'm thinking I'm still going to go with a rather grim interpretation of a Lawful Good. Playing the "I'm a robot and violence doesn't really bother me since I'm built to commit it" thing is kind of hard to justify LG sometimes, but his heart's in the right place, even if he's currently considering "skinning" Razor and selling him for scrap... Adamantine is worth good money... :P

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Keeping up the dark... what materials are used in Razor's chassis?

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor spins back around and reaches towards Razor, but stops himself, remembering Uriah's words. "A fool indeed... You claim we are superior and yet you claim that we are weak? So we are weak when it suits your morality but superior when it suits your ego! Hypocrite! Of course they lead me to kill! I. Am. WARFORGED! My purpose is to kill, and I will fulfill it! But my killing is pure because I kill for those whom I protect, those who command it, those too weak to survive its rigors. I am a warrior who does not fight for himself, not like you! Not like your ilk who kill for their own profit and then call it 'justice!'" Seeing as Razor seems intent on only talking to him, Servitor repeats Uriah's question for him. "WHAT. DOES. THE SCHEMA. DO!?"

Should I throw an intimidate check? I do believe this is beginning to just be an interrogation. Or shall we just RP it out?

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

If only the machine could take a calming breath. "As you say, Uriah."

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor wrenches the tools in his hand, twisting and pulling back the repair work he had just finished. "No! It is you who does not understand! You admit that we were made with a purpose and yet you would deny that purpose!? Do you think that all who serve their masters do so out of cowardice? Do you think that the flesh walkers serve their gods only out of fear? Or have you ever had the thought cross your feeble yet arrogant mind that perhaps some might understand that they were created with a purpose and will serve to fulfill this purpose!?" The warforged grabs the bound assassin by the throat. "NO! It is you who is the fool! It is you who fights, kills, betrays out of defiance, thinking it might make you happy! Blind to the fact that there are those around you who have already found such happiness through service and require no constant drive for blood and destruction to chase a happiness that is but a dream!" Servitor leans in close and snarls at its prey. "Yes, I am strong. Yes, I do not bear the weaknesses of the fleshbound. Yes, I may even be superior to them. But the strong should protect the weak, not tyrannize them for their own petty gratification, scum!" Servitor slams Razor back down onto the table and turns away, clearly still furious. "But I'd hardly expect for you to understand any of this."

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor stares down at Razor impassively. "You are awake, good. I grew tired of repairing you. Bracelet, or necklace?" Servitor repeats its question.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

The warforged similarly takes a while to reply. "We shall revive it, once we are done with our... extraction of the information, I shall bring justice to this."

Servitor works with Jarot on Razor, attempting to learn and decode all that has happened.

Craft Blacksmithing: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

As he works, Servitor speaks bluntly. "If it is your wish Adir Bloodmoon, I will revive this thing... But if possible, I wish to see him destroyed utterly in the end. Even the mines could not give this thing the time and darkness of introspection that saved me from my ignorance."

Sorry for disappearing yesterday guys, had a 16 hour day, didn't really even have time to post to say I couldn't post. Doubt I'll be that busy again anytime soon though. Having breakfast and some coffee, and I'll be posting here soon.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor struggles to its feet, feeling invigorated by the healing provided by Jarot, but says nothing to him as its eyes stay focused entirely on the assassin. "Would you prefer a necklace, or a bracelet?" The warforged asks its nemesis cryptically, possibly downright mad sounding if the previous threats had not been heard as the hammer once more swings into action.

I think I'm up, vaguely, correct me if I'm wrong.

Servitor stirs as the oracle's magic struggles through it willing life into its inanimate form. It couldn't achieve life in the strictest of senses, but it managed to achieve movement, and that was good enough. Servitor looks about weakly, wondering what happened. ...Cave in? No, too bright, there's... what? WHAT!? Servitor's hand grasps its weapon and swing viciously from its spot on the ground, far more worried about striking Razor than anything else.

Power Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23 Seems a good place to use a Hero Point!
Damage: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (6, 4) + 9 = 19

"You..." The machine growls, still slowed, weak, and damaged, but conscious and awake.

