Hey, sorry about the thread bump and all, but I have a bit of a question about this one. So, I was reading the module to decide whether or not to run the full path and I noticed something weird about Jhavul that hasn't really been brought up anywhere else. He has both Resist Cold 30 and Vulnerability to Cold; I've seen threads on here asking how Resist/Vulnerability work if the Resist is added by a spell but he has both innately to the same element. How does that work?

Order of operations matters here a bunch here, right? If he were to take a base 35 damage from a Cold attack, then that becomes either 7.5 or 22.5 depending on which one applies first.

Jeez, it was that simple all along? Of course, I would massively overthink it. Thanks, guys!

So, uh, at the end of the last session I played for Pathfinder, my character hit level 6. Being a Fighter and all, this meant that I got a second hit per regular attack and thus a second Base Attack Bonus. Problem is, not sure how to write this on the sheet. For the BAB itself, it was easy enough to just write +6/+1 but I can't find out how to categorise the CMB and CMD. Whether it uses both, only one of them, or something else entirely isn't mentioned anywhere that I can find (and not for a lack of trying either; I find it weird that something so relevant would be a thing you're expected to just nebulously "know" out of the aether so I probably missed it somewhere).

So, uh, for things like that how do you work it out and make note of it?

I was drawing up a new character and decided to do something different and make my race an elf. When flicking through the Advanced Race Guide, I noticed that two optional traits that seem to work remarkably well together is Darkvision and Lightbringer. I can't find anything that explicitly denies this combination as valid, but I'm not entirely sure it is either. So, uh, I guess that's my question here: can I really use both, or not?
