With only one foe left standing, Sera grins devilishly as even more dark energy pours forth from her diminutive frame toward the lizardman.

As the lizardman who dare strike her is consumed in flame and steel, Sera whirls towards the other, a fiendish grin etched on her blood covered face.

When the spear scores a line of blood across Sera's ribs, an unearthly howl of pain echoes from within the small woman, her eyes flare a deep red and blackish flames erupt from the waters around the offending lizardman.

At Glenda's exclamation, Sera turns to see the giant python having exploded from the waters. Slightly panicked because she doesn't want to be eaten, she fires off a blast at the snake and prepares to unleash the hellish flames in case it attacks her as well.

Sera isn't quite sure how to strike her powerful poses without breaking their attempt at stealth. When the archers begin their volley's, she exhales audibly as it means she would not be accused of ruining whatever plan the martial minds had developed. Striking one of her more stable poses (they were still on a boat after all), she lets loose a blast of energy at whichever one has arrows suddenly sprout from its fleshy bits.

If we aren't going to try and attack while the boat is in water, we've no choice but to wait until they hit some form of land. Sera whispers in response. The only issue there is we would likely then need to deal with an entire tribe as opposed to the few around the boat. So do we risk the potential upheaval of the boat and approach now, or risk the wrath of an entire tribe?

With Glenda having snagged the coin purses, Sera mindlessly taps out Row, Row, Row your boat on the side of their craft.

Sera turns towards the toad still assaulting the group and fires off another blast of energy.

Why such a need to optimize? Why not find a concept and just go with what fits?

At Rakish's warning, Sera looks towards the toads, noticing its beady eyes focused hungrily on her. A variety of emotions flash across her, from fear, to anger, to curiousity. She unleashes her pew pew posing, firing off a blast of eldritch energies, before popping her finger in her mount, Nope, don't taste like candy.

While I'm perfectly OK with waiting, a problem with getting distracted away from something like this is once its no longer part of your routine, it is difficult to find a reminder to check back in.

Sera grumbles as the lizardman shakes off her sleep, but strikes her magical girl pose, determined not to let it escape and warn his companions. Lining up a shot with the best of her abilities, she waits until she has a shot before firing off one of her pinkish power projectiles.

Sera kept quiet while Rakish tried to negotiate, hoping lizardman to lizardman would have better results. When the foe turns to flee, pink sand begins to flow from her hands, and with a clap, she causes an explosion of the grains around the fleeing lizard.

Sera spends her time looking for fishes in the water, oblivious of whatever was going on with the reeds people were commenting on. Hey guys, do we mind if we're spotted, cuz there's a scout right THERE! she says, making a giant pink arrow marking the lizardfolk with her Prestidigitation.

Do we think waiting would be best? The longer we wait, the more often the lizardfolk who took the people will get hungry... not sure I want to tell the town we lost someone because we were afraid of the dark... says Sera quizzically. Though I will go by what the team wishes.

Lol, no worries, you just made all the same checks I did, so rather than repeat what you said, I just had her get slightly miffed over not being as useful :D

Also, I'm heading out to camp for the weekend, so if things come up, no need to wait for me, feel free to bot her as needed. Basically think of what a 6 year old would do and let'er rip! lol

Sera tries to make a stern warface when "the hunt" begins, though her diminutive size and inability to maintain one emotion for longer than a minute causes her to give up on that, and begin focusing on trying to touch the tip of her nose with her tongue.

Sera follows the others as they begin spreading out and scanning the area. She notices the drag marks in the rear of the house moments after Rakish makes his announcement. So caught up in him one upping her, she fails to let the others know of the seemingly loose floorboard until after the lizardman does the same. Not being a petty crook, she doesn't bother to remove the gold and gems found there, hoping to return the owners to their home, and it wouldn't do for their saviors to have plundered their residence.

At Glenda's comment, Sera crouches low to look at Rakishes feet, and compares the tracks he is making with those of the interlopers. Do you think the lizardfolk are being set up? That a band of petty crooks are concealing their nefarious actions under the guise of rampaging lizardmen? I wonder how hard it would be to fit claw bits on the underside of a boot? Maybe they took the bigger farm animals because they would be easier to sell to a butcher? Fascinating!

Sera ponders Rakish's reaction, and remembering when she herself threatened to have him eat some people. Ultimately deciding that the lizardman would NEVER eat her, she's far too cute to be dinner.

Yeah, its one thing to fleece a government or wealthy aristocrat, its quite another to squeeze poor townsfolk who are just trying to survive. adds Sera as she gets ready to head out.

