Ruuz stares at Sari wondering if she would be good enough to let the insult pass. He shakes his head, "Nope sorry it's all natural around here."

Ruuz looks are Sari with a huge grin, "Maybe we could work out a trade." Ruuz shoots her a wink, "If not it would be 1250 gp's."

Ruuz takes his share of the money and after doing a little shopping disappears in his lab for several days.

He soon emerges with some silver bracers covering his for arms. "It took awhile but I have finish my bracers. If some of you are willing I can try to make you some amulets or bracers that could protect you."

"The sword is radiating a strong magic so I am guessing it will cost quite a bit it gold to reverse it. We could ask around and maybe we could trade our skills for the spell."

After searching through the house and finding one of Rokko's cigars that he left, he sits in one of the chairs and lights it. "I am going to miss that goblin."

Ruuz looks at Valessa, "It is possible but it might cost a lot of money. Brick can I see the sword?"

Can I cast detect Magic to see how strong the spell on the sword is?

"I still have that spear, what ever good it will do." Ruuz says as he limps along. "Brick I wouldn't mind looking at that sword also when we get back to the house."

Are we still in initiative?
Ruuz will ready an action to repair Brick when it is his turn.

Ruuz walks to the edge of the platform and looks down at the dragon. "Dumb bastard." he says with a smirk. Ruuz looks up at the strange vortex. "Wells hopefully killing the dragon will help and not hurts us in the end." Ruuz loads his crossbow and fires a bolt at the downed dragon.

Ruuz stares up at the growing hole at a lost on what to do. "Valessa what is going on?"

He grabs another bolt and shoots at the dragon and it flys wide of the target.

Can not roll to save my life in this game right now.

Ruuz's eyes widen as the dragon turns and he fires his crossbow, the bolt arcs towards the dragons and flies under his belly and down to the floor.

There everyone happy now.
Hope it was worth the wait.

Ruuz watches the dragon fly off wondering what it is going to do next and then he sees the strange hole.

Watching the dragon Ruuz loads his crossbow and sits back to see what happens.

Ready an action to run or shoot depending on how it goes.

Both Sari and Ruuz are just hanging on but I have some potions and scrolls if we need them.
Who is up?

Running low on idea's Ruuz loads another crossbow bolt and fires at the dragon.

The cloud of dust settles on Ruuz's skin and he grits his teeth as the dust seeps into his skin and his joints ache and then his vision darkens and he collapses to the floor again.

Ruuz growls in frustration and loads another bolt, aims and fires at the dragon and smiles when the bolt strikes true.

Not to be critical, ibut i believe you cast aberration bane. This dragon is messed up, but not an aberration

Ruuz looks at the deformed dragon and sighs This day sucks. Ruuz reaches into his coat and grabs a scroll and takes a step back from the dragon. Now lets see who falls off.

Took a five foot step away from the dragon and readies an action to cast Feather Fall if anyone is pushed off.

Sorry for my absence, work has been a bear the last few days. Mothman thank you for the Initiative Table.

Ruuz and his readied action is up

I used my readied action seconds before getting almost bit in half. Then I was unconscious for my regular turn and then Merreck healed me so I do believe it is the dragons turn again.

I let my crossbow fall back on its strap and slap against my leg as I run over to heal Ruuz. Again. "Try to make it last this time! I can't keep putting you back together forever." I say as I invoke the Traveler's blessing upon him.

7 point healed. I may need to be NPCed sometimes, as I'll be really busy for most of this week.

Ruuz opens his eyes, again, to see Merreck looking down at him, again. "Thanks. Again. I am just going to sit out the rest of this one." He says as he starts pushing himself away from the dragon.

Not taking any actions here, just thought I should thank my savior. Again. Continue on.

Well this has been a terrible day, but I am getting a lot of time to wander my subconscious.

As the dragons head raises over the edge of the platform Ruuz lets his bolt fly and it sails over it's head. Ooooh Kyber Ruuz's eyes widen as the dragons head snaps forward and crushes the life from him.

I thought I was further away but Oh well. hp: -6

Seeing Jyra fall, Valessa begins racing as fast as she can up the tiers, making for the platform out to the tower. “Let the dragon get up there!” she yells to Beren and Sari. “We have to kill it up on the platform – tower – altar thingy! I think…”

"Merreck, Brick, everyone! We need to get up there! Oh crap, where are Ghorkin and Mishelle?"

Ruuz looks around trying to sort out the people running all over the place. "What? Don't attack the dragon? Fine whatever." Ruuz grabs a bolt and loads his crossbow and aims where the dragon should crawl over the ledge.

Ready an attack for when the dragons climbs to the top of the pilar.

Ruuz looks up a Merrick, "Thanks, I thought I was a goner. Yeah I think flaming whips are out from now on." All though even after the beating Jyra still looks good. Ruuz thinks as her gets to his feet and grabs his crossbow.

I continue to bleed to death.

As the dust covers Ruuz he feels the life being pulled out of him and he collapses into darkness.

