House Sai Pillar of Trade and Spirits
One of the oldest noble houses of Borallas. They have property and businesses in nearly every district. They specialize in shipping, trading, and spirits mostly with close ties to the merchants guild and bards guild.
Patriarch- Kuru Sai (LN Male Human)

History- It is said that the founders of House Sai were a pair of brothers. Vintners by trade they tended their small farms growing what was needed to practice their trade. As all men, dwarf, and elf found good spirits worth while they remained on good terms with all. Learning and adapting their goods for the taste of each in turn. As the city grew as did the need for trade, one of the brothers choose to become a merchant himself rather then trust in others to sell his wares. It quickly became clear that they had been missing out on the great demand for their spirits. As the years went by, the family grew as did its fortunes. Ever keeping good relations with those who treasured their goods. It was no surprise that their family was among the first nobility to rise. So the city grew and House Sai's operation expanded with it. Still their methods did not change and so unlike other houses their fortune did not rise and fall in tides but at a slow steady rate. This all changed when the rebellion came, feeling forced to choose a side they backed the city. Seeking to stablize things they sent out their forces with many other nobles to bring order back to the city. Then another event befall the house, their heir Roku was condemned as a criminal. House Sai quickly recalled its forces in the face of this charge, this action alone saved them as unknown enemies found their way with in their main home in the garden district. A number of family members were killed but House Sai had not fallen. Still the damage had been done, their sole heir was imprisoned and their forces weakened. House Sai choose to close a number of its businesses and suspend long distance trade as it reorganized. House Sai was no longer seen as a force to be reckoned with militaristically, economically, or politically. Currently many see House Sai as a dying beast, thinking that it will vanish in time.

House Dartrak Pillar of Arms
One of the oldest noble houses of Borallas. They hold the largest number of armed forces of any noble house. They specialize in guardianship with close ties to the mercenaries guild and loose ties with the mages guild and temple guild.

History- It is said that the Dartrak house came from some of the first humans to arrive in Borallas. That their family had a hand in protecting the settlers on their journey. This role had not changed as the years went by, nearly every able bodied member joined the budding cities guard. When the time came to bring up nobles, the Dartrak clan was a given. Ever sense becoming a noble house they shifted their focus. Training their own constently and passing on their knowledge and teachings to their own private forces. Unsurprising their fortunes grew, even more so in times of war and conflict as their success added to their business and recruitment efforts. Strangely dispite their high mortality rate, the Dartrak house is blessed with an equally strong birth rate ensuring their future, a blessing more then a few other houses secretly curse. When the rebellion came House Dartrak made out fairly untouched, their long history of keeping to their own business made for no divided loyalities. While their reputation among some sections of the city were damaged as a result of their actions, it mattered little to them and did not effect their business.

House Xikel Pillar of the Arcane
One of the oldest noble houses of Borallas. They have held the largest number of mages in the city for generations. They specialize in magecraft with close ties to the mages guild and loose ties with the merchants guild.

History- The founder of House Xikel may very well still be alive. As an entire elven house they practice a retirement system. So while active nobles only number in the dozens, blood relations could be very much times the current number. The current Patriarch is only the third to take the position. It is thought that their founder arrived with the first elves, a mage of respectable power looking for a good place to plant his roots with privacy. He created the first mage school as well as shrine to Nethys. The master of a whole generation of magelings he laid the groundwork for what would become both the priesthood of Nethys and the mages guild. By the time the nobility rose his position was assured. House Xikel kept taking students only they started requiring payment and terms. Keeping their ties with the priesthood and guild strong they created a healthy magical market where everything from spells, information, and magical items were in demand. House Xikel has kept a vice hold on these areas ever sense to their profit and gain. When the rebellion came their first act was to secure their businesses and interest. It was only when their house was directly called that they sent battle mages to aid the city, the meaning of this was not lost among the other nobles. House Xikel was never a political force and recently their actions have damaged their strange reputation among the rest of the nobility, yet none move against them for fear of how the aloof mages would respond.

