Good evening, so my players have decided to not only return the crown found at the Storval Stairs to the Pallgreve clan in Janderhoff, but help right whatever wrong was done to cause the crown to be lost in the first place, and return the clan to power in the process, for a future reward of course. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

I'm thinking of having the Pallgreves be a noble clan that was betrayed by members of the Janderhoff ruling council, lead by the current High Councilor, because they got too powerful, the last remaining Pallgreves spent what little fortune they had left on multiple expeditions to find the crown, including the Vekkers. Once the crown is returned, various magics would reveal the treachery and ultimately the party would find out that Lamias from Xin have been manipulating events to lure the dwarves to Karzoug through the council. Any suggestions on anything else I could add would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hey all, this is my first post and my first time DMing a campaign. The group has gotten all the way to the final book and are taking a moment to do some cleaning/tying up loose ends before the final push to Xin-Shalast. My question is about one of my players who has fully and enthusiastically embraced the sin of greed.

The character is a wizard and is this player's second character, the first being turned into something... odd. This unlucky wizard has been nearly constantly mocked by the other members of the party for failing to kill a single thing in 5 levels. As a result of this and his time in Runeforge, he has decided that he wants to come back after killing Karzoug and basically take over everything the Runelord owned in the name of gaining more power. I want to have either Karzoug or his apprentice appear and offer this character the chance to join with the forces of Greed in exchange for power, knowledge, wealth, etc. Just wanted to hear some feedback about whether or not to dangle this hook and how best to bait it.
