Also I made a mini for Ursula and brought her last week, but she came out looking more cat-woman than bear-woman. I have a new mini now that I'm going to try and put together. When I figure out how to get pics of them online I'll post them. :-)

I am looking forward to play as well and yes Jason I will be there.

I had to miss the game because I had to write a paper for my communication class. The sad thing is I have missed the last three sessions becuase of a tooth issue and a car issue.
All I know is never make Sim mad at you are he will do bad things to you.
Mike McArtor wrote: Last night we had another session of Jason Bulmahn's every-other-Wednesday Eberron game. In attendence were Amber Scott (Medesha on these boards), James Jacobs (James Jacobs on these boards), Tim Nightingale (uh...not on these boards?), and me (obviously).
Rather than go into all the gruesome details (actually, we roleplayed all night with nary an initiative check), I figured some at least mildly humorous quotes would be in order (they aren't necessarily exact quotes, since I didn't actually write any of these down, but they give you the gist of what was said). To place these at least a little in context, we finally arrived in Sharn on the lightning rail. None of us had ever been to Sharn (except Tim's character, who has amnesia and doesn't remember being there).
Amber (as Ursula, a shifter barbarian), as we approached Sharn on the lightning rail: "I think I'm going to be afraid of heights."
James (as Chuko, a kenku scout): "Wark!"

What title is the beginning of the Sonja Blue series and what goes after that. Sorry I guess I need a I II III to know how the series goes!
Also, as it is I haven't read these books yet, but I'm usually a good pick of books based on the front art and the tagline, so I'll probably enjoy it. Now what are some other books you would recommend of Nancy A. Collins or stuff that just rocks no matter who writes it.
I'm trying to recover from my Stephen King and Dean Koontz addiction so please help! *kisses* missy
I think the first book is called "Sunglasses after Dark." I think thier is a book called "Midnight Blue" that has the first three books together. Thier is also a few books that White Wolf put out. She also had a good Werewolf book whcih I can't remember the title.
I have not read a King novel since "Needfull Things", the ending made me so mad, I decided to never read another one of his books.

I'm not too sure most other women would be comfortable with Girl Next Door, but it was well done. I really like Hildago and I want to see Girl Next Door. Maybe I will rent that this weekend. This weekend I saw Dodge Ball, which is one of the funniest movies of 2004. I saw Girl Next Door this weekend and it was a good movie, better then I expected.

Airtrent wrote: My group rotates GM's regularly and thus we have a variety of games. D&D is still the most common, but we've played Marvel, Mechwarrior, White Wolf, and Star Wars as well. Coming soon, I'll be running my first ever Shadowrun game and I'm quite nervous. I'm now officially the only member of the group who has any of the SR books and nobody in our group has ever run the game. We've played before with a guest GM, but that was quite some time ago, so nobody really remembers the rules. Any suggestions on how to run a good SR game? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? For your first game, try to have the Decker as an NPC. Going into cyberspace can be difficult for a first time GM, I know it was hard for me. The first adventure I ran, dealt with an extraction of a empolyee of one of the Corps. They had to gather all the information, stake out the place and do the job. It allowed everyone to work out the kinks of thier characters and the rules.
Another good run would be a package delviery. They are hired to deliver a package to a certain location. What the runners don't know, another group was hired to stop or steal the package. This is a standard combat plot adventure.
I wish you the best, I love playing Shadowrun, I just wish I knew some folks in the Puyallup/Tacoma area that played.

Erik wrote: Any chance Paizo will sell a one-piece, rolled up version? I love the maps and can not wait until I have all four. I am sitting here staring at a blank wall that they will look good on. I am curious, becuase I would like to see a full map myself. How much would you pay for a one-piece, rolled up version?

Rifts is a good game. I used to play Rifts alot back in Ohio before I moved to the PNW. I still enjoy reading the sourcebooks.
Hi,
Besides D&D, what other game systems do you play in, run or just buy becuase they are cool. I am just curious becuase I have a house full of games other then D&D and I just want to know if I am not alone.
Thank you,
Rob
James Jacobs wrote: Just saw this movie on Saturday... oh BOY is it fun! One of those movies you have to go see multiple times to get all the jokes 'cause you're laughing too hard the first time to hear them all. I took my wife to see it this past Saturday and what a great movie. I have not laughed so hard in a long time. If you have not seen this movie yet, drop everything and go now.

Mt. St. Helens is all riled up again. Maybe she'll do a pyroclastic eruption this time. Of course, I'd be happy with another dust and ash cataclysm.
If she does go off again, I'm takin' a personal day and my camera and heading down for the show! :D
...now if we could just get Rainier to do something...
I live 40 miles from Rainier and it blowing would cause me all kinds of headaches. Think of me on top of my roof with a broom, making sure ash does not build up. Also, if a mudflow happens while I am at work, thier is a chance I won't be able to get home. Now I am glad I bought the house on South Hill instead if the one next to the Puyallup River.
The Puyallup River will be one of the rivers the mud flow will head down if Rainier goes BOOM!!! I am also glad I don't live in Orting, which has less then 45 minutes to get to higher ground once she blows.
Granted it will be nice to look at but a pain to deal with.

Charles Dunwoody wrote: The War of the Flowers was a great book. The hero, Theo, makes mistakes and is struggling to sort out his life. He works through the horror and loss he suffers in the beginning and all the things he goes through in a real quest to keep his life his own.
And faeries with attitude are just entertaining to read about.
I really liked this book and I keep hoping that he will write another book in this universe.
Charles Dunwoody wrote: I haven't collected Marvel comics since the '80s. But putting Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, and Spiderman on one team might just get me to spend $2.50 on a comic book. I saw the poster for the new Avengers team yesterday and I am not so sure about Spiderman being an Avenger. I know he has been a reserved member for a while but he is more of an individual super-hero.
Now Bendis has been writting some good stuff with the Ultimate Spiderman so maybe he can fit him into the Avergers team.
Charles Dunwoody wrote: I read about the Lego castles in Dragon 324. I also recommend the Dragon sets from Mega Blocks. I've gotten my son a Viking style ship, sea based castles, and am planning to get him a set that comes with a two headed dragon. Same size as Lego bricks. Sam's Club (bulk/discount warehouse) had several sets in a treasure chest last Christmas, so he has a chest to keep everything in also.
Of course, he's only one so I'll have to hold on to them for a few years for him. So I won't get to play with them any time soon!
The Mega Block sets are very cool. My boys have a bunch and I play with them all the time. I mean we play with them all the time. If you have not checked them out yet, pick up imaginext by Fisher-Price. My boys love these and you can make some cool things. Besides Fantasy, they have Pirates and some cool modern play sets.

I did go to the Paizo booth, to grab a subscription to Amazing Stories. I now have a Dungeon t-shirt to go with my Dragon t-shirt that I work out in. ;-) The funny thing is, the guy manning the Paizo booth was the same guy who was manning it when I visited it at Origins - and we recognized each other! Small world, eh?
