Nothing great, but The Foreign Trader seems the least useless hour power, so we'll put that on top. After reset, display Ley Line at the Chambers. As the party converges on the Chambers, Rivani's confidence grows with their numbers. She peers Ahead and can see the final villain waiting just beyond an encounter with a potential companion. Reading the ally's buttons in The Final Harrows, she is able to say all the right things and enlist their help. Rivani prepared for support and is unprepared to defend the villain's escape route, so she finally resorts to commanding the golem to bash down the devil keeping the path open. Bolstered by the samurai's presence, Rivani safely settles in to temporally "scout" ahead and smirks as she formulates a plan. She comes across a vile ichor of undeath that seems immune to many things, but is able to kill it with fire. Recklessly splashing the fire onto a nearby armor rack, she destroys a moderate boon, but reveals the ambush of a pair of sentinel devils! Trusting Hayato to handle the one on her flank, she convinces the one in front of her to lead her to the finest treasure in these caves before banishing it back where it came from. Rivani focuses on the future probabilities of the remaining dungeon chambers and finds too many monsters immune to fire. She nearly falls back, but remembers that's what her staff is for! Channeling some fire magic into more generic blasting power, she is able to clear out the remaining areas of the dungeons and defeat its guardian. Drew into Ley Line on reset, will drop it at the Dungeons as well to add a die to all checks that invoke the Magic trait. Closing two of her eyes and opening her third, the psychic gazes beyond the present and spies some formidable creatures ahead. Without time to prepare combat spells just now, she nearly opts to take her chances with a random path, but a slithering whisper guides her hand to her sheathed blade, and she feels confident she can forge ahead. Using her instant recall to leverage her studies in constructing and disabling contraptions of her own, Rivani deftly disarms the trap in their immediate path and steels herself to pass through the ancient dragon's lair. 0.0 She immediately throws her safety bubble across the threshold, then remembers the technical details of a back handspring to get out of the way of the dragon's predictable breath attack herself. Drawing her dagger, she makes a number of micro-calculations based on a dozen different future reactions she's Seen, then projects the most likely trajectory for success, and hurls. The blade takes off as if with wings of its own, and at her signal, Arabundi offers his own prayer and distant strike to harry the monster into position. The blade strikes home in a most innocuous of locations, above where a dragon might have a clavicle, but the reaction is immediate and intense. She gathers all the arcane power she can focus, thankful her bubble is diverting the guardian's ward, and concentrates on the mystical seams in the guardian's enchantment. Letting loose with wave of disruptive energy, she temporarily dispels it's conjuration animating it, and the automaton falls to pieces. It takes a while longer this time, but as with its defeat at the hands of the samurai, a spark, then a glow, and the the pieces start to slowly (more slowly?) gather themselves back together. Rivani peers into the future and is almost immediately accosted by a vision of an ukwar bearing down on her. She feels frozen, helpless, and briefly experiences a future where the monster runs her down, mauling her, before that image is shattered by the blinding light of Sarenarae. Kyra interposes herself between Rivani in the beast with a slight nod over her shoulder at the psychic, holding the creature off while she finishes her Seeing. The Light gives Rivani the time she needs to ready a spell and blast the monster back where it came from. She is able to use the rest of her Vision to disable a trap and pick up some useful bobbles, including one that lets her scout most of the rest of the area, including the henchman. After reset, drew into Safety Bubble which I immediately display at the location. Rivani inches through the vault with her party, peering ahead with her Sight. seeing some of the few bright spots in this place ahead, and knowing she's not equipped to get such blessings, Rivani tries to divert so others can try to get them. She stumbles into one anyway, ruining it, as expected, attracting the attention of a ghoul in the process. She stabs at its heart, and nothing happens, then she remembers it's undead and hacks at its limbs until it can't move instead. Her bat familiar squeaks on about the ghoul's scarier, flame retardant big sister around the corner, and Rivani decides she really shouldn't proceed without re-committing her spells to memory... Kyra comes over to help Arabundi sanctify the Ossuary (and grab that weapon if possible!), so Rivani floats over to the Spider Nest to assist Hayato. Another Moon Maiden is also exploring the area, and Rivani spots and strikes down a hidden gargoyle to impress her. It's no wonder the spiders have been skittish; someone set up a crematorium in their nest! And we all know how much spiders love fire... The contraption has been rigged to blow a gout of flame at anyone trying to tamper with it, but Rivani mentally runs through several iterations of the immediate future to see which control won't roast her alive and disables the machine. Thankfully, this means the spiders can come back and stop spilling out and bothering the surrounding area. Unfortunately, mama spider immediately senses both the reduced heat and intruders (us), and comes barreling in to defend her home. Rivani channels her last on-hand spell through the necro staff, keeping Shelob's strikes a bay while circling each other. Pressing the attack once her back is to the exit, Rivani weakens the big bug enough that it wisely retreats into the heart of the nest, leaving the way clear for us to escape. To the Lair!

