So I think this is the proper forum for this post. I'm going to be playing a TWF (Starknives) Warpriest of Desna. I'm lookong for some advice on where I should take the build and maybe even a possible timeline for taking feats. It's 25 point buy-in and I'm playing a human. No 3rd Party feats.

Bucklers specifically work with Slashing Grace, per FAQ, so there's no reason that it shouldn't work for Fencing Grace.

Unhindering Shield's description is a bit odd, as Bucklers are already called out as working fine alongside the Swashbuckler's Precise Strike.

So would I lose the buckler's AC bonus then?

A buckler does not take up your hand, but it does count as using a shield. So anything that requires a free hand is good, but anything that says you can't be using a shield is a no-go.

My GM argues that since Unhindering Shield is a feat, then I would need to take that before I was to equip my buckler again since I am wanting to take Fencing Grace.

So, I'm playing an Inspired Blade. And I have a few rules questions:

1. Precise Strike: Is this added on to every hit, even AoOs?
2. I saw that Fencing Grace has been errated. Is there any other way to get Dex to damage from a feat, mind you I'm wielding a rapier and am aware of Agile.
3. When I take feats, do all my levels count as fighter levels or just when I take my bonus combat feats?
4. If I take Steadfast Personality, does that stack with Charmed Life?
5. For Opportune Perry and Riposte, does that only count when you are being attacked by a melee attack or all attacks? This one seems circumstational and up to the GM.
Thank you all!

1. Yup. Remember it's precision damage so it's not multiplied on critical hits.

2. I haven't seen the errata (can you provide a quote?), but the whole reason Paizo made that feat was so that Swashbucklers can get Dex to damage with a rapier. I can't imagine how it would be un-usable ...?
3. You count your full Swashbuckler level as your Fighter level for determining which feats you can choose, but only for the purpose of your bonus feats. For example: For your level 4 bonus feat you count as a level 4 fighter for the prerequisites of that feat, but for your level 5 feat (the feat everyone gets at level 5) you don't count as a fighter at all for the prerequisites of this feat (I could be wrong on this one so if someone contradicts me listen to them).
4. I'm pretty sure no. But since they don't stack you should be able to add your WIS+CHA on saves where you use your charmed life ability. This means that even if you only have a +1 WIS modifier then charmed life is still giving you a +1 on your save.
5. Only melee. I'll quote it:
Opportune Parry and Riposte (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent makes a melee attack against the swashbuckler, she can spend 1 panache point and expend a use of
...

I read an earlier post wrong so it is not errated. But another part to this then is that if I have a buckler equipped then does that mean that my other hand is not free?

Hi everyone! I have been playing a magus for a few books now and I was wondering if someone could clarify some things for me for spellstrike. So do I have to cast defensively if I am in front of an enemy or can I hold the spell in one hand for a round, move up for 5 feet so I get a full-round action, and then use spellstrike? Or can you just use spellstrike in front of an enemy without having to cast defensively? And after I use spellstrike do I get a free attack afterward without the spell on it? It is confusing a me a bit. If anyone has a visual guide on how this works, I learn better when it comes to these things with visual cues. Thanks Community for the help in advance!

Hey everyone! Thank you! Its been awhile since I've been on any website to post so I didn't take into consideration posting ettiquitte. This is actually my first post on the Paizo Threads so thank you for being so helpful! Again, thanks for the hint on posting and on my question.

So what about having Snap Shot and Improved Snap Shot? That gives you a threat range. Then you can flank because you threaten, which gives you sneak attack correct?
