![]() The room is a giant storage area, with crates piled up around it. As Grahsvien and Graz enter they sees a the shadow of what may be a giant bat swoop down behind a crate. "How dares you break in masters house. Step farther, and pay the consequences" a raspy voice can be heard behind the crate. ![]()

![]() Enzor casts the spell, and steps back from danger, as Mercy rushes forward. She drops the kobold stupid enough to mess with her. Dessy scouts out for injuries in the background, and the remaining two kobolds attack. squeal in fear, and both rush back for the whole in the cave. AoO for Bodan and Hranos ![]()

Ahem... what he said (thanks) ;) The group heads to the blacksmith. It has three walls, with a low fence across the area where one would expect a fourth wall. The group enters, finding it empty... except for the hundreds of weapons lining the walls. Beautifully crafted long swords cover one wall, while in another area, a pile of daggers sit. The walls contain weapons enough to fit anyone's desire. Despite the late night, the furnace still belches fire, giving the room a comfortable warmth, in contrast to the night air. The forge is a large room, with a door, probably connecting the shop front to the blacksmith's house. ![]()

Go ahead Meanwhile, the rest of the group is still running around, searching for loot. Someone give me a building they wish to raid ![]()

![]() Anyway... the prisoners are let out, and Galvan begins another fire in the jail. As it begins to light up, I assume you move back to the shadows, for villagers begin to flock anew, and attempt to stamp this fire out before it grows too large. They ultimatley fail, due to the lack of water, and the jailhouse goes up in flames. ![]()

![]() Enzor's spell puts the two, dull-minded kobolds to sleep (in 16 and 17). Mercy's attack misses, and the three remaining kobolds fly into a rage. One lunges at Mercy, another Bodan, and the third Hranos. The first two miss, but the third catches Hranos in the leg. Bodan's kick quickly dispatches the kobold in front of her, leaving one by Hranos and one by Mercy. Hranos cannot return the blow from the kobold. Initiative:

![]() The group leaves the bar, and heads over to the prison. There, they find the place empty of any guards, warden, or the like. As you enter, one of the few prisoners does a double take. Galvan's enormous body sends him scurrying towards the back of his cell. Until you let him out that is. Throughout the entire operation, none of the prisoners say a word. They scurry out into the night.* Who are these Prisoners? This is interesting. Here's my rule with Spoiler that I put up: Anyone can read them, but the character only knows the knowledge of they make the check. I require only one Knowledge check to recognize all the prisoners. *DC 15 Knowledge (local), 10 for Orcs. HALF ORC Spoiler:
Hagar. a giant half-orc who had gained the respect of all orcs in the area. A few years back, he tried to unite the tribes against the local human population. This attempt failed, when a group of adventurers led by the famous and hated dwarf, Eberk, stopped him. If any orcs are present, he gives them a slight nod, before walking out of the room. He loves fire and the screams of children, and probably won't leave the town right away. * DC 15 Knowledge (local), 10 for Rogues TIEFLING Spoiler:
"Tinsle". Nobody actually knows the name of this shift tiefling. Maybe he doesn't even know it. He calls himself Tinsle, but nobody he has anything to really say with usually lives. He walks with a limp, but is surprisingly fast and dexterous. He is probably in here after being caught cheating the local population. He holds no vendetta, so used is he to killing for a price, and will most likely leave town eventually.
*DC 15 Knowledge (local), 10 for Females HALF-ELF Spoiler:
Marlena. Marlena is the mayor's daughter. She is a half-elf, and the product of the mayor's affair with a young, pretty elf. Of course, never knowing her mother did not help. She was a bully when younger, but her crimes grew worse and worse, until she destroyed the local church. This infuriated her father, and despite the fact that she is his daughter, he locked her in here. She leaves quickly, and will probably stick around to wreak even more havoc. *DC 15 Knowledge (local) 10 for Magicians GNOME Spoiler:
"Humble". This little gnome looks like a cute little child, but don't let him fool you, he is the most dangerous thing to have hit the area. Humble gave himself the cute little name to help fool older couples into thinking he was just an innocent orphan. Of course, that night, when they invited him to stay at thier place, things would go missing. And so would Humble. Eventually, the law caught up with him, and he has to be held in a special cell due to his large magical powers. Once freed, he lets out a maniacal laugh, and runs out of the room. There will be hell to pay. *The last prisoner is the passed out village drunk. :) ![]()

Hmm... guess he's gone, don't need another player though, we have four now. This town's highest official is the mayor, but it is one of many small towns who have made alliances with eachother. Representatives of each town hold meeting and vote on what should be done about things. ![]()

![]() Let's continue... The group steps into the Six Monks Bar, where many of the people from the traveler's village are milling around. At the front of the bar, a man sits at a makeshift desk, scrambling with door keys, trying to keep track of who has keys, who needs to pay, who is just looking for a free bed. "Alright! Let's have order, please!" He yells in a high-pitched voice. "Make a single file line!" This request in unheeded, as everyone wants to make sure they can get a bed for the night. ![]()

![]() Let the chaos begin... [evil grin] Galvan and Eulagolg dismantle the well. Before they head off, they manage to pull out some torches with Graz, and light them. As they head back over to the traveler's village, they pass Graz, who has just lit the cart on fire, after allowing Grahsvein and Rhythe to exit, of course. Graz's push sends the cart hurtling down the street, where it eventually turns off the road, and crashes into the side of a building, where it lays as a burning heap. A few seconds later, yells begin, as the small village wakes up. Meanwhile, Eulagolg and Galvan have invaded the small shantytown made up of lean-to's, carts, and tents. They each light an area up, and cause even more distress in this area as well. Guards run to the area. Pause for a moment, and turn towards the well. When they arrive, they find no buckets. And fear becomes all-out panic. Confused locals still haven't caught on, and begin to crowd out of thier houses with children and wives among them. Despite the chaos made by the group, nobody has caught on to the cause of the fire, and the group remains unnoticed... This is assuming that you haven't yet stepped forward. Also, I would like to give Grahsvein and Rhythe a chance to post ![]()

![]() As Mercy brings the torch closer to the crack, a rumbling begins, and as the crack widens, a high pitched giggling begins. It gets louder and louder, until it seems as if the noise would be upon the listener already. All of a sudden, the face of kobold flashes out of the the now three foot wide hole, screeching at the top of its tiny lungs. It strikes at Mercy with a spear. Of course, the pathetic little thing hasn't seen light for many years, and got distracted: 1d20=4

When I was 3, I nearly drowned when I got panicky in the water after being "horned" by a catfish. I don't know if you've ever taken one of those spines through the hand before, but it hurts like a mother ... and when you're only three years old, well I'm sure you can imagine. When I got older, my dad decided it was time that I got over my fear, so he took me fishing and when we caught a catfish, he made me take it off the hook. It started flipping and flopping when I tried to grab it, and the darned thing spined me again, so I just washed my hands of it then, decided it's best not to tempt fate anymore! To this day, if I go fishing, I'll make somebody else take it off the hook. Odd thing is, the critters that normally scare people - spiders, snakes, etc. - don't bother me in the slightest. So sorry. I will change my avatar to a nicer fishy for you.