Rivani pauses to make mental contact with her friends and is simultaneously informed that Kyra has the Crypt under control and Arabundi found a useful spell at the Ossuary that he can't get himself. Her steps are again fated into place, it would seem, and she heads over to assist the ranger. As she palms the scroll, an entrapment devil tries to force her into a deal for her soul for taking "his" property. Having foreseen his trickery, she manages to circle the devil during their negotiations, surreptitiously trailing salt behind her. She keeps it talking long enough to make it all the way around, closes the circle, and simply banishes the beast back to its realm. The psychic has already seen the guardian trap ahead, but senses there will be much unexplored if they seal it off here. Using the new scroll Arabundi found to enhance her own Sight, she peer beyond and finds a future where they discover an emergency stash of death bane weapons hidden behind a long patch of smooth amorphous stone in the wall. Rivani feels better about exploring the Crypt by Kyra's side and is encouraged by discovering a useful spell in the first chamber. As she stretches her Senses further, though, she is assaulted by the psychic screams of some ill-fated spirits, augmented by the alignment of the stars this night. With Kyra's support, she survives the onslaught, but does not think she can face it again; at least not until the the stars are more in her favor. She launches herself up from the threshold to scout the periphery, and spots a particularly flammable-looking monster to test her new spell on over at the Spider Nest. With the party reunited at the butcher's place, they quickly sweep through the building and narrow the mage's whereabouts to one corner of rooms. With such a small scope, Rivani is easily able to zero in on its location; overconfident from their previous encounters, though, she missteps and blunders into its horrid cloud of negative energy. Still, she fights through it and is able to mentally push it and it's arcane miasma back out of the building. All the surrounding locations in this area are secure. There is no escape from the small network of alleys the party has ringed. Confident in closing their net, Rivani bolts out after the creature, but can't help stopping to help some of the vendors the bloatmage's girth has upended in its passing (and maybe pick up a trinket or two on the way). Put Prayer on top; discard Mindblade to explore. Prayer CtA Divine 3: 1d4 ⇒ 2 Failure! Rivani senses Kyra's brush near the Bloatmage and rushes to the Alley to aid her. The psychic is once again able to evade the detritus left in the lumbering oaf's wake and magically divert the mage into a T intersection, but it's too far ahead and she can't make out which way it went. Knowing her friends have already secured most of the Docks area, she opts for that direction, hoping she will get lucky and find catch up if she has less ground to cover. She does get lucky in that she finds a blessing her most respected god, Nethys, that helps her psychically scout the remaining areas of the docks. Rivani peers into the future of the Office, and doesn't get far before she feels the Bloatmage mentally probing as well. She allows herself to be drawn into his psychic aura, pinpointing his location and striking a mental blow! The villain is forced to retreat to the alley again, but Rivani picks up on a piece of arcana he dropped in his wake and uses it to pinpoint his location again. Rivani finds not one, but TWO blessings hidden among and around a gas trap (which she disables along he way) and realizes one was a diversion; the Bloatmage isn't here. She uses the extra she found to teleport over to the Office to start riffling around there, but instead runs smack into a Cultist preparing to ward the building for a summoning! She reflexively freezes them in place, then immediately melts them. Overkill perhaps, but the mess (and a little divine guidance) helps her convince the office manager to close off the building to prevent errant bloatmages from trundling through. Rivani's patience are rewarded not only with the advanced scroll she spied earlier, but a powerful potential friend also wanders into view of her Sight. The caveat is she would have to pass up the opportunity to easily secure the area after disenchanting the demented deadbolts. Loot has been light of late, and looking ahead to later, she locates lots to lift and little to waylay them. Confident in their courage, she corrects the corrupted clasp but curbs the craving for convenient completion and casts her contemplation toward collecting confidantes and kit. Shaking herself from a brief fugue of reflection, she sacrifices one of her utility spells to earn the loyalty of the powerful spectral ally she encounters, then looks further out, finding a scroll that should be of interest to Kyra, and warning Arabundi of an obstacle ahead.
