Well, then start harassing him to start rping...or you will be annoyed by him for a very very long time. People don't notice when they are doing something wrong, unless you point it out for them.

yea. we've been on him lately to start rp'ing

I have a guy who is playing a paladin who is fairly new to RPG's so we/i dont harass him to badly but he doesnt rp at all really. nor does he know his character well. he's a 9th level paladin who is a under feated fighter who can lay on hands and smite........ and isnt that creative when it comes to combat or rp'ing. kind of looks at the whole thing as go hear and do this then we get xp's

yea, we're using the older book then. i don't remember seeing anythign about barbarians losing rage upon becoming lawful.

Yea, I know most of you don’t like multi classing or that’s the impression i get. however, in my group I’m playing a barbarian1/fighter4/paladin4/ and I’m not sure on whether or not to go 11 more in paladin or 11 more in fighter.

This is an odd build but it works for what I want. That being a jack of all (most) trades when it comes to combat. Not to be to 4E-ish but to put it bluntly I’m the tank/healer well since the other paladin died I've been having to fill that role.

Also I've been thinking about going with paladin just for the aoe buffs and what not.

yea as im sure its already been said and at thsi point im beating a dead horse but the paladin should've stopped this. how ever i read this while sitting in after school detention and i literally laughed out loud and felt i should post and say this.

why not play him as a chaotic good kind of character. it seems to me that a chaotic good character would do evil acts in the name of good. thus leading him to fall to evil? in a corrupt sort of way.
