Special Quality:

Strategies:
General:
    Patience is key. Roku's primary defense is to remain hidden, through magical or mundane means. If he can move stealthily, he will - the enemy should never be able to find him, if he can help it. He will focus on this first, then he will buff himself, and wait for the right moment to strike. He might try to cripple an opponent’s offense, then finish them off with powerful evocations, or divert their attention with illusions, and strike while they are distracted. If things look dire for him, he will disengage with stealth or magic - even turning into an elemental to find hidden safety in the earth, water, or sky - he will recover his health before re-engaging.

    His familiar, a small air elemental, will attempt to stay hidden as much as possible, spying on opponents, and occasionally delivering one of Roku's touch attacks. He will not attack, otherwise, focusing on stealth, defense, and reconnaissance.

    Roku will also use Spectral Hand to deliver crippling necromancy attacks, as well. He will not attempt to get close to an opponent, as that is fairly dangerous, for him.

Melee Opponents:

    He will attempt to weaken these foes with a necromantic attack designed to reduce their offense (delivered from a safe distance, of course). Using stealth, mist, or illusions to hide or distract his opponent, he will nuke his foe with spells.

Archers:

    Roku will try to reduce an archer’s strength using a necromantic attack (hoping to keep them from using +STR bows), before finishing them off with spells.

Spellcasters:

    Roku prefers to ready an action to attack his foe with a strong spell attack (intended to damage them, causing a concentration check - NOT counterspell!) Dispels and Touch of Idiocy (delivered @ range, if possible) should help curb any pesky spellcasters that cause problems.

Hidden Opponents:

    In the event that he faces an enemy that hides as well, Roku will use Glitterdust to flush them out. He will, of course do his best to keep from being affected by it, himself. Then he will try to cripple their stats, and finish them off.

Hybrids:

    Using dispels and necromantic spells to reduce or eliminate magical benefits should help keep these enemies managable.

Pets, Companions, and Familiars:

    Roku will try to nuke these creatures quickly to limit his opponent’s advantage.

In Trouble:

    If he is terribly wounded, or feels his opponent has too great an advantage, he will try to hide with stealth, invisibility, or obscuring mist; try to blind or distract his foe with Glitterdust, Blink, Mirror Image, Silent Image, etc; or escape to safety using Elemental Body, Dimension Door, etc.

Buffs & Tricks:

    If he can, Roku will use the cover of invisibility or stealth to Buff himself before engaging in combat; to distract his opponent, he will use Silent Image, Ghost Sound, Mirror Image, Obscuring Mist, etc. He will attempt to deliver all touch attacks via Spectral Hand or his familiar. His familiar will otherwise hide from danger, but be ready if needed. He will also try to use his stealthy advantage to make his spells as sneak attacks, when possible.