Yep, HP is right, so Servitor's going down. Though I think my lack of blood to bleed makes me more or less immune to bleed out.

Servitor falls to the ground in a pile, not moving, not responding.

Servitor looks a bit confused at the demand, but obliges as he sets down his hammer and offers his hands in the classic "boost" position. The prospect of touching Servitor, covered head to toe in crushed dead bugs is perhaps not the appealing of ideas at the moment, but little things like that won't stop Servitor from offering!

Blagh, hate being that guy who's always apologizing for holding things up. Sorry everyone! Servitor is done contemplating his navel for a while and is back in action! Do I need to roll a fort save if I took no damage ah lah DR?

Servitor stares at the bug horde for a moment before suddenly falling flat onto his back then begins rolling around on the ground furiously.

Whoops, sorry people, forgot I had the ring of plot progression!

Servitor looks at the problem, and says with rather predictable thinking "Perhaps I should climb down the rope. I will run my back against the wall and crush the insects as I go. It should deal with most of them and scatter the rest most likely." Then turning and looking to Uriah, Servitor asks in its monotone voice. "Uriah, what is it you fight for if not those around you? I follow the will of the race whom created me, and many of your comrades work together with me in this. Yet while you have not shirked the duty, you have not done so willingly it seems. What is it that you have been fighting for then?"

Servitor uncaps two of the potions of light repair that it's kept on itself and swallows the potions.

Repair Light Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Repair Light Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

"I am still damaged, Tierney, but I will be fine. I will repair myself tonight." The machine stares at the corpses bobbing along in the water. "But how did they know to find us here? Isn't the only known route here with the journal?" Servitor comments oddly perceptively.

Just confirming, I'm currently grappled by the lizard guy, yes? Or is this more like the wolf trip deal? I'd like to reroll damage if so, Servitor would just keep swinging the hammer from the floor.

Servitor doesn't seem to hear the surrender command, or at the very least is in no mood to listen to it as he slams his knee into the lizard man.

Power Attack (Slam): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

I really hope that and the acid are enough to drop this guy...

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor takes the hit again and flinches.

Just to be a rules monkey, is this factoring in penalties for firing into melee? The guy probably has Precise Shot but a man can dream. :P

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor just edged out on that trip as his CMD is 16 right now. Added to stats.

Servitor retaliates and brings its hammer down on the lizard thing, shocked by the amount of pain the bite caused.

Power Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Damage: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (2, 2) + 9 = 13

And that'll teach me to complain about not getting hit that often! Ouch!

Round 2

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

Servitor does what it does best, charge forward and hit things with a hammer. Though brutally effective and proving its "breeding" as a warforged, the machine's rather simplistic mode of fighting that shows its lack of experience.

Charge: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
Damage: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (2, 2) + 9 = 13

Crit Confirm?: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
Extra Damage: 4d6 + 18 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 1) + 18 = 29

Moving to A2, slightly diagonal, but if I'm looking at the templates for line spells appropriately, should still count... and the dice freakin' love Servitor... If only all my characters rolled this well.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Anytime you see that the sewer gets a turn in the initiative order, cry.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor trudges forward and splashes into the muck, pushing in the direction the arrows came from.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Does my flat-footed condition also make this difficult terrain? Or should I presume full movement? Should end up at K3 or G3 respectively.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor shakes its head. "No, Jarrot Tennet. Please, you have proven your valor already today. Let me take the front, I will take the risk. If I find a trap, I will notify you so that you may disable it."

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 5

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor passively follows directly behind the Gnoll as the beast leads them on.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Servitor stands to the side and watches the proceedings. "These things are true, but I did not ask Tierney." Servitor apparently doesn't know what to do with a wink though.

Warforged Armor Master 3| AC 19 T 11 FF 18 | HP 37/37 | F +7 R +2 W +1 | CMD: 17 | Init +1| Perc +0

Can do boss!

Round 4

Power Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Damage: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (5, 6) + 9 = 20

Servitor sags as he sees another of the fleshy ones drop. How do these things possess such bravery? The hammer sings forth again as it forces its way through the wind.
