We are good to move on.

Taking a step back from the approaching goblin Sarvis once again misses wide.

Attack/Damage: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 72d4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 1) + 3 = 8

Sarvis moves up past Cornelious and stands in what remains of the goblin,

Attack green/Damage: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 112d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 1) + 3 = 6

"Nice work Cornelious, we wll need to wash you off after that one, he was messy!"

Sarvis moves up behind Cornelious, switching weapons and prepares his crossbow.

With too much traffic Sarvis is too careful of his companions to get a good strike in.

Sarvis moves up past Calathes,

Sarvis and Cornelious both move up to engage the first goblin they see and attack.

Ignoring the opened safe for now, Cornelious moves to the next set of double doors and opens them with Sarvis following behind.

Moving to the next door Cornelious squeezes in and opens the next door with Sarvis in close pursuit.

I hope no one minds me taking over the clearing of the building, I seem to post more then most as of late.

Cornelious moves to the next corner with Sarvis in hot pursuit,

"I think I hear something over here." he says in a heavy whisper to the others that are behind him.

"We need to keep moving and hopefully find someone to question."

Sarvis moves up to the door after hearing Ranna and attempts to open it, if it opens he lets Cornelious go in first and follows behind with weapon drawn, if it doesnt open we will attempt to force it, Cornelious and Sarvis.

"Scipio do you want to do the potential talking or do you want me to come in official with a snarling Cornelious?"

Waiting at the front door from an answer.

"Well everyone stay on your toes, who knows who or what is in here and we may surprise them."

"Ah yes there is that I suppose, I am not used to being the 'Law Man' up front and through the front works for me."

"Well how about you and Ranna go inside and Jim and all of us stay out here and peer in the windows and try to see if there is some foul play going on, what do you think Scipio?"

"How do we want to go about searching this place? I find it odd that its in full go mode in the middle of the night don't you?"

Looking to the others as he speaks.

"I am beginning to wonder how this town ever got a long without us..."

Sarvis says with a mild chuckle, not trying to be funny, but perhaps lighten a souring mood.

"These things so distant that I would also find it hard to believe that they are connected somehow, obviously an unmade bed is not indicative of goblins being involved, I would say if it was questionable circumstance that she would have messed her room up a bit."

Looking down to the little woman speaking to us,

"Yes M'am what can we do for you this evening?"

Do we need to look through the library still and go out goblin hunting with the ranger? I know I would like some revenge.

"You all go out the front and explain that he was killed, leave out the obviously terrible details, Cornelious and I will shove him out the window and make off with the body to the Graveyard or church? Im not sure what the do with bodies...and we will lay him to rest without the family having to see. I suppose Jim is still out there too so he may help. Maybe someone stay and clean the nasty up some?"

Sarvis stabs into the closet with his reach weapon attempting to get the creature out to better fight it.

"I will flush it out of there, everyone be ready"

Cornelious and Sarvis ready to attack if it appears aggressive.

I dont see a map or anything so... we will just go room by room counter clockwise then up or down stairs and do the same.

Sarvis looks to Cornelious,

"You go in first and I will follow you Cornelious!"

Cornelious leads Sarvis into the house.

"Yes lead the way already so we can take care of this creature and hopefully prevent further harm! Quickly let us be off!"

Weapon out and Cornelious ready to pounce.

"Come Cornelious let us go kill some more goblins or other strange creatures! Show us your home m'am."

Waiting for the woman to lead the way to her home.

"What is it miss?! What can we help you with??"

Jumping through the crowd, opening a way to get to the distressed woman.

"...Yes yes yes, all of those wonderful and epic stories are true. There we were, slowly getting off our mounts, hearing the beast closing in, thrashing and raging, closing faster and faster, looking to each of my companions, each with a look of determination, sweat on my brow, gripping my weapon tight, the leather gloves creaking, Cornelious looking back and forth wondering where they would come from. All of the sudden CRASH through the woods the animals came..."

Sarvis is telling the story over and over to whomever will listen, with grandiose arm gestures, spear thusting, facial expressions, exaggerating the details and heroism with each retell of the story.

"Hah! I knew we would be successful! Look at all this food, this will certainly keep the minds of the townsfolk off of the recent events even for a little bit and bring some joy back to the community. We could have easily taken twice as many boars or boars twice the size I would say. Good job Cornelious, we finished that boar in no time indeed, in fact good job everyone this we a great testament to our battle prowess and tactics."

Savis say beeming at everyone.

"This is great, I wonder how many boars we will get today, surely the heroes of Sandpoint will get their fair share of boar meat today!

I had considered using Cornelious as a pet, still can next level I suppose.

"Let us get this show on the road so to speak, we have a lot of mouths to feed and only so many hours," looking down at Cornelious, "Lets get going Cornelious this could be quite the day indeed!"

Sarvis keeps going through his things making sure everything is available should he need it, looking around at everyone over and over, obviously very excited for the hunt.

Waking up the next day extra early, excited, goes through his usual process of washing up and casting cantrips to finish getting ready. Heading down stairs Sarvis orders his breakfast, chats up with whoever happens to be there early party or townsfolk. Summoning Cornelious and getting his gear ready for the adventure.

"Well now that it is settled we can make our way to the library, finish our research and prepare for the hunt for tomorrow, have a feeling the heroes of Sandpoint won't disappoint!" At that he raises his fist in the air and give a shout looking to get the other towns folk involved in the cheering.
