Rora aims her gun at the last remaining enemy. "What they said, punk. Surrender and we'll let you hitch a ride back to Abaslom Station."

"Inconcievable!" Rora retorts. "The only one going down is you!" She emphasizes her statement with a blast from her laser pistol!

Get 'em on the captain!

Attack vs. EAC: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 = 7
Fire Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

...But she totally misses...

"Oh, can it!" Rora tells the enemy captain. "Bring him down, crew!"

Get 'em on the purple enemy. All allies get a +1 morale bonus to attack him.

Then she fires her pistol at his face!

Rora grunts through the pain, hurries out into the hall and fires her laser pistol at the jerk with the grenades.

"Thanks for the heads up!"

Attack vs. EAC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Fire Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

But her shot totally misses. She groans and rolls her eyes. "Really?!"

"Interesting."

Rora pops her head into the half demolished cargo hold to double check they didn't miss anything...

She scoops up the loot and games and sticks it into her backpack. Then she wanders over to a nearby door she hopes leads to the bridge.

I have a crazy busy weekend coming up (last one, I swear!) and will be unable to get a post in. Should be back to normal posting Monday.

"Here, let me try." Rora reaches for the datapad....

Computers: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Rora gives her hair a fashionable flip as she gets the power core working. In response to Stella's ribbing she smirks, "Aww, jealous much?"

She struts off after Ash.

Rora approaches the power core. Did I move myself the right way?

"One of you want to get in here? Looks like you've gotta wiggle that bit over there and ram it into that other one..."

Engineering to AID someone else: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

...Guess I just should've rolled it. Haha.

Rora sighs in relief, stows her baton, carefully clambers up the wall she's pressed against, and peeks over onto the other side.

Rora ducks behind the wall and speaks to Remi through her comms. "Lock and load, Remi, you've got this. No space-squids gonna take us down!"

Rora is using inspiring boost on Remi. If the enemy counts as a 'significant enemy' then Remi regains 10 SP.

Rora carefully stows her pistol, being sure to cling tight to the wall behind her. She contemplates reaching for a healing serum before remembering she couldn't drink it right now anyway. Instead she pulls out her baton.

Sorry, I thought we were side by side for some reason. Instead she pulls out her pistol and fires it at the creature. Attack roll is unchanged but against EAC instead of KAC, and damage is 1d4+1 fire, so 2 fire damage.

With a grunt of pain Rora pulls out her baton and gives the creature a solid whack to the tentacle!

Attack vs. KAC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Bludgeoning Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Rora continues to drift forward, nearly reaching a wall.

Rora grabs on to Stella's rope -- just in case -- kicked off and launched herself at a wall across the way. (I drew an arrow for her intended path and moved her 15 ft toward it)

Rora activates her armour's environmental protections. The she peers across the drift at the Amber Reconnoiter, looking for a likely place to enter the ship safely.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

I'm attending a local convention this weekend with my family, and both of my kids are having birthday parties. I will be far too busy to get a post in this weekend. Apologies if I hold up the game.

Rora claps Stella on the back. "Manage the computers." Then she scampers back to the camptains chair. "Strap in, folks! This is going to be a bumpy ride!" While she buckles up her seat belt she grins like a mad woman and gives her hair a very fashionable flip -- if only there were camera to see it... "Let 'er rip, Remi! Show her what old Peggy here can do!"

Diplomacy (to AID Remi's piloting: 1d20 + 14 + 1d6 ⇒ (12) + 14 + (2) = 28

"Remi! Take the helm!" Rora exclaims, barking out orders as if she were the Captain. "And -- ACK! Where's my science officer!"

Rora leaps from the captains chair and dashes to the computer console!

Computers: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 7 + 4 = 30

"Come on, Peggy, hold it together!"

Can make both checks? If so, both are rolled, if not she's attempting only culture, which is rolled first.

Rora grins proudly at Stella. "Ah! A person of good taste, I see! Wonderful! Well, you may recognize me from my stint on Live Exploration Extreme! My face and name was in images, videos, and memes across countless media platforms. Of course, my face was also all over the news here in Absalom Station after I saved the First Seeker and a bunch of dignitaries during REDACTED TO PREVENT SPOILERS. Or there was that time I retrieved a sensitive object and revitalized the economy of a whole town in REDACTED TO PREVENT SPOILERS. I've also been in three commercials since then. One for grenades, one for a line of high-fashion armour, and one for a bomb disabling company. And now... Well, I'm not even sure what my publicist has cooked up next. Point is, I'm a media celebrity. You know me -- even if you don't know it." She gives Stella a wink, then hops onto the console.

Clicking away at the console, Rora runs a search for all of the Starfinder ships deployed on missions to the Drift by First Seeker Lanrah during the year 160 AG.

Rora gives Naiaj a sloppy salute and with a flick of her fabulous hair she struts out of the room after Data. "Museum it is, pal. Y'know folks will read about me -- maybe even all of us -- in that museum one day." She grins proudly, clearly believing her assertions.

Before the briefing:

A flamboyant little ysoki struts into the room. She looks around with beady little red eyes and smiles broadly, revealing shiny white teeth. Her white fur is meticulously groomed, and the hair all atop of her head is died a riot of colours and styled in a short, wild hairdo. It's the hippest hair-do on Absalom Station, but clearly took at least an hour to style just so. The fashionable little ysoki stands tall, places her foot up on a nearby chair, and puts her hands on her hips. Her shiny silver hoop earrings jingle at the motion, and her stylish blue and gold jacket is so clean it seems to shimmer in the artificial lights of the ship.

"Hello, there, comrades!" She squeaks grandly. "Aurora Vim, at your service. But you might know me better as..." she pauses dramatically, with glittering eyes and a wide smile. "RORA!"

