We only play about once a month (usually in Brighton, but sometimes in Oak Park or Downriver).

I am actually considering taking up D&D mini's as a hobby. Haven't RP'd D&D since the early eighties so Im rusty there. Where do you meet at in Brighton? I know Hero's Quest has some mini tourments. Im in Hartland but Brightons not far at all.

I'd invite you to join our group, but we've already got about 9-10 if everyone shows up.

Wow, 9-10 people? Nice. I guess I will continue to keep on the look for a group a tad closer. I would consider the ride to Lansing actually, but it is about an hour for me. I am hoping to find an active group in this area the get together regularly. If you come across that link please post it. Apperciate the assistance. Hang on to your group, sounds like you have a good thing going!

New to the Howell Michigan area and looking to take back up an old hobby. Any adult D&D groups in the area? I'm interested in both traditional D&D and mini's. Would consider playing online as well but never really have done that before. I'm returning to the game after a looong break and need to relearn alot it seems.

All good points. I think it's all of the above reasons and the fact that if they have to make a run for it they can do so and run into the sun light. Not out into the dark of night. There is safety in the light. Or we like to think so...

Being that I just subscribed this month will I get this months issue you think?

The savings isn't even the cost of a single gallon of gas. I've never had Dragon magazine before so I'll try it for a year and see...I think I can earn about $3.00 in interest by holding on to the difference between a one year and two year subscribtion. Suffice to say though it really isn't much of an incentive to sign up for 2 or 3 years. Now if they offered a special mini for going with a two or three year subscribtion...that'd be something to consider.

I just signed up for Dragon magazine today, the miniature was the straw the broke this camels back. Had to have it. I signed up for a year but would have considered longer subscribtion but there wasn't any discount or incentive to.
