I'm building a level 10 Eidolon and was wondering if these two things stacked.

I get Energy Attacks(Acid) and later get Amulet of Mighty fists to enchant my claws with fire, is this possible?

Flaming Acid Claws would be pretty neat.

Energy Attacks

Amulet of Mighty Fists

Thanks for the help!

Wild shape works as the listed spells do depending on the druids level.

So a 4th level druid can shape into a small or medium sized animal, gaining either a +2 size bonus to Dex and +1 natural armor bonus (along with the other benefits and penalties of small size) or a +2 size bonus to Str and a +2 natural armor bonus. He would also gain the listed attacks for that creature. The spells also allow a limited number of special abilities to transfer, like climb speeds and other abilities.

A stegosaurus requires beast shape III, which wild shape upgrades to at 8th level.

So an 8th level druid stegosaurus could hit a 4d6 + trip?

Hey guys I'm new to DMing and am unclear on how Wild Shape works, do druids take the stats of the animal or the animal companion variant?

For example (on the right are companion stats): Stegosaurus

Thanks!

Oh my god, I learned under the worst GM and have had to relearn the game since him. How is damage calculated if not that then. Sorry for noobin it up.

Attack bonus is to hit. It is unrelated to your damage bonus.

You do not add your Base Attack Bonus or Size Modifier to damage either.

Edit: You do add Dex to hit with a longbow, but there is no reason to think you would add 1.5x. Two handed melee weapons add 1.5x Str to damage, not to hit.

Is this site for real? You add your attack bonus on your attack roll to see if you hit. Your attack bonus is your damage.

Damage = Weapon dice + BAB + Ability mod

Attack bonus right?

Your attack bonus with a ranged weapon is:

Base attack bonus + Dexterity modifier + size modifier + range penalty

NOt sure where you get the dex thing, but durngrun is 100% correct.

Longbow: Longbow

Composite Longbow: Composite Longbow

Not the same bow

No, nor does it get 1x Dex mod or 0.5x Dex mod. You can add your Str mod if you have a composite bow with the appropriate Str rating.

Quote:
Longbow, Composite: You need at least two hands to use a bow, regardless of its size. You can use a composite longbow while mounted. All composite bows are made with a particular strength rating (that is, each requires a minimum Strength modifier to use with proficiency). If your Strength bonus is less than the strength rating of the composite bow, you can't effectively use it, so you take a –2 penalty on attacks with it. The default composite longbow requires a Strength modifier of +0 or higher to use with proficiency. A composite longbow can be made with a high strength rating to take advantage of an above-average Strength score; this feature allows you to add your Strength bonus to damage, up to the maximum bonus indicated for the bow. Each point of Strength bonus granted by the bow adds 100 gp to its cost. If you have a penalty for low Strength, apply it to damage rolls when you use a composite longbow.

Wrong bow man

I'm not being passive-aggressive. I told him I was going to make a broken char and we both chuckled.

So wizard huh, never played anything this high so I don't really know what's crazy or not.

So I've been DMing a while and my friend always makes the most unbalanced chars for his gf that doesn't even play in my games. This time it's his turn to DM and I get to make a char for his game.

I'm trying to make the most min/maxed broken barbarian ever. Here's what I have so far (we're level 15)

Level 11 Barbarian / Level 4 Alchemist
Subclass : Titan Mauler
Race: Ogre

2 Alch discoveries : vestigial arms

Giving me a 4 armed barbarian ogre

Planning on making him quad-wield large greataxes

bought stats (20 pts)
Str 18
Dex 17
Con 12
Wis 7
Int 7
Cha 7

Should I go with this or "six-weild" a kasathan titan mauler barbarian?
