Okay Morphie, you've reclaimed your rightful place. Sorry Verene.

Verene's suggestion of using Thamyris to fly a rope up has me wondering...
What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen hermit thrush?

Morphling, you're already the guaranteed spot you dork. :P
Feel free to post your character for everyone to see once it's ready, though.

This is a recruitment thread for a Wrath of the Righteous AP play-by-post game to be GMed by me.

I am looking for a party of five players total, however one slot is already filled by a friend of mine (role pending).

.

Application Rules

  • Paizo only, no 3rd party material.
  • Level 1, 20 point buy.
  • No guns, no gunslingers. No summoners.
  • The Antagonize and Leadership feats are banned.
  • Two traits, optional flaw for a third trait. You must take one (and only one) of the six campaign traits.
  • Alignment must be any non-evil.
  • Max HP first level, half+1 afterwards.
  • Start with 200gp.
  • Core races are always allowed. Other races are subject to approval on a case-by-case basis. Suffice to say that any typically evil race will be vetoed, whereas others will likely be perfectly fine. Discuss it with me first.
  • Nonsensical flavor prerequisites based on race/deity/region/etc may be waived on a case-by-case basis. Discuss it with me first.
  • Minmaxing is acceptable, just be prepared to roleplay accordingly.
  • Include a backstory for your character.
  • Post a sample of your roleplaying style (in-character) when you submit your character. Keep in mind that grammar and spelling matter just as much as an interesting character!
  • Give a general description of what your plan for your character's role in the party is.
  • Once the game begins, you will post at least once per day unless notice is given.

Character selections are my own, and by posting in this thread you agree to be a good sport if you're not selected for whatever reason. If you really want to know why you were passed up, you're welcome to send me a polite PM after selections are made, and I may respond.

Entry for Lacuna Trost, Human Warpriest of Calistria (Details in profile)

"Brothers and sisters, gather around, for I have a tale to tell of another victory won for Calistria's favor!" Lacuna beckoned to the temple's occupants from the altar.

The recounting of tales of vengeance was just one of the oral traditions of Calistria's temples. As all eyes and ears fell on the lithe brunette, she began her oration. "As you all well know, a particular guard has been troubling our presence here in Absolam. Despite our best relations with and even relief of Absolam's protectors, he has hounded us for our practices. That is the case no more!" The small crowd applauded, accompanied by devious snickers.

The listeners' glee soon settled into further curiosity, and Lacuna continued, "As is the will of the Savored Sting, retribution has been served, with I as her vengeful messenger! It would seem that our heretical 'friend' was not one to practice what he preached. After bedding him, I revealed this to his spouse, who was as shocked as I to uncover his hypocrisy." The crowd exchanged excited murmurs and waited anxiously for more.

"Of course it was not long before this information 'conveniently' made its way to the public, and I am pleased to announce that he has been relieved of his duties as both husband and guard. Consumed by the temptations of the Unquenchable Fire, his life now crumbles under her will! Let us praise Calistria for this blessing." Cheers and shouts of "Praise Calistria!" echoed around the room, and Lacuna grinned widely as she stepped down from the altar to join her fellow worshipers in celebration. Surely this small victory would serve as a warning to those that would cause them grief, though Lacuna could not argue that she enjoyed the thrill of deception.
