Hi Arbalester. I want to build a mech by myself using the mech points system. My DM and I have looked at the rules and he has figured that I will have to be fourth level to start accumulating mech points at the first level tier, I would love to build a Cyclone, but instead of a wheeled version, it would be a hover bike . Also what about UPB’s? Can they be used to help with building mechs? Thank you for the interest and your comments.


I like your idea, as I want to build a Robotech Cyclone fighter. But is they any other suggestions for single player builds.


No one in the group wants to build a mech besides me. Which makes it difficult because of the Mech pool points.
Is their alternative rules for a single player to build their own mech?

My GM has informed me if I can find alternative rules for gathering mech points he will allow me to build it.

A question, I have an operative that has specialized in explorer. What I need to figure out is what are my total bonuses when I roll in an attempt to perform a trip attack. Example: I have a +11 survival. So do I apply the “Associated Skills: Culture and Survival. You can attempt a Survival check with a +4 bonus to make a trick attack by using your surroundings” from explore and would that equal a total bonus ( +11 “survival” + (+4 bonus) which would equal to a +15 when I make my roll?