She preens. clearly expecting at least some of you to recognize her by name and reputation. She winks at the group winningly, then flips her bangs out of her eyes with a toss of her head.

"And who has the honour of joining me on this mission, today?"

Rora stands in the room imperiously, clearly looking in charge despite not really doing anything... She casts her well-trained gaze around the room...

Rora accepts the tribute with a grin and a stylish flip of her hair. "Thank you, thank you." She waves at her fans. "And now we must be off! We'll be back soon."

She waves at her companions, gesturing for them to follow her. "Come on. Let's check out that temple. Then we can see if the door is open."

Later, with her fellow Starfinders, she grins. "Well, that was easy. Let's go tell those gnolls what's up."

"That's right! We dominated that swamp ghost!" She flexes her little muscles and snarls for her fellow yetis.

Rora smiles. "It's as good as done. See ya'."

Rora promptly turns and saunters off towards the yeti territory.

"Well, that went pretty well," she remarks to her fellow Starfinders. "How hard could it be, right?"

Rora smiles at the gnoll. "The swamp ghost already admitted my dominance. I suggest you do the same. I much prefer these pretty words win the day."

When Saeron suggests they might stay, Rora shakes her head. "They can't stay here. The swamp ghost will come for them if they do, and prove me a liar, which I will not have." She turns and looks at the gnoll again. "The swamp ghost won't leave. She'll stay. And if you step foot in her swamp she'll kill you. And if she finds we opened the way and you guys didn't leave with us, she'll kill you. Generally, staying is a bad plan, involving death and dismemberment. Nothing pleasant."

Rora sighs dramatically, then grins. "Lucky we're here to save the day! We have plenty of medicine outside of this place. You won't get sick, cause we'll give that awesome medicine to you. Deal?"

"And as for the master. He needs to watch. This ISN'T a trick. We ARE dominant. You just haven't accepted that yet. When you do, we'll open the way forward and save us all."

Rora grins at the gnolls. "We come in peace from a land beyond these walls! From a land of freedom! We wish to bring you there. To free you from this prison you find yourselves in." She looks around at the surrounding gnolls. "Here's the deal. You're all stuck here because one group must become 'dominant' for all of you to leave. We're here to make that happen. Without violence. Just with words. You say aloud -- so that the robots watching can hear you -- that we're the dominant ones. You bow to our might or something. Then we'll leave and get the yetis to do the same. Then we can head to the temple and get the door open. We'll bring you guys out of here and find you someplace else nice to build your homes. Someplace where you won't have to worry about the yeti's stealing it, or the swamp ghost stabbing you. Or the creepy robots secretly watching your every move. Got it? Sound good?"

Rora strikes a dynamic pose, gives her hair a flip, and grins. "Greetings, one and all! My name is Aurora Vim, although you may call me RORA!" She pauses dramatically. "We seek to speak with your leader, Corev!"

"It means this place is weird as ****," Rora replies quite accurately.

Then she turns, smiles brightly and waves at the gnolls. "Hi there! I'm Rora. Here to save you all! Who's in charge?"

Rora is completely unsurprised at this turn of events. She's amazing, after all. She grins and rubs her hands together. "Excellent. Farewell Sparklemane." Turning to her companions she adds, "Let's leave this beautiful place to its rightful owner and pay those gnolls a visit."

Rora, who is enamoured with nothing so much as she is herself, gives her hair a fashionable flip. "Hello Sparklemane. I'm Aurora Vim, but I'm better known as... RORA!" She grins winningly. "What if I told you you could have your swamp, AND get rid of the yetis and gnolls once and for all? We need to strike a balance in this place. One group has to come out on top, and if we can make a deal with each of the three other groups, the 'dominant' group is us. This will allow the temple to open and the doors to unlock. Then the gnolls, yetis, and us," she gestures at her fellow Starinders, "Can all leave this place behind. You'll have the entire swamp -- NAY -- the entire REGION to yourself. Ruler of this entire domain. Then none shall harm your swamp again. Pretty sweet deal, right?"

She waggles her eyebrows at the unicorn. "So here's the deal. You announce aloud that we've 'dominated' you -- it's got to be aloud so that the thing running the game can hear you -- and then we'll bugger off. Then we'll tell the others to stay out of your swamp. And, once we get the same from the other groups we'll all leave this place for good. The whole thing's yours. What do you say?"

Rora plops down and moans and complains about the absurdly large thorns on the newly renamed 'murder-bush.'

"What are you, a mathematician? Or a Starfinder? Starfinders don't destroy things if we can avoid it."

"You made us wade through mud to avoid stomping on mushrooms, but it's alright for him to burn down a whole freaking bush?! Yeeesh! Hypocrisy at its finest right there." Rora shakes her head and tries to slip through the brambles. "When that gardener ghost comes for us I'm telling them it was all you, Zak. I'll offer you up like a festival turkey."

Rora groans loudly. Eventually she gives her hair a flip and leads the way through the mud. "Come along then. Let's get this over with."

Rora examines the gnolls.

"Hmmm... The gnolls were definitely dragged here after they died, and then mutilated. There's also some hoof prints all over the area. Interesting..."

Then turns her attention to the surrounding area...

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

"Someone's been tending to these mushrooms over here. Looks like the gnolls stepped on them before they were killed. So, be on the lookout for an overzealous gardener," she jokes. She twitches her nose, clearly thinking plants are NOT worth killing over. "We could go around the mushrooms, but we'd have to walk through the muddiest part of the swamp, over there."

She sighs to herself and mutters something under her breath. "Man, I wish Grinds was here. He'd carry me over the swamp..."

She puts her hands on her hips, strikes a very stylish pose, then remarks, "I'm not sure it's worth it."

Clearly she just doesn't want to get dirty.
