"A Druid!" Samwise is uncharacteristically open with the newcomer. Perhaps it is the scent of the woods on the half-orc, perhaps the sense of curiosity about the half-elf's plans overcame the catfolk, or perhaps Sam's instincts could just sense something positive and familiar that put him at ease. "Could you share with us your professional opinion on the plan to regrow the Chitterwood. My name is Sam, by the way. This is Scratch, Daisy and Shin!"Just then something caught Samwise's attention!

"A quest..." Samwise said thoughtfully "surly a quest, like any adventure does not need an end. The journey is what makes it worthwhile" he smiles making his best effort to engage Daisy in pleasantries. "I do some hunting for the food served in the Inn and ensure the unpleasant patrons do not disrupt business. As a hunter and a catfolk, I love nature. Also as a man with a bond with the owner of the Drunken Silkwork, I will join your party if it is the best thing for Brathan" he raised his voice enough to be heard by the half-elf Crecimi."So," Samwise sips his whiskey carefully "Tell me of this quest you are on." The tail flicked nervously twice more as Samwise saw Shin lead the other catfolk over to him. Not comfortable with strangers, let alone crouds of them. It was good that Shin herself was coming too.

Of course Sam didn't know if the mistake was in fact a playful joke, but he though the possibility was high. He had almost forgotten about the joyful nature of his own race. Still nerves made Sam hold his tongue, only nodding to acknowledge the newcomer. Can Sam recognize the half-orc and the gnome are speaking Druidic? I'll roll Knowledge nature to see if I spot it. If you want something else just transfer the roll please

She looked around for someone to get to know. Of course the first person to catch her eye was Samwise, so she approached him with an outstretched hand and a simple, excited, "Hello!" Tentatively Samwise takes the hand of the stranger with his right hand, his left is strapped within his shield. "I am Samwise of the Zithembe tribe, though I am often simply called Sam. I do some work for the Inn." Samwise's eyes flick to Taigo and he wonders how long he should allow the drunkard to interrupt a process that would bring prosperity back to the Inn."So what brings a halfling into the Silkworm on such an unusual day?" He responds to Daisy, attempting to be friendly. Are you by chance acquainted with Samwise? He is a bit of a regular. Perhaps I could introduce you?" Samwise's ear's flick with the sound of his name. He would prefer if he Shinrin would not announce him to strangers. On the other had he had not seen a catfolk in years. He certainly had not seen a female one. His tail flicks nervously. @Shinrin - Samwise lives and works here, I don't know if you're saying a regular just to keep Sam's job a secret, or if this was a slip up. I'm just making you aware for RP purposes @GM - Samwise hasn’t announced his interest in joining the party. It’s because of his ongoing loyalty to the Inn and to Brathan. This doesn’t mean that he’s not interested. I had him talk to Brathan in the hope for an in
Samwise listened to the exchange of the patrons from his place at the end of the bar. Tiago's words were bitter and fueled by alcohol. The man's only saving grace was that he was also a coward. In truth Samwise was interested in the proposal of the elf, much like many of the other patrons, but enough questions had been asked of her already and Samwise had a loyalty to the inn. Waiting for the Innkeeper to pass him, Samwise leaned in to the older man and asked in a low tone

Second, this is a humanocentric campaign and as such a visibile Tiefling (the scales)would cause you to be classed as an outsider by the majority of folk. I wouldnt disallow it, but know it will have game ramifications. That's cool. I'll trade my made up trait. I made the character as someone who survives on the edges of society, so I think he'll work just fine in this regard. I'll look over the materials and see what I can do. What are the rules on multi-classing? Are the stats limits before of after racial modifiers?
How's this for a starter Character. It's based on 20 points buy and 3 traits (one of which was made up by another DM), and his backstory hasn't been tweaked to fit yours yet. Otherwise I think he fits your build for 'trapsmith'. As for myself I'm relatively new to pathfinder but I've plenty of experience in RPGing or PbP. I Have some of the Pathfinder Books and I'm currently playing as a half-giant fighter in RL.
