Background:
Six years ago young Samuel Transon's life changed forever. His parents were killed in a horrible blaze that consumed his family home, sparing only his younger sister. Truly Samuel was consumed by flames that day too. Consumed by the passion necessary to prevent such an event ever occurring again. His sister needed support, and he took up some of the responsibilities working at the village forge. Dedication and relentless labour carved him into a strong and focused young man, eager to defend his family, a greater conglomerate formed of the community that took him and his sister in.

Personality/Philosophy: Smith likes to be in control. It's not out of a source of maliciousness, but rather, Smith often feels himself as the best man suited for the job. He revels in responsibility, and often works harder and longer than is probably healthy for his psyche. He pushes himself into a kind of fervour at times, testing his body at it's limit, calling on all his reserves of energy to keep his guardian-like qualities running.
He feels that if he is in control, nothing bad can happen to others. He simply wouldn't let it. He doesn't know what started the fire that killed his parents, but he never wants a tragedy like that to occur again.
Weaponscraft and Blacksmithing are of the same dedication to him. In Smith's eyes, a finely crafted sword and a solid farming implement are equally important. The strength to craft, from your bare hands, food to sustain and support a community is an important responsibility. The strength to craft and wield the tools of war are necessary in the responsibility to defend and support a community. Neither one should be privileged, and both require a similar commitment.