Sera blanches at Ravveks declaration to kill all those responsible. She turns on him, glaring up at him from her diminutive stature, Now Justice is all well and good, but ALL those responsible is a bit much don't you think? The parents of those missing are responsible, because if they hadn't played hide the oinker, the people missing would never have been around to go missing. If the herbalist and medicine women who helped them when they were sick hadn't cured them, they wouldn't have been in the location they were to have been taken. Thal's Balls, if they themselves hadn't chosen to do whatever it is they were doing when they were taken, they wouldn't have been taken! ALL is such a definitive and specific declaration, and I know how some people are with their vows. How about we say if you cant bring back those missing alive, you'll dole out vengeance on the ones who caused the fatal wounds. That would absolve those who participated in the lives of those missing from your fury? She then looks around a bit, shrugs with a lopsided smile and adds, What, contract law is something I have a lot of experience with.

You're helping too?!? she charges the lizardman as if to bury him in a giant hug, only to stop a few feet before, remembering protocol and other such silliness. Turning around to lead him to the rest of the group, Sera senses the unease in the room, GUYS, this is Rakish, he's a friend, and has saved my life a few times, and I've saved his! I don't know what's going on, but he's one of the good guys!

@Krissina I'd be perfectly fine with you having received the official invitation, with Sera have one of those "Hey, I know that guy, can I come too?" moments. Given her personality, I doubt a business relation of her parents would turn to her specifically for help.

Sera, being a merchant by trade, would likely take option 1. her family may have had a business arrangement with Master Kal.

Sera will spend her downtime doing nothing productive! You're pretty sure you hear a story about a band of amazingly strong adventurous folk defeating a massive wyrm and it's army of plague zombies....

Sera seems conflicted between the happiness of a job well done, and the sorrow over killing such a rare beastie as a dragon... until she realizes she just help KILL A DRAGON! She soon is bouncing between her companions retelling the story of what they just saw like a small child. And then Rakish went... and then I said... He was all oh no!.. and KERSPLAT!

Sera pays the scroll a little mind, instead looking over the dragon corpse. Hey Rakish? Any chance your carving thingamabobs could turn a few of these teeth into a necklace or something? I feel the defeat of my first dragon deserves a bit of a trophy.

When Ellison comments about justice, she chimes in We were just told to bring back the books. I don't recall anything having been mentioned about the thief? If you have anything that might convince us, we may be persuaded to, oh I don't know, thoroughly examine that lair over their for a good few minutes...

Sera seems Rakish burst into action, a quirky smile creases her lips, as pinkish sand begins to stream from between her fingers.

Sera starts to make a motion to halt the group, the stops, deep in thought. She repeats this pattern, town between the lagging strength of her companions, and the wisdom of pressing forward to finish the job. so caught up in this back and forth, she doesn't notice that she managed better control of her magics this time.

At least if you die, you'll get raised for free! silver lining to a crappy situation...

Sera watches a Drakr falls, her magic again flaring up, AAhhh, I.. am in.. control..! she forces out between clenched teeth. Focusing on the one that captured Drakr, she fires off a magical blast, trying not to further injure Drakr. In doing so, her blast goes wide and scorches the sewer walls.

Pretty sure with how twitchy Sera was, as soon as Rakish made any aggressive moves, she'd have joined in, in attacking, but oh well.

Sera needs no encouragement when attacks start to fly toward the approaching crawlers, striking her pose and letting a blast fly off toward the beasties.

Sera takes the offered scarf and wraps it around her face. It clearly helps, but the diminutive halfelf is still quite jumpy, firing off eldritch blasts at furry rats, fat spiders, gnarled logs, and anything else that vaguely resembles a non-party member.

When the ground spots the undulating shapes, she is about to fire off yet another blast before someone grabs her arm to hold her fire. She is tempted to stick her tongue out at them, but then remembers where she is and decides better.

Eewwww, we need to go into the sewers?!? Like where all the... she says before starting to almost vomit. Are we sure we have to? she asks, a bit paler now. Before they can answer, a quiet, But I don't want to... squeaks out.

With the shadows being far more resilient than one would expect from the absence of light, Sera does her best to put some light back into the remaining thing... pink light... that explodes!

When posting out of initiative order, I find it best to let the GM decide where to place the shot, as someone who posts after me, but goes before me, may finish off the declared target. This is a game of cooperative storytelling, so if a DM ever tried to pull a "gotcha" because of that, there would be much to discuss in the discussion thread :D

Not being a book studier, Sera sticks closer to Krissina, thinking her bardic study may help her find things.
