The group I DMed for spared her once she "snapped" and lost her bloodlust. They interrogated her (non-violently) and then brought her to Kaer Maga with a small pouch of gold coins to give a chance at escaping Red Mantis retribution and start a new life. One of my players found her intriguing enough to ask for her stats and backstory to use as an NPC. She now has made her way to the Stolen Lands and serves as the spymaster for our Kingmaker game
Thank you all for the input. The DM admitted he read the spell wrong and made a new ruling on it.
Had a question regarding the range of spells. Will use an example that came up in our game. The Technomancer of the party cast Life Bubble on the group earlier in the in-game day. Later on in the day our Operative left the party to scout out a target building we would be assaulting. When the Operative left, did he lose the effects of the spell when he made it 30 feet away from the party (referring to the target range) or when he stepped away 100+ feet (referring to the range of the spell) or does he not lose the effects of the spell at all? Our DM ruled it that when anyone us is 30 feet away from the party the spell goes out for the individual who stepped away. While I understand why he would want to do that but it seems very wrong and I am hoping to show him some clarification to see if he would change his mind |
