Yes on all counts.

Excellent, thank you very much!

I just want to make sure I am reading the rules correctly with this. With Full Manifestation in Ectoplasmic stat:

Damage Reduction: A phantom manifested in ectoplasmic form has DR 5/slashing. When the spiritualist reaches 5th level, the phantom gains DR 5/magic. At 10th level, the damage resistance increases to 10/magic. At 15th level, it increases to 15/magic, and at 20th level, the damage reduction becomes DR 15/—.

So, what I read from this carefully, and because I have seen rules lawyers for less in TCG's, is that the Phantom, while in this state, always has DR 5/Slashing, and will have with it later, and increasing DR X/Magic resistance as well, until it pops into a DR 15/- at level 20.

So, for its entire existence, non-slashing weapons, magical or not, will do 5 less damage, and then it has a second DR /magic that slowly increases, until it gains DR 15/-. Following the rules in the PHB, if there are 2 or more DR's a creature has, you apply the one that would reduce more.

Is this correct?

In the WoW RPG, they explained it as the character getting to be more antiquated with their history, heritage, and connected more with being with how they were born. If you were to be effected by a reincarnation or bale polymorph of some time, you would be able to keep the levels you had taken in your original race, but could not take any more in their old or new race.

I just really enjoy the thought of it, especially since in the MMO, each of the different races got special abilities or extra stats, that wouldn't be fair to have at character creation, but would be great if the different races were able to connect with it.

Again, WoW seemed to have done it fairly well, but they were the only ones I had seen. I would have loved to have seen the other person's that you had seen before.

So, I know that pathfinder, being based on the 3rd edition of DnD and the open d20 licence, but there was something done in a game that used the same rules, that I was wondering would work in Pathfinder

Before, Sword and Sorcery did a series of books for the World of Warcraft, and set up RPG rules and classes, so that you could play in Azeroth and beyond with the Horde, Alliance and more. In fact, the books when on into lore and information not found in the MMO itself, and helped to build up the world even more.

In the second edition of the game, at character creation, like you normally would, you would choose your race for your character (In this case, it was Human, Orc, Troll, Night Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, Tauren, Undead, Goblins and High Elves), but unlike other games, a good amount of races had access to what were called "racial levels". Humans, Gnome, Goblins, and without the other S&S WoW books, Orcs, were the only races to not have these.

Any time during your game, when you leveled, you had access to these 3 levels that only were accessible to your race, that didn't effect your exp like taking levels in other classes. It was like what ELC's are, or level adjustments, except that not a requirement for playing one of these races. It is to show that other races, compared to humans, are able to be more powerful, and also I could see how it would be a draw for people not to play humans to get the free extra feat

For example, I can give you what the Dwarf and Troll ones were like

Dwarf:
Base info:
+2 Con, -2 Cha
Medium
20 foot land speed, but not effected by medium and heavy load movement restrictions
Darkvision
Stability: +4 bonus to resist bull rushed or tripped when standing on the ground
Stonecutting: +2 on noticing unusual stonework (sliding walls, stonewall traps, new construction, unsafe stone structures, etc) and can use Search to find stonewall traps like a rogue. Can also sense approx depth underground
Long rifles, flintlock pistols, dwarven waraxes, dwarven battle hammers, and dwarven throwing hammers are considered martial weapons.
+2 save against poisons
+2 racial bonus to appraise and craft checks on stone or metal, and to crafting gunsmithing.
Languages: Dwarven and common, with bonus of Gnome, goblin, orc and Thalassian (Elven)

Racial levels
HD: d8
SKill points: 2+Int
Skills: Appraise, Climb, Craft, Concentration, Listen, Search and Sense motives.
Weapon and armour proficiency: Simple Weapons and Light Armour.
Level 1: +0 BAB Fort: +2 Ref: +0 Will: +0 Special: +2 racial bonus to atk vs gaints, Stoneflesh(2/day, gain +2 natural AC per level of dwarf, for # of rounds= Stam modifier + dwarf levels) and bonus weapon proficiency (For each level, you can choose one to be proficient with in addition to your others: Flintlock pistol, long rifle, dwarven waraxe, dwarven battle hammer, and dwarven tossing hammer).

Level 2: +1 BAB Fort: +2 Ref: +0 Will: +1 Special: +2 Str, +4 dodge AC vs Giants, additional bonus weapon proficiency.

Level 3: +2 BAB Fort: +3 Ref: +1 Will: +1 Special: +3 racial bonus on all saving throws vs. spells and spell-like effects, additional bonus weapon proficiency.

Troll:
+2 Agi, -2 Int, -2 Cha
Medium
30 feet movement
Low-Light vision
Rapid Healing (Ex): Heal twice as normal
+1 racial bonus on attacks with throwing weapons
+2 racial bonus to survival checks
+2 racial bonus to jump and tumble
Languages: Common and Low Common
Bonus: Goblin, Gnome and Taur-ahe

Racial Levels:
Level 1: +1 BAB Fort: +2 Ref: +2 Will: +0 Special: +1 Con, improved Rapid Healing (Ex) (replaces Rapid Healing, recovers HP = Con modifier every hour

Level 2: +2 BAB Fort: +3 Ref: +3 Will: +0 Special: +1 Dex, Fast Healing 1 (Replaces Improved rapid healing)

Level 3: +3 BAB Fort: +3 Ref: +3 Will: +1 Special: +1 Con, Troll Healing (The troll gains Fast Healing X intead of Fast healing 1, where X = Con modifier divided in half, to a minimum of 1)

So, my question is: Do you think that this could be done for some of the races in the Pathfinder system, successfully? I mean, do you think that some of the races in the base book or advanced creature book could/should have access to these types of levels, so that they are more on par with what you think of them when you think of an Half-Orc, or Elf. And not all these need be physical type bonuses either. The High Elf in the book gains the ability to cast 4 0-level wizard spells, and the orc bonus levels gained the ability to count their levels toward divine spell caster levels (To show them being more shamanic in nature)

Anyways, I had been rolling this idea around in my head for a while, and had signed into a long forgotten account to write this out. Wondered what other people's thoughts were