House Issroth House of Intrigue
One of the oldest noble houses of Borallas. They have held and advanced their position thru intrigue rather then anything else. They specialize in manipulation with close ties to the thieves guild and loose ties with the merchants guild and mercenary guild.

History- The history of house Issroth has been purposely distorted by generations of patriarchs attempting to use their past to gain an advantage. A few facts that have been kept by mostly the other houses state that their founder was a merchant of questionable origins and repute. His sole value was his ability to gain almost any item asked of him and recover lost or misplaced items. That along with a rather detailed knowledge of herbs gave him worth. Such as House Issroth rose, it did so with full intent to increase its position. Alas the other houses were no fools and in turn forced house Issroth to a crawl in their rise. None the less over the gerations they have spread their influence and refined their ability, when the first half elf king rose. With in a single geration nearly all nobles born were helf elf, such has their blood remained ever sense. While they are not a great power in the underworld, they are a respected one. During the wars and rebellion House Issroth supplies strangely accurate information and makes up for any shortage in supplies, if at higher prices. What few know is that a good deal of half elves with in the house have drow blood, introduced for the drows superior natural abilities. They have even secretly aquired a small number of full blooded drow for their personal use and training.

Persons Known:

Mifura Muya- A man from the outlands before their destruction. He was found and saved by the mercenaries guild. Learning many skills from them he left a few years later to join the city's army. Due to his mercenary training he went up the ranks faster then most. Settling on Captain as he preferred remaining out in the field among the men rather then moving up the ranks. He was also known for his willingness to work with nobles unlike most soilders. This is how he met and helped Roku with his plans. Until he betrayed him and captured him. Walking away from Roku with a scar and his hatred. Race: Human, Gender: Male, Class: Unknown, Features: Scar (above heart to neck cut)

Black Prince Incidents (Work in Progress):

Daran- A half orc from the gutter district who joined the army in order to kill without punishment, gain money, and be fed. Shortly after joining he was promoted after playing part in a number of victories against the enemy. Once in charge of his own small unit, he secretly pillaged a number of outland locations and was discovered by Roku's contacts. Daran was contacted by the Black Prince sortly after to attack an army caravan that was secretly transporting army pay. Daran agreed in exchange for a large cut and was provided the route and number of guards. When he attacked the caravan he was ambushed and captured.

Vesp Luf- A stunning and beautiful half elf jasian that was captured as a prisoner of war by an army unit Roku was investigating for acts of slavery and rape. When his men arrived all members of the unit were found poisoned or dead from being beaten to death. Sortly after the woman showed up again among another unit, for the second time his men were too late and were greeted by the same scene. When she showed up a third time a secret message was quickly sent to her by the Black Prince, he was impressed with her work and asked if she would be willing to target a certain man. One that held a powerful position in the army. She asked who was the target and was directed to Mifura, a well known army captain. When Vesp attempted to saduce Mifura he had already been informed well ahead of time to expect her. She was trapped in the army camp and was captured quickly.

Jyath Issroth- A noble of House Issroth, while serving his families interest during the war and rebellion. He also made a play for his own advancement by hiring assassins to kill enemies and shift blame to other enemies or those not on friendly terms with him or his house. While House Issroth is no stranger to such tactics they traditionally have a light hand when it came to assassinations or making use of those with in that trade. Jyath was not, one to many strange deaths drew Roku's attention and so an offering of alliance was proposed by the Black Prince to Jyath Issroth. Not one to take anything at face value he set up an ambush for the shadow criminal. Jyath's ambush was a success in that he killed a small group of soilders that had been sent by Mifura. What netheir party knew was that Roku had sent a scout to keep an eye on events. With that Jyath was not only captured and held accountable for his crimes his house was publicly shamed. His dishonor had done no small amount of damage, even after his disownment.
