I was talking to my DM yesterday about finding something for my barbarian because I wanted something different than "I enter rage. I smash people."

Something came to my mind and I have figured that monks have the Ki points to spend during the day and during the fight to be more flexible.
Could a barbarian have something similar? Of course only when raging, and because the rage have a limited round per day the Rage Pool do not scale on a modifier but it have just a cap. Until you are in rage you can use it.

I was thinking to:
If you hit you gain 1 point
if enemys hit you you gain 1 point
if you critical hit you gain 2 point
to a maximum of 10 Rage points.

The use of the Rage Pools are similar to the monk's Ki pool:
1pt - Make one additional attack at his highest attack bonus
1pt - take a +x to attack roll for 1 round
2pt - take +x to DR
10pt - if your next blow hit, it's a critical (still, you need to confirm)
etc.

do you have any ideas/adjustment?