Ruuz tries to jump back as Jyra turns on him with the whip. Normally a naked women with a whip would be pretty exiting but I think this is going to hurt flashes through his mind seconds before the whip connects.

Ruuz staggers back from the assault, trying to ignore the pain and reaches in and grabs a potion from his coat.

Grabs a cure moderate wounds potion. That put me a 0 hp's so I guess I am done

Ruuz covers his eyes as the key explodes and the dragon comes out. "Great, just great. Now a f~~$ing dragon, Traveler watch over me."

Ruuz starts pulling things out of his coat, gathers his energy infuses his crossbow with power.
Going with the reliable Aberration Bane on my crossbow.
Burned an action point to do it in a round.

Still to far away Ruuz keeps his head down and runs towards the action.

Ruuz looks away from Jyra as her dragonmark becomes a long strand of energy. With is crossbow in hand he runs up the stairs past Beren looking for cover.

Ruuz is right behind Beren trying to pay attention to the events around him but failing miserably.

As Ruuz tops the stairs next to Beren he takes a quick look around and when his eyes land on Jyra he stops. Oooo she is half naked, this day improved a little. Ruuz thinks to himself and then he notices the strange mark on her torso.

He is about to share his insight when he notices the squid headed creature talking to Jyra. Damn, that sight just ruins the rest of the view.

Ultimately distracted by naked flesh Ruuz ends up with an Init of 3+2 =5

Then the Shifter turns to Ruuz, “How do those steps look to you? Can you detect any traps?”

Ruuz looks over the stairs real quick, "I don't see anything."

Search 14+2 =16

"She is up there somewhere, should we split up, a group on each stairwell?" Ruuz asks as he stares up at the ceiling.

Ruuz tightens his pack and grab a hold of the ring. "OK the time and range are limited so lets get ready to move."

Holding the ring Ruuz pictures the ring Mishelle described and activates the spell.

Range of the spell is 520 feet and will last 3 minutes.

Ruuz follows Beren and Valessa down the corridor, "Is our main concern Jyra right now? She seems to know more than us so unless someone has something better to do I will activate the ring."

Ruuz grabs a suitable stick and walks back out of the rain and takes a seat on the floor.
"Hey Valessa do you still have one of those copper rings?" Ruuz asks.

Assuming she gives him one.

Placing the ring and the forked stick on the ground he starts gathering the necessary magical energy to imbue the ring with the spell.

Should have done locate creature with that roll. Didn't even need to use my action point.

The energy flows out of him through the stick and into the ring.

Ruuz puts the stick in his bag, grabs the ring and stands.

"I think it worked, when I trigger this I should be able to think of Jyra's ring and it should give me the direction she is in."

Ruuz picks up the rest of his gear, "I think we should get to as close to the center of this place as possible before I activate it. The range is limited and that should increase our chance of finding her."

“If a forked stick is going to help you find Jyra – and Merreck’s doohickie doesn’t do the trick, we could head back to the central chamber,” says Valessa to Ruuz, frowning slightly. “There were some vines and such there, you could probably find a small forked twig amongst the branches.”

Ruuz looks at Valessa, "Good idea, see there are some smart ones in this group too." he finishes with a smile.

Turning to the two freshly healed scholars, "What are we going to do with them?" Ruuz looks at Ghorkin, "You should probably stick with your bodyguards before Michelle girl tries to kill you Lhorkin." Ruuz finishes with an evil looking grin.

"Wait, I'm not sure if it will help, but Jyra always wore a gold ring set with a black dragonshard. I thought it a bit odd for a girl of her standing to have such an expensive ring."

You can pry a good deal of description out of her, which she justifies with "I admit, I fancied it, and would have nipped off with it in a heart beat if she had been the unconcious one."

"Excellent. Atleast someone in your group can contribute something usefull." Ruuz exclaims. He quickly starts rummaging through his coat and pack muttering to himself.

Ruuz walks over to Ghorkin, "Hey, did you ever give anything unique to Jyra that she would have with her right now?"

Brick sits bolt upright, and as if nothing had happened, turns to Ruuz, and states plainly,

"Hello, my name is Brick. Where am I again?"

Ruuz looks at Brick, "The artificer that made you must have been drunk because there is something just not right in your head."

Ruuz starts looking around the room for more traps and clues.

Ruuz stands up after Brick heals Mishelle and looks around the room.
Is all of their gear still here?

"I might have an idea on how to find Jyra. Can anyone remember any unique items she was carrying?"

His lust for women is going to get him in trouble sooner or later, he thinks to himself.

Did you expect anything else, can't resist those women. And believe my it already has gotten Ruuz in trouble.

Ruuz rushes over to Mishelle and looks over her wounds.

"Looks like she has been clubbed over the head pretty hard. How is Ghorkin?"

"He could be dead right now, or even more important, he could be robbing us blind.”

Ruuz looks at Beren with a smile, "Why do you think I brought all my gear." Looking around the room and back the way they came Ruuz tries to puzzle through there dead end. "I do think you are right that globe must has some significants."
